Live-in Son-in-law

Chapter 1722: When a Tortoise Meets a Mung Bean

Qin Yi felt seriously wronged and just kept a dark face without saying a word.

Yin Qianqian turned her head to look at him and couldn’t help laughing. "What, you’re mad now?"

Qin Yi gave her a tsundere back-of-the-head, like: who doesn’t have a temper.

Yin Qianqian leaned in close to his ear, her breath warm and fragrant, and giggled. "How about this, I’ll let you cop a feel. I’m way prettier than those Demon Clan girls, aren’t I?"

Qin Yi jolted, seeing Yin Qianqian hike up her skirt, revealing long, snow‑white legs. She purred, "Do you want to touch?"

Qin Yi nodded almost against his will, then snapped back to his senses.

"Damn, you’re using a Charming Technique on me."

Yin Qianqian’s eyes rolled a few times, then she giggled. "Am I? Obviously you’re just lusting after my body. If you want to touch, then touch. You’ve already seen everything anyway."

"Uh..."

Qin Yi was embarrassed; when it came to that incident he had zero right to be angry.

"My figure’s amazing, right? Just looking isn’t enough. Don’t you wanna try it with your hands?"

Qin Yi’s mouth twitched. He turned his head and moved away from Yin Qianqian. "Don’t even think about seducing me. This young master’s heart is solid as a rock."

After saying that, he still quietly tugged at his pants. It was swollen and kind of hurting... Fuck, this little she‑devil.

Yin Qianqian burst out in tinkling laughter. "Qin Yi, you’re never getting out of this auntie’s grasp."

Qin Yi didn’t dare make a sound. He had to admit, this woman really had skills when it came to seducing people.

Wifey, your hubby can’t hold out much longer... Qin Yi looked up with a bitter smile, his longing for Xia Yanbing growing stronger in his heart.

Even though he’d been apart from Xia Yanbing for several years, he was still a man. It was impossible to be completely emotionless toward women; occasionally feeling a spark was normal. But he’d always been holding himself back—that was his last bit of pride and persistence.

Night fell, and everything was shrouded in darkness.

Qin Yi said, "We should head out."

"Little Wolf, lots of them don’t know how to fly. I’m leaving them to you."

Lang Ya’s handsome face darkened. "Why me?"

Even an idiot knew that taking this many people flying would be exhausting as hell.

Qin Yi looked at him and said with a straight face, "Because I’m the boss and you’re the little bro."

Using that excuse again—Lang Ya was pissed and helpless at the same time.

Everyone gathered up; Yin Qianqian, Yun Mengyao, Qin Yi, and the little white cat boarded the Sun Traveling Boat.

Out of the hundred and fifty‑plus Demon Clan girls, only half could fly, which meant Lang Ya had to carry seventy or eighty people in the air for several thousand miles.

Lang Ya’s face was pitch‑black, his teeth grinding audibly.

"Lang Ya, you got this!"

Qin Yi lay half‑reclined on the small boat, hugging the white cat, grinning as he spoke to Lang Ya.

Little bros are meant to be bullied—otherwise what’s the point of having them, he thought with perfect conscience.

If Lang Ya knew what Qin Yi was thinking, he’d definitely grab a handful of shit and smear it on his face. Bullying a Dragon way too much.

Everyone rose into the air, using the cover of night, and under Qin Yi’s lead they swept out of Feihua City.

After flying for several hours, they finally saw the Old King Turtle.

Qin Yi had never actually intended to make Lang Ya carry seventy or eighty people for thousands of miles. The two of them swapped off on the way, and he even gave Lang Ya a pouch of dried fish he’d prepared in advance. Lang Ya was so happy he was practically blowing snot bubbles, thinking this boss Qin Yi wasn’t so bad after all.

Qin Yi was secretly roasting him: this little dragon brat is way too easy to please.

"Old King Turtle, I’m here."

Huge waves rolled through the sea as a gigantic head emerged from the water, those green eyes full of resentment.

"It’s alive, alive..." Yun Mengyao jumped in fright.

Yun Mengyao said in surprise, "It’s a Nether Turtle."

Qin Yi nodded slightly. "Look at its back: vegetation’s lush, mountains and rivers everywhere, it’s perfectly livable. Plus this Old King Turtle is really sly—whenever there’s danger, it dodges. So your kind living on it will be safe enough."

Yun Mengyao was still worried. "But what if it flips over? Wouldn’t that be a disaster? If we live on its back and it rolls, won’t everyone fall into the sea?"

Qin Yi laughed. "Relax, a turtle can’t flip over. If it flips, it can’t get up again."

The Nether Turtle grumbled, "Who are you looking down on? Want me to flip right now and show you? We can’t flip on a beach, but in the ocean we can somersault all we want."

"Don’t get mad! I’m just kidding. ’Rain beating the beach, ten thousand little pits—’ Today the waves are high; you flip, and that makes you badass, okay?"

The Nether Turtle gave Qin Yi a gloomy look. "I keep feeling like you’re cursing me in a roundabout way."

"If I curse you, why would I need to go in circles? Don’t forget who’s the Lord and who’s the vassal here." Qin Yi said with disdain, while inwardly griping, I am cursing you, too bad your brain’s too slow to get it.

"Old King Turtle, look, these beauties are going to live on your back. With so many beauties keeping you company, isn’t that great?"

The Nether Turtle raised its head and took a look. "They’re ugly as hell."

Qin Yi and the others were all dumbfounded. They looked back at the crowd of girls—curvy and slim, each one a beauty. Yet coming out of this Old King Turtle’s mouth they all turned into ugly freaks?

"Fine, ugly if you say they’re ugly. Next time I get the chance, I’ll find you a mung‑bean monster—I guarantee you’ll love her."

"What’s a mung‑bean monster?" the Nether Turtle asked.

"’A turtle staring at a mung bean, the more it looks the more it likes it’—you never heard that saying?"

The Nether Turtle shook its huge head, clearly not catching the mockery in Qin Yi’s words.

"Forget it! If I find one, I’ll definitely send her to you. Anyway, hold steady. From now on, you’re neighbors, so live in peace, respect and love each other, and be one big happy family."

The Nether Turtle snorted and fell silent.

Qin Yi led everyone down onto the island.

"Ladies, from now on this will be your home. Remember, don’t harm this Old King Turtle. When it counts, it can save your lives."

From within the crowd came faint sobbing. The Demon Clan girls were crying tears of joy, overwhelmed with emotion. They’d finally escaped the devil’s clutches and had a home of their own.

"Just make do for tonight and rest up. Starting tomorrow, you’ll all have to work. I’ll teach you how to build houses and plant crops and such. The road ahead—you’ll walk it yourselves."

Bonfires rose in clusters, flames licking upward.

The Demon Clan girls were too excited to sleep, whispering among themselves and planning their future lives.

To them, a peaceful life had always been a luxury wish, and now it had finally come true.

Yun Mengyao said, "If we make fires on this Nether Turtle’s back, won’t we roast it?"

"Nope. This Old King Turtle’s defensive power is insane. Even if you burn down the whole mountain, it’s fine." Qin Yi laughed. Earlier today he’d slashed it with the God Slaying Blade and hadn’t even cracked its shell—that’s how crazy its defensive power was.

This showed that while the Nether Turtle’s combat power was weak, its innate defensive power was downright monstrous.

Qin Yi looked back at the Demon Clan girls, all too excited to sleep, and suddenly thought aloud, "Say, should we bring in a few men? Otherwise how are they supposed to reproduce? And what about when they get lonely and horny?"

Yin Qianqian cackled weirdly. "We’re not going to find men for them anytime soon. Why don’t you tough it out and, while you’re here these few days, leave some seeds behind? I did the math—there are over a hundred fifty women here. If you favor ten a day, you’ll be done in half a month."
