The three teachings all emphasized different things and all gave different method of achieving certain thing
The Dao have the principle of "Seeing the Dao with one own eyes"
One could learn and one must forget, those who could not learn and could not forget, could not see.
Hence "the Dao that can be spoken of is not the eternal Dao"
The Dao is nature, I am nature, and thus I attain the Dao, seeking nothing outside. Then you could see
And when one could see one could not help but say "This is fate"
Daoist always emphasize the word "destiny"
With destiny, one can perceive Dao at a glance, without it, even a lifetime of study would be like an outsider trying to peer inside.
Those enlightened one is opposite. Dao is concealment within manifestation, while those enlightened one’s method is manifestation within secrecy
What one seeks, they do not conceal.
They display it openly.
If there is a path to salvation, that path is in front of you. Anyone could see it. Visible to everyone.
There would be no magic, no arrays to conceal it, no restriction to protect it, it would be simply there
But one could not see it.
The monkey knows this best.
They did not conceal....the principle lies in "delusion"
Delusion into "seeking"
If one look for the road, all the see is nothing.
One could peruse ten thousand scriptures, one could turn the heaven and earth apart, seek through time and space, meditated, practiced Zen, chanted a million sutras, recited tens of thousand of mantras, using a thousand methods, but the harder you tried to find it, the less you could find it
This is the principle of "riding an ox to find an ox"
You are already riding an ox, yet you search the whole world for it, how can you find it?
It is only when you gave up...you could seek it. If one doesn’t seek it, everything else can be seen.
But if one seeks it, then it would be like a blind man trying to walk a congested road.
This feeling...this test exhaust the spirit, the more attached, the more obsessed, the wearier one become, until one could not help but falls into demonic possession, the attachment grows into resentment, the obsession turns into a demon in one heart and once one could not forget, one could only die to sever all of these obsessions and all of these attachment
The method of the Enlightened One is gentle, always leaving a way out, allowing for repentance at any time, put down the butcher knife, swipe the blood from the sleeve, repent sincerely and become enlightened!
However, if one remains stubborn, the consequences will be a wake up call and by then it would be too late. Cause and effect will be there to reap
Once one could understood this, one give up.
Not a resignation but an understanding
To gain something one has to let go, and letting go of something is not always a bad thing.
And where one has no thought like ’I must find it" no "The teaching of these monks are powerful" not even the chaotic thoughts like "I want to forget" but simply tired, like a person who is thirsty in the middle of the desert, finally deciding to lie down and rest beneath a palm tree, looking at the clouds above with white clouds and blue sky, and just was about to give up completely, only on that moment when one would find out that they already reached the city, and water is already in front of them
Then the mirage...the delusion of the desert would dissipate on its own and your eyes would see the truth.
The water....the well, it had always been there. The road to that well has always been there from the very beginning.
The one who seeks, see it when it entered but because one "wanted to see" it had become blind to it.
The method of the enlightened one is like this.
Things they want to hide....would never be hidden deep.
It was always hidden is shallow places. So shallow that all it needed to do was....not look at it, not seek it.
Then what about the method of those wise sages and teachers?
Those who wander the path, conceal within manifestation, those enlightened monks is manifestation within secret, and what about the sages?
They do not concealed nor reveal, neither hidden nor exposed. They do not place things in a dangerous place, not in the secluded place, but the most inconspicuous place, the most overlooked place.
They would hide the path in the "common place"
Ordinary, used daily with awareness.
See through it, let go and enter the world!
Enter the world, let go and see through it!
The mountain is not the mountain, look again, the mountain is not there.
Hey, look at it again, the mountain is there but different
Hey, look again. The mountain is there...and it is always the same.
Is it the mountain that changes or is it the people that watch the mountain changes? Is it the people that changes or is it the mind that changes?
The mind stirs and everything changes.
Hence, enter the world, see the mountain, let it go, see the mountain and when one reached such a point....see through it
The monkey smiles when he thinks of its and hymn and chants echoes all over the world and the universe he is in
Song and hymns that only he could hear. Those who could hear it would have a chance of enlightenment and those who are luck could become bright and wise.
A song echoing all over three thousand worlds but only a few would be lucky enough to hear it.
The monkey could not help but smiles.
In that world, he had been watching this Xi Feng.
Not many noticed this mortal.
No one thought of him and no one even knows him.
Probably in the eyes of those powerful people, Xi Feng is just a passer-by in the life of that child.
Nothing more and nothing less.
Yewa Hafar probably knows about Xi Feng. Every time that acolyte sleeps, the Destroyer probably send images of the timeline
However, even if he knows, he deign to use such a person as a chess piece. Loki....does he know?
He probably does not know. Loki knowledge is many but even that knowledge is limited to what had happened and not what is happening now
So, he does not know and he could not fathom it.
What about Hades that lord of the underworld of Olympus?
He could know if he investigates.
But he enter too late, and he enters during such a time of chaos.
His involvement is minimal, his participation is limited.
Poseidon only wanted one chess piece and he does not want to contend for the most important piece.
Everyone does not know the importance of this mortal.
But the monkey knows.
How powerful it is the cause and effect between a teacher and a disciple.
This is not a normal bond between teacher and disciple.
This is teacher and disciple that is united at heart.
And as such, the bond is deep and so is the cause and effect
Odin saw earth from a leaf and this monkey is looking at Earth inside the mirror.
And now the monkey look at the different mirror.
And that mirror shown him the Child of the End.
He usually would not bring out this mirror.
And only occasionally he would use this mirror to check in on some important matters
But today, as he was meditating and communicating with his countless selves all over the three thousand worlds, he felt a sensation.
That sensation was subtle at first but then that subtlety turns into obvious and then eh could feel it even if he did not actively seek it.
The laws and rules of the Omniverse seems to be shaking. In anger. But also a bit of fear.
And the monkey immediately knows what this is about. There is only one thing at this moment that would make the Omniverse react like this.
A child that would one day be its End. So, the monkey brought out the mirror. He would rather not look at Earth directly and clash his divine sense with people who are also observing Earth
He could do it but of there is an easier way. And the matter is not that urgent, he prefer to use his artefact.
And now he sees that child and see the clouds, see the lightning poised to strike and he could guess what that child is doing
There is only word that come out of his mouth when he sees this.
"bold"
It took some times before the Monkey deduce things and reach to a conclusion. After all, he himself had never seen someone who walk the path of perfection trying to break through to Sovereign realm
It would surely be a sight that could not be forgotten
"A three times transformation. This is like the three essence separation or the three turns transformations of sages" the monkey smiles
"The ancient path of refining the body, purifying the spirit and energy"
"But this child....what he is about to do....this is truly defying the world. Etherna..."
He could not help but utter that taboo word
