Lord Shadow

Chapter 2093: Liberated

Azul could not help but chuckle

If this was before, he would not have the leisure to enjoy these kind of things. Now, he is different.

In the end, he owes that child. He did not feel like it is a burden. If not for his unique fate and destiny, there would not be so many restriction for Azul to help him

That Child however, has his fate and destiny personally decreed in the Garden

It is part of the Promise. And so, The One would not let him interfere wily nily. The fact that he could even intervene three times is already a grace and mercy from the One.

And who knows what the One true desire and purpose are. The One is after all, not like any other beings. He transcended all of that. And because of that His plan is the most perfect plan

The fact he wanted to help might even hinder that child hence he himself thinks a lot before intervening

But he shook all of those thought from his mind for a moment and then he said

"You have seen the second timeline before it even begins. It means you have seen that the timeline would be deleted"

"You....have a stake in this game, didn’t you?" The Sorcerer smiles and he sighed

"My magic enables me to do something that defies many thing. Because my magic does not relies on external forces."

He paused for a second and then added "At least my most taboo and most powerful magic, most of them does not rely on external sources like energy. It is faith, it is conceptual, it is the intangible, the things that could only be described but could not be seen. This kind of thing is able to surpass the limitation of physical things and could produce unexpected result. So, does me seeing the cause and effect of you...and your wife"

"At that time....I thought it was because the Child is the Child of the End. Hence, that is why. But..."

"It is you. The Child of the End destiny and future is important. Probably the most important fate and destiny in the entire Omniverse. But...your fate and destiny is also inextricably linked with that child. Is his destiny that important....or was it yours that was important?"

"Was your prophecy and divination, right?"

"It was never a certainty. That child could easily have failed again. But I had a feeling" he said with a smile

Hearing this Azul wanted to press more about why the Sorcerer did all of this, whose side he is on, what he would do, why he is here when the Child of the End is about to die trying to do the impossible, whether he has allies or not....but then he shook his head

He probably could know if he pry into it.

But for a being like him....coercing someone he considered a friend, someone he wanted to have a good relation with things like this does not sit right with him

So, he only sigh

"How long will it take for you to solve the cause and effect of this planet?" Azul asked.

The Sorcerer thought for a moment.

He close his eyes and make a calculation with his finger and then he smiles

"Probably three hundred years" Azul hearing this, look at the Sorcerer with an expression of incredulity before he laughed.

The Sorcerer smiles

"Just right" Azul said.

He suddenly understood what the Sorcerer is trying to said to him.

The Sorcerer did not say anything clearly but that time period....three hundred years.

Three hundred years....that three hundred years is important. Azul could not help but chuckle

"I see. You are very confident"

The Sorcerer did not answer but he only nodded

And then Azul sighed.

" I thought I could recruit you to my world. It seems it would only be me and my wife there for some time"

"Ah, your world is not even fully constructed. It would be boring. Not like this Omniverse. So much life, so much deaths, so much stories, joy and sorrow. Each one teaching me something. Your world is still...quite empty"

Azul nodded at this

"I would not say anything else. I am also curious about what you will chose and what you will do later"

"and, what will you be doing?"

Azul thought for a moment and then said

"Since I am already here, maybe I should see some old friend. I doubt the Creator would mind that much. After all things are done, I would go back and wait until....the End" The Sorcerer smiles and nodded

"If fate allows it, we will meet each other three hundred years later"

Azul smiles and then he disappears like he was never there in the beginning and time moves again

The Sorcerer only smiles bitterly

Not because of Azul but because of the things that would happen. Even though these things did not happen yet, even though he himself is not an oracle, he could almost see it.

Predicting the future is not hard when you have seen almost everything. You could somehow guess what would happen simply by looking at the cause and effect

You don’t have to be an Oracle to see the future sometimes. You just have to be observants and now how to interpret and conceptualize the result of certain actions

Do this and you too could predict the future...to a certain degree.

He sighed

Because Azul is free...he is not.

"Three hundred years later, there would be a calamity. That would be the culmination of all the luck and fortune"

"And at that time, I would render my aid. Three hundred years to settle this matter and three hundred years to wait" The Sorcerer mutters to himself and he continues roaming around in this world of mortal

In a world where he was the god

..

While all of these things is happening far away from Earth, from a distance Earth could not travel in a dimension Earth have no ability to traverse, Azief is still in that area

He did not know that Azul had come into the Omniverse, and send an energy to help him. He probably did not know that there is prophecies about him, written during the dawn ages.

But even if he knew, he would no longer felt that he is so important.

Because if he knew, he would understand that, the person spoken in those prophecies did not necessarily has to be him

It was not like he was designated to be the Child of the End. In the past he would probably mistake it as such. That he is the Chosen One

That those prophecies elevated him all above the others. That the only choice is him. That the burden must be his and his alone. But Azief himself had seen many prophecies. And he himself could see cause and effect and knows how destiny and fate operates

Some....are like this. Destined Ones. But Azief...if he knew....then he would probably recognized that his fate was not the Chosen One. That it was not always certain he would be the Child of the End

In the other timeline, it wasn’t until a certain point that the fate and destiny of the Child of the End become his.

In this timeline however, this fate and destiny become exclusively his. The reason is simple

In the first timeline, no one knows of his fate and destiny until he ahs reached a certain point. But this time, even before he could grow up, even before he could reach that point, everyone already knows

This attitude of "already knows" causes those who knows about it to already regards him as the Child of the End

Loki seeks him and imparted many things. Things that lock him in this path

In a way it becomes like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

They believe him to be the Child of the End, hence, strengthening that destiny and fate and whether Azief like it or not, this time, that fate and destiny is his to bear without doubt and without any hope of being substituted

The first one was a discovery. The second one is certainty.

However, Azief did not know all of this things that is happening beyond his control. Even if he knew, there was nothing he could do to change it

Right now, he is floating. Before he is sitting cross legged, but right now he is floating. It felt like he is in the palace. But he is outside of the palace.

This feeling...this state of being....the more he tries to explain it, the harder it become to describe it

His Divine Sense enveloped the entire city.

Then from the city, it enveloped the kingdom, and then the entire continent and it is spreading.

It is fast, it is slow.

To those who could sense energy, all they could feel is like this powerful gust brushing through their souls, like a sharp wind gales.

But to those who are not sensitive to the changes of energy, they would not even notice it

This Divine Sense is subtle. but someone could sense it. But the further it goes, the faster it became and it become even more subtle.

It was like the state of being one with everything.

And right now, it was almost like he is the wind, he is the clouds, the grass, the water, the air.

It was like he is wandering all over the continent.
