Olivia sighed deeply and complained, "Jorge, look at what Jose has become. He doesn’t even listen to us as parents! Getting married is such an important matter, yet he’s never considered the opinions of his parents!"

Jorge Saxton knew that his brother was different only towards Nicole, having no interest in Andrea at all. He feared that speaking bluntly might make the already angry Olivia more upset and trigger her angina. After contemplating, he chose to answer tactfully, "Aunt Olivia, Jose has been distant with people since he was young. No one can persuade him to do something he doesn’t want to do. Love lasts a lifetime and marriage for decades. Perhaps Jose has his own thoughts; it might be better to ask him directly about his ideas. Besides, look at me, I’m even older than Jose and still single. We can delay the marriage talk a bit, especially considering how ambitious Jose is. You should feel reassured by his drive."

After Jorge Saxton finished speaking, Andrea Greenwood’s expression changed as she looked at him.

Jorge Saxton’s words were meant to delay the marriage talk with his mother, encouraging her to heed Brother Jose’s opinion, effectively pushing Andrea out of the picture.

Andrea felt an unprecedented dislike towards Jorge Saxton!

Of course, Jorge Saxton’s sister married into the Seys Family and has a sister-in-law relationship with Nicole, naturally closer than Andrea, and certainly desires Jose to marry Nicole. Jorge Saxton and his sister would likely be Nicole’s support, unable to be used by Andrea.

Nicole and Ariel Morris took Ryan Seys shopping at a mall owned by Era, buying many things and signing everything with Arlo Seys’s signature.

"Shopping with women is terrifying!" Ryan sighed, feeling pity for his dad, watching two women spending his dad’s money.

"Ryan, remember to earn money for your auntie and me when you grow up," Ariel Morris said playfully, holding Ryan’s hand and hearing his lament.

Nicole joined in the tease, "It won’t be just two women; in the future, if you get a wife and have a daughter, you’ll still need to support your mom and sister. Ryan, grow up and earn money."

"My mom is taken care of by my dad; Iris can be entrusted to Finley, and as for me, I’ll have my auntie support me, so I won’t need to support you terrifying women," Ryan said, looking disdainfully at the two women in front of him.

"Thinking of selling your sister already!" Ariel smiled, pinching Ryan’s cheek.

The three stepped off the elevator and headed towards the underground parking lot.

"Ariel, do you need my brother to take us to dinner? It’s almost time for him to be off work."

Ariel Morris shook her head, "He’s been so busy lately. We’ll just go eat by ourselves and not take up his time. Let’s find a nice local restaurant nearby."

"Okay."

Ariel Morris held Ryan’s hand, "Nicole, you go get the car. I’ll hold onto Ryan."

"Okay."

Nicole took the car keys to fetch the vehicle, while Ariel Morris guided Ryan, avoiding outgoing cars.

At that moment—

A car, without its lights on, sped towards Nicole in the second level of the underground parking lot.

Ariel Morris glanced accidentally, noticing the vehicle maintaining its alarming speed, heading directly for Nicole without any sign of slowing or honking.

Something was wrong—

This car accelerating in the parking lot with apparent intent on approaching Nicole felt eerily similar to the incident when the Morris Family sought to have her murdered on the cross-river bridge...

"Nicole, watch out for the car behind you!!" Ariel Morris shouted at Nicole, rushing towards her with Ryan in tow, "Slow down now, there’s someone ahead of you!!"

Ariel’s panicked voice echoed in the underground parking lot, but the driver seemed oblivious, eyes coldly fixating on Nicole as they accelerated towards her...
