Now, it returns to his hands.
Just like the Shattered Lake of old.
Ash opened "Aurora’s Mage Manual," and the first thing that caught his eye was a depiction of Dazzling Star wearing a warm yellow vest, a white dress with Martin boots, and a sun hat. She was also carrying a newly bought engineering box, purely because she thought it looked cool.
This was Dazzling Star’s attire when she went on a date with him two days ago... Even though they were already like right hand holding left hand, Dazzling Star still maintained a monthly date frequency with him, hand in hand, watching the sun, walking down the street.
The depiction occupied a large portion on the left, while the top right displayed three lines of data, namely "Supreme Holy Grail," "Source Power," and "Source Crystal," which were actually the top-tier flowing resources Ash possessed.
Below was "Exploration," which occupied a certain extent. Exploration had two notes, one was [Status: ∞/∞], and the other was [Current: Land of Origin].
Below "Exploration" were "Formation" and "Operator List." The operator list actually hadn’t changed much, only [Sword Sound Dominator], [Magic Fate], [All-Knowing and All-Powerful], [Sovereign], which were the four Queens, but their titles had changed.
Ash tapped on the specific information for operators and found that the Talent System and Profession System were there, but the Bonds Level was not marked.
Then he opened the formation, discovering it contained his distribution arrangements for everyone, like Vishi/Felix/Dedarose/Freyja/Siflin, all belonging to [Family Sequence], but at the same time, Vishi and Tamasi also belonged to [Conquest Series Team 3], indicating Vishi sometimes took care of the children and sometimes went out with Tamasi to conquer world lines.
But since aside from the Queens, others were not ’available operators,’ they appeared in gray, could not be selected or mobilized, and could only affect the allocation in the formation system through real-world arrangements.
Next were "Procurement Center" and "Seeking."
Ash opened the "Procurement Center" and found three types of currency inside, which were the Supreme Holy Grail, Source Power, and Source Crystal that Ash possessed. The items for purchase varied widely, from Flowing Gold River to Secret Realm, from Divine Beings to Wonders; anything Ash wanted could be found. But the problem was, all the Void Realm’s magic resources were in Ash’s hands, so where did these commodities come from?
"Seeking" actually remained the same as before, still seeking operators. Ash opened the seeking list, and immediately, a plethora of names rushed into view. Freyja, Igula, Blood Moon Extreme Master, and many names Ash either recognized or didn’t were within the seeking range, and the seeking system guaranteed that every time an operator was drawn, nothing else would be drawn.
Below was "Task" and "Construction," Ash opened the tasks and found all tasks were completed, the top one being [Become the Only Eight-winged].
Opening "Construction," a page of extremely complex text flipped out, listing all the world lines, Heavenly Kingdom, and resource points Ash governed, with the text alone numbering in the millions.
At this point, it basically ended, yet Ash was already rendered speechless by shock.
After a long while, he finally uttered a curse: "Observer, you little loudspeaker!"
The "Aurora’s Mage Manual" Ash initially obtained was simply like a super low-end beggar version compared to this! Undoubtedly, Observer borrowed this original version to concoct a counterfeit product for Ash!
However, Ash wasn’t unable to understand, as he found the original version lacked the Bonds System. This means, apart from the Bonds System which was indeed invented by the Observer, everything else originated from this authentic version!
As for the essence of "Aurora’s Mage Manual," Ash could easily guess: All eight creation lives in the initial world line have disappeared now, other than being devoured by "Aurora’s Mage Manual," could they be playing hide and seek with Ash?
In addition, Ash could also affirm part of "Aurora’s Mage Manual" came from beyond the world. Not only because there were too many laws surpassing the mage world inside, but more importantly, Ash already grasped all resources in the mage plane, yet it still could create new resources out of thin air, increasing the total amount of resources in the mage plane, possibly originating from external input.
This helps understand why "Professional characteristics" and other effects could not count as miracles, because they were fundamentally not miracles; they were from other dimensions’ power!
If the mage plane was likened to a house, the eight creation lives would be all raw materials, civilization the builders, trying to use the materials as best as possible while even gradually increasing the total amount, but the power from outside the world could contact outside furniture stores, defying raw material limitations to add new furniture to the house!
It’s just like making in-app purchases in a game, transcending the miracle boundary.
As for why the Observer didn’t directly take away this original version, Ash thought for a moment and understood: he couldn’t take it.
This original version was already integrated with the initial world line, and with Observer’s supreme magic powers, he had no way to package and take away the initial world line, only Ash, as the Master of Void Realm, had that authority.
Since he couldn’t take it, the Observer certainly stole some powers from the original version, then added his own Bonds System, cobbling together the "Aurora’s Mage Manual: Youth Edition" Ash used previously.
This means Observer arrived in the initial world line before meeting Ash, but at that time he was just a supreme of magic being hunted by Uroboros, how could he have possibly arrived at the initial...
