Titan’s Marrow represented the density I could command; it was a powerful skill that was born at the Fourth Earth Gate out of the lesson of being compressed.
This power had given me the ability to press my body smaller or unfold it larger without making it weak; in fact, it did the opposite: the larger I became, the stronger I was, and Endurance had been the primary reason I was able to carry so much power inside my body in the first place.
I had killed other Arcanists, and their bodies were fragile in comparison to mine, and I would not be shocked if their Endurance were still at the Adept Tier; after all, an Arcanist had the privilege of slowly being separated from their flesh, unlike me, whose body was no longer that of an average mage.
These five fragments began to fuse Endurance and Titan Marrow, which I did not think was possible, but looking back, I could see that my Endurance becoming a Broken Celestial skill may have been in preparation for this moment.
It was the first time I had observed something like this while it happened; although Lightning Edict and other spells I had were born from fusion, none of them had the assistance of law fragments.
So many things were happening inside this fusion. Still, I could not see most of it; I could only glimpse the density control of Titan’s Marrow and the unbreaking mass of maxed Endurance, poured together and then fused by Laws that took shape from both of their properties, and that fusion did not give birth to a new skill or a law shard... it gave birth to a Law!
And at this moment, a part of me crossed into Sovereign.
∞
My body had already grown to twenty feet, and as the fusion was happening, I had wrapped my hands around my body as if I was cold, but it was just the unconscious movements from my body as it sought to contain the transformation going on inside me.
This fusion hurt, but the pain felt clean, and I did not mind it; a part of me was closely following the process, and the other was trying to keep my mind intact; however, the moment a new Law was born inside my body, my bones and my flesh became something else, and it did not matter that I tried to contain it... I failed.
My hands were blasted wide open, and I looked up into the void, and I screamed as a shockwave erupted from my body, and following the shockwave was a storm of released pressure, as a Law was born.
I had tried to hold back the radiance of a Law; it would have been better if I had tried to hold up the sky. I could feel my body transforming, and this transformation was releasing an unreasonable amount of pressure that was erupting off my transforming body into the vacuum, silver-white and vast.
I did not know that pressure could even have a color, but this eruption emerged from me like a pillar that shot into the darkness of the void, piercing deep into space and continuing, while my body was held in place.
Then it expanded, a shockwave of pure Celestial pressure and torn space racing out from me in every direction, a growing sphere of silver light, and the space around me shrieked as the fabric of the void was shoved outward by the force of a body crossing into Sovereign.
The eruption spreads for hundreds of miles, then thousands, a storm of my own transformation racing across empty space faster than anything should move, silver fire written across the dark.
Anything out here with eyes to see would have seen a star being born where a boy used to be, a detonation thousands of miles wide.
Let the sky know your name, the Fifth Earth Gate had said, and I think that I had done just that. The sky knew it now. I had just signed it across a thousand miles of void in silver.
The storm of pressure was still erupting from my body when I felt the Caelith beneath me groan before it slowed to a stop and slowly began to reverse its course, before picking up speed as the eruption from my body continued.
∞
In the center of the storm, my body finished becoming, and the pain stopped with a finality that felt extremely jarring and yet still pleasant. It was as if my body had attained a state where pain no longer existed.
My body had shrunk to its normal state, becoming six feet, and suddenly I felt the void being pushed away from me, almost as if my body had become separate from everything around me... even without me asking for it, my status screen flashed before me, devoid of the corruption that had scared me a moment before.

My breathing stopped, and the entire world seemed to freeze; it was with the strength of will that I pushed further to read the description of this new skill.
[ The bearer’s flesh has learned the Law of what does not yield. The density he once merely commanded is now made incorruptible; bone, sinew, and substance grown adamantine, unfolded or compressed in true proportion and unbreaking at any size. The body remembers every pressure it has survived and refuses it thereafter. ]
[ Fuel: Celestial Marrow. What has broken you once cannot break you the same way twice. ]
Adamantium Titan... My first Sovereign Tier skill was born.
I had crossed into Sovereign, and I had done it in a way that I did not truly anticipate, as it was my body that made this crossing first and not my Anima, or my Law Mastery... in fact, I had not even begun studying Laws before I broke through.
With this transformation, could I even see myself as a mage any longer? My flesh was now a fortress, and a monument to everything I had survived.
I flexed my hand. The movement was effortless, but I could feel the density beneath my skin, the weight of my bones, the strength coiled in my muscles. It was almost ridiculous, and I barely had any way to describe it.
It was almost as if I had become unbreakable and uncorruptible; even the void itself could not touch me, and I no longer felt the chill of space. Then I realized that the Caelith was beginning to fall.
