Martial Dao: Peace by Force
Chapter 183 - 140: Double Kill! Divine Martial Is Nothing SpecialChapter 183: Chapter 140: Double Kill! Divine Martial Is Nothing Special
It was the same Leg Technique.
Fast, vicious, and relentless.
The first kick swept toward the back of Wan Ze’s knee. The second followed a spinning back-kick. The third aimed straight for his face.
In an instant.
The wind from the kick rushed toward his face. Wan Ze suddenly raised his hand.
He clenched his five fingers into a fist.
It only took one punch.
No flashy moves, no dramatic surge of power.
Just this one punch.
Thrown straight forward.
Zhao Ying’s leg was still in mid-air when Wan Ze’s fist reached his chest.
"BAM!"
A dull thud exploded outward.
Zhao Ying was sent flying backward as if struck by lightning, his Leg Technique offense crumbling in an instant!
The pupils in his wide eyes contracted sharply.
’This is bad!’
’This kid’s been hiding his strength all along!’
He had assumed that since Tan Xiao was Brother Tan, he must be stronger than Wan Ze.
But the result—
It wasn’t true at all!
’Wan, you son of a bitch, you have no martial honor!!!’
Zhao Ying roared internally while his body was still flying backward through the air.
Unexpectedly, Wan Ze followed right after him.
A stunned Zhou Yuan, standing to the side, saw this and his expression changed.
Zhao Ying couldn’t take the first punch, let alone this powerful second one.
If Wan Ze continued his attack, Zhao Ying would be carried out of here today.
And so...
He made his move.
He took a step forward, the wind from his palm strike howling as he intercepted Wan Ze from the side!
Wan Ze didn’t even turn his head.
He raised his left hand, meeting Zhou Yuan’s palm with his own.
"BAM!"
As their palms met, a wave of energy exploded.
Zhou Yuan felt a tremendous force surge from his palm, numbing his entire arm. He stumbled back three steps, his soles scraping two black marks across the ground.
Wan Ze stood his ground, not moving an inch.
His right hand didn’t stop; his outstretched fingers had already grabbed Zhao Ying’s ankle.
Then...
In front of everyone, he swung him up.
And slammed him down hard!
BAM!!
Zhao Ying was brutally smashed onto the ground. The green bricks shattered, and dust flew everywhere.
He immediately spat out a mouthful of blood and curled up like a shrimp, unable to move.
Zhou Yuan steadied himself, his face ashen.
He never imagined Wan Ze could deal with him while also beating Zhao Ying to such a state.
"How dare you!" he roared. "Is this how people from Dragon Eagle conduct themselves? This was just a spar, yet you use lethal force—"
"You talk too much."
Wan Ze cut him off.
He had already dashed in front of Zhou Yuan in a single, quick step.
Zhou Yuan’s pupils shrank. He thrust out both palms.
He was Elder Peng’s personal disciple and had just achieved Refining Viscera last month.
Attacking with his full strength, the wind from his palms was like a blade. Each strike contained enough force to shatter stone and crack monuments.
But he never expected Wan Ze’s first punch to smash right through his palm-strike momentum.
’Not good!’
Zhou Yuan’s expression changed drastically.
’This kid is also in the Refining Viscera Realm!’
’And his Power is even more ferocious than mine!’
’Damn it!’
’A miscalculation!’
In the blink of an eye, another of Wan Ze’s punches shattered Zhou Yuan’s block.
The third punch slammed into his chest.
"PFFT!"
Zhou Yuan spat out a mouthful of blood and staggered backward.
But, as expected of Elder Peng’s disciple, he managed to stay on his feet, digging his heels in to stabilize himself.
But...
Wan Ze had already grabbed the front of his shirt.
He yanked him forward.
Zhou Yuan lost his balance and stumbled toward Wan Ze. Panicked, a fierce glint flashed in his eyes as he gathered power in his elbow, intending to use the collision’s momentum to land a devastating strike.
Unfortunately, Wan Ze gave him no such chance.
Sidestepping, Wan Ze used Zhou Yuan’s forward momentum against him. His right hand grabbed his belt while his left pressed down on his shoulder.
And then...
He swung him up again.
And slammed him down!
"BAM!!!"
Zhou Yuan was swung in a full circle and smashed into the ground. The green bricks exploded again, and the ground itself seemed to tremble.
He lay sprawled in the crater of shattered bricks, the whites of his eyes showing, bloody foam bubbling from his mouth.
He didn’t move at all.
Utterly powerless to resist.
Blood stained the ground... A dead silence fell over the area.
Standing in the crowd, Ming Hua watched the scene, his legs turning to jelly.
Only one thought ran through his mind...
’How did I ever dare to challenge Wan Ze yesterday...’
He subconsciously touched his chest.
’If Wan Ze had used this kind of force with that finger strike...’
He didn’t dare to imagine it.
A wave of relief washed over him, followed by immense admiration for Wan Ze.
Ming Wei stood beside him, her mouth agape, unable to close it for a long time. Staring at Wan Ze’s back, she suddenly understood a truth... some people’s youth is only skin-deep.
Ming Lei, his arm in a sling, stood ramrod straight.
He too was watching Wan Ze, an indescribable fire burning in his eyes.
’Dragon Eagle.’
’So this is what Dragon Eagle is really about.’
’No wonder Grandfather and Father always demanded we respect Dragon Eagle. So this is why!’
He finally understood.
In the dead silence.
Wan Ze let go, stood up, and nonchalantly brushed the dust from his cuffs. His gaze swept over the two men lying on the ground.
Then.
He turned his head to look at Sheng Rulong.
Sheng Rulong met his gaze.
His mind went blank with a buzz, and he subconsciously took a step back.
And another.
He tripped and fell backward, landing on his butt in a pathetic heap.
Wan Ze looked down at him.
He spoke coolly, "Does your Sheng Family have a problem with Dragon Eagle?"
Sheng Rulong’s face was deathly pale, his lips trembling. He couldn’t utter a single word.
Wan Ze didn’t look at him again.
"Brother Tan. Contact the martial hall immediately. Report this exactly as it happened and find out what the Sheng Family is playing at."
Tan Xiao, having snapped out of his shock, nodded quickly and took out his communicator.
Sheng Rulong was violently jolted back to his senses.
He scrambled up from the ground, stumbled over to Wan Ze, and bowed deeply, his voice warped with fear. "Master Wan, forgive me! Master Wan, forgive me! I had absolutely no intention of disrespecting Dragon Eagle! This was all my fault. I was foolish, I wasn’t thinking straight! Please, Master Wan, be the bigger person..."
He spoke in a rush, large beads of sweat dripping from his forehead.
All his cleverness, all his schemes—they were nothing in the face of absolute Power.
Wan Ze looked at him. "As an adult, there’s a certain truth you should understand."
Sheng Rulong froze abruptly.
He looked up in disbelief.
"Every action has a consequence..." Wan Ze’s tone was flat. "He told you to issue a challenge, so you did? If he told you to eat rocks, would you eat them?"
Sheng Rulong stood there stunned, his face alternating between pale and livid.
After a long moment, he asked stiffly, "What... what do you want?"
Wan Ze glanced at him.
Then averted his gaze.
"You’re not yet qualified to sit at the table."
He lifted his foot, walked past Sheng Rulong, and approached the two men on the ground.
Sheng Rulong remained where he was, as if nailed to the spot.
Wan Ze crouched down.
His movements were natural, as if he were checking their injuries.
His hand searched inside Zhou Yuan’s clothes. When his fingertips touched the Jade Pendant tied to his waist, he felt a cool sensation.
...
[Stealing Celestial Secret: Tiger and Wolf Momentum 80%]
...
He then pulled a thin booklet from Zhao Ying’s waist, opened it, and skimmed through it, ten lines at a glance.
[Illustrated Guide: Divine Martial Twelve-Ring Leg]
[Skill Beginner Level Requirement: Perform this Leg Technique three times.]
He closed the booklet and discreetly tucked it back into Zhao Ying’s clothes.
He patted down Zhou Yuan’s body again.
His movements paused.
’Nothing?’
’Useless trash!’
Then he stood up.
"Let’s go," he said to Tan Xiao.
The two of them walked through the crowd and headed outside.
Behind them, a scene of utter ruin.
Sheng Rulong was still standing in the same spot, like a wooden post.
Ming Lei watched Wan Ze’s departing figure and suddenly let out a soft breath.
"Dragon Eagle..." he murmured.
Beside him, Ming Wei’s voice was filled with a strange yearning. "Now *that’s* Dragon Eagle... Brother, I want to go train at Dragon Eagle!"
Ming Lei was taken aback, then gave a bitter smile. "I don’t know if the Old Master would be willing..."
The expressions of the younger Ming Family members darkened slightly.
But when they saw Sheng Rulong standing there as if his soul had left his body, they felt an inexplicable sense of relief.
"Let’s leave first," Ming Lei said in a low voice. He had to explain all of this to his father as soon as possible.
’There must be some inside story involving the Sheng Family and the Divine Martial Society.’
But still...
’This Master Wan from Dragon Eagle is so damn strong!’
