The three demon vessels suddenly appeared around Dominique. She had been standing beside Ravena the entire time and hadn’t said anything because Ravena had told her to remain silent.
However, the moment Dominique sensed the three demon vessels appearing around her, she immediately reacted. She tried to turn herself into her phantom state and escape before they could attack her.
But all three demons moved at the same time.
Each of them was holding a mana sword enveloped in dark fog, and they struck Dominique from three different directions. Their swords hit her phantom body simultaneously before she could completely escape.
As soon as the swords connected, the dark fog immediately spread across Dominique’s entire phantom body.
Her phantom state was forcibly disrupted.
Dominique’s body returned to its physical form, and the three swords were already embedded in her body. Two had pierced through her arms, while the third had struck her from behind and passed through her body.
Dominique coughed up blood, her expression filled with disbelief.
Before she could even react, one of the Asher vessels moved again and severed her head completely.
Just like that, a Grandmaster-rank demon died without even having the chance to properly resist.
Dominique had encountered the worst possible enemy she could have faced.
Her abilities simply didn’t work against these vessels.
Her phantom state, which had allowed her to avoid countless attacks throughout her life, had been completely useless against them. She had been unable to escape, hide, or defend herself against their attacks.
Everything had happened within only a few moments.
The others couldn’t even properly understand what had happened.
The human Grandmasters were especially confused.
They couldn’t understand why Asher had suddenly ambushed and killed one of the demons fighting alongside him.
Even more confusing was how he had managed to kill a Grandmaster-rank demon using what appeared to be nothing more than an ordinary mana blade.
Normally, a regular mana attack would simply pass through Dominique’s phantom body without causing any damage.
Yet this time, the attack had struck her directly.
Ravena stared at Dominique’s corpse for several moments.
Then, slowly, she raised her gaze toward the Asher vessel that had just killed Dominique. Her expression was filled with confusion, and for the first time, there was a trace of uncertainty in her eyes.
"Why?"
The Asher demon vessel didn’t answer.
It simply turned away from Ravena and looked toward the four Grandmaster-rank humans standing together inside the Light Element shield.
The human vessel of Asher then spoke calmly.
"She was useless, so she’s more useful like this."
He paused for a moment before continuing.
"Now, just absorb her body and activate your Domain."
Ravena remained silent for a moment, still looking at Dominique’s corpse.Asher’s human vessel then turned his attention toward the four human Grandmasters.
"Don’t worry about those four. They’re difficult to kill, so I can’t deal with them myself, but I can make sure to hold them off for some time."
His expression remained calm as he continued.
"And do it faster. These demon vessels won’t remain alive for much longer now."
Ravena remained in a daze for a moment, still unable to understand why Asher had sacrificed Dominique so easily. However, she quickly pushed those thoughts aside and absorbed Dominique’s body, because at this point, that was the only way she could survive.
As Ravena absorbed the blood, she looked toward Asher’s vessel and thought, Will he even leave me alive after killing these four Grandmasters?
But knowing Asher’s intentions was futile. She didn’t have enough information to understand what he was planning, so she stopped thinking about it and focused entirely on absorbing the blood.
As she continued, Ravena’s aura gradually began rising. The four Grandmasters immediately noticed the change and understood that allowing her to recover any further would make the battle much more difficult.
However, there wasn’t much they could do while Asher’s vessels were standing guard around her. They already knew that underestimating those strange vessels would be the same as inviting death.
Even if one of them activated their Domain, the result might not change. Ravena was a Noble High-rank demon, and her Domain could easily overpower the Domain of a single Grandmaster.
The situation had completely gone beyond their expectations. After exchanging brief glances, the four humans decided to do the only thing that could possibly help them out of this predicament.
Klein immediately sent a signal to Headquarters requesting reinforcements. The situation had gone completely out of their control because of a few strange Master-rank creatures that had suddenly appeared inside the facility.
Asher noticed Klein sending the signal. He looked at him for a moment before turning his attention toward Ravena.
With an amused tone, he said, "You should do it faster now, or else your dream of escaping will only remain a dream."
Ravena didn’t respond. She simply continued absorbing the remaining blood without wasting any more time.
After a few more moments, Ravena finally finished absorbing Dominique’s body. Her aura had not yet returned to its peak, but the increase was still enormous.
The pressure coming from her was now far stronger than before, making even Klein and the other Grandmasters feel the difference immediately.
Then, Ravena finally activated her Domain.
The moment she did, the surrounding space began changing. The walls, floor, and ceiling seemed to distort as an enormous amount of blood-colored mana spread throughout the area.
The space around them twisted violently before the entire battlefield was swallowed by Ravena’s Domain.
Asher’s vessel, Klein, Steve, Alan, and Alex were all enveloped by it.
In the next moment, they found themselves standing in a completely different world.
They had entered Ravena’s Domain.
Ravena’s Domain stretched endlessly in every direction. The ground beneath them was no longer the facility floor, but a vast landscape covered entirely in dark crimson blood.
Rivers of blood flowed across the land, winding through the domain like enormous serpents. Some were calm and slow, while others moved violently, their surfaces constantly rippling with mana.
The air itself was filled with the thick scent of blood.
Everywhere they looked, they could see enormous pools and rivers of blood stretching toward the horizon. The entire world seemed to have been transformed into a massive blood ocean.
