Chapter 3097: Chapter 1028: A New Target (Part 2)
Thus...
Since at that time he believed that his current Action contained no error, and his previous Actions had also achieved quite good results, then according to the situation back then, it was entirely possible that Zhou Tian would naturally Hope to, just as he imagined, in one stroke Annex a great multitude of worlds. And following that line of thought, after successfully driving back the consciousness of the Divine Realm and that group of Divine Kings, Zhou Tian immediately unfolded a new round of Action.
At present, Zhou Tian estimated that those Divine Kings had already detected his Actions. However, given the circumstances at the time, Zhou Tian did not fear those Divine Kings’ Response, for although they could sense the general trajectory of Zhou Tian’s overall Actions, as for exactly how Zhou Tian was going about it, that was something that group of Divine Kings was powerless to know.
It could be said that even if every one of those Divine Kings knew that Zhou Tian was preparing to Annex those Advanced Worlds, and they also understood what it would represent for them once Zhou Tian had Annexed those Advanced Worlds.
Yet at that moment, even though the number of Advanced Worlds was so great as to be uncountable, under the situation at the time, with them fundamentally unable to determine which Advanced World Zhou Tian was preparing to strike at, then even if they knew what kind of idea Zhou Tian was entertaining, that group of Divine Kings still had no Method to make preparations in advance.
Thus, under the conditions of that time, after learning of Zhou Tian’s plan, all that group of Divine Kings could do was merely to erect some defenses in that regard, to see whether they could rush over to obstruct him at the very first instant that Zhou Tian launched his Action. And by virtue of their Strength, that group of Divine Kings remained confident that, relying on their Ability to hinder Zhou Tian’s Actions, the Hope of Success was still quite large.
Only...
Previously, in Zhou Tian’s last Action, it had been only at the very end that the Divine King ruling that particular world finally discovered his Action, and that was still under the condition that Zhou Tian had not deliberately Hidden his identity. If not for certain small Accidents and Zhou Tian’s choices at the time, it could be estimated that even up until that world was Annexed by the Abyss, the Divine King ruling that world would have remained utterly ignorant of Zhou Tian’s Actions!
Thus, even the Divine King ruling the world which Zhou Tian had fixed his gaze upon had no way of discovering Zhou Tian’s Actions; then, relying on the Ability of that group of Divine Kings who were enemies of Zhou Tian at the time, wanting to detect his Footprints at the moment Zhou Tian was acting would certainly be extremely difficult.
And if, just as in the previous instance, before that group of Divine Kings could hurry over, Zhou Tian had already Annexed that world, then even if that group of Divine Kings arrived in the world where Zhou Tian was, they would still be utterly unable to obstruct Zhou Tian’s Actions any longer.
Last time it had been such a situation, and it was believed that, if no Accident occurred, then the situation next time would likewise not change in any significant way. As long as, by the time that group of Divine Kings rushed over, Zhou Tian had already Annexed the greater part of that world, then regardless of whether the consciousness of the Divine Realm or that group of Divine Kings discovered his Actions, by that point they would all be equally powerless to alter anything.
And precisely because, at that time, Zhou Tian possessed ample Confidence in his own Actions, then even though in his heart he already clearly knew that his plans had been thoroughly grasped by that group of Divine Kings and the consciousness of the Divine Realm, Zhou Tian nevertheless had no intention whatsoever of changing his Decision. Even if he allowed those Divine Kings to implement targeted Deployment, Zhou Tian still decided to proceed according to the original plan.
Thus, while that group of Divine Kings were inwardly pondering how Zhou Tian would conduct himself next, Zhou Tian, in secret and relying on his Ability, once again descended into a new world.
This time, the world that Zhou Tian fixed his gaze upon was still not one of those worlds he was familiar with. However, one point could be confirmed: although Zhou Tian was not very familiar with that world, every world he targeted would invariably be stronger than the last; having Annexed one Powerful world, Zhou Tian would never go back to Annex another world weaker than the previous one—such a thing was something Zhou Tian simply would not do.
Zhou Tian believed that, if he could grow following such Tactics, then once the Abyss World’s Strength reached a certain level, it could be estimated that even if he no longer personally Took Action, relying on the Ability of the Abyssal Creatures under his command, they would likewise be capable of Annexing those worlds which currently still required his personal Annexation.
Thus, although at that moment Zhou Tian was continuously Taking Action against those Advanced Worlds, his fundamental goal was merely to raise the Strength of the Abyss World. As for precisely how many worlds he had Annexed at that time, to Zhou Tian then, in fact, this was not an Important Matter.
And without doubt, no matter what kind of world was Annexed, it would all constitute profit for the Abyss World. Yet, if the worlds Annexed were stronger and more unfamiliar, then the degree of profit they brought would assuredly be greater.
Thus, if he had the Ability, Zhou Tian would usually only strike at those stronger and more unfamiliar worlds; unless the Action ended in Failure, Zhou Tian would generally not fix his gaze once more upon worlds weaker than the last one he had Annexed.
As a result, under the circumstances at the time, Zhou Tian quite naturally fixed his gaze upon a certain unfamiliar world; and it was believed that, barring any Accident, that world which had been targeted by Zhou Tian would, in the end, most likely find it hard to escape his Poisonous Hands.
Of course, since at that time Zhou Tian was also unfamiliar with that world, it was possible that its internal rules would exert a certain degree of Resistance against him. Thus, if by then Zhou Tian could not so easily achieve his goal as he imagined, then regardless of whether it was the Counterattack of that world itself, or the Actions of the consciousness of the Divine Realm and the Divine Kings, it was feared that all would be sufficient to influence his Actions.
Without any doubt, given the Ability of those adversaries of Zhou Tian, once he was already about to Annex that world, it might still be that they had no way to prevent that world from falling into Zhou Tian’s hands. Yet if that world’s Resistance was stronger than expected, and adding to that the fact that Zhou Tian had not fully mastered that world, then with the support of the consciousness of the Divine Realm, for them to drive Zhou Tian back would not be difficult.
Thus, judging solely from that aspect at the time, Zhou Tian’s Actions could also be said to be courting risk. Given such conduct of his then, if his Actions proceeded smoothly, then all would be well; but once Zhou Tian’s Actions at that time encountered Problems, it could be estimated that his troubles would likewise become great.
However, Zhou Tian just liked to engage in such things, and high risk certainly represented enormous profit. In order to raise the Abyss World’s Strength as quickly as possible, Zhou Tian was willing to take on risks of this kind.
Thus, driven by such thinking at the time, Zhou Tian, relying on his own simple estimation of certain worlds, confirmed that the world he was targeting then was stronger than the last one, and even though he was not particularly well acquainted with that world, he still, without another word, chose to Invasion that world.
Only after Zhou Tian successfully entered that world did he, relying on his Ability, come to grasp some of that world’s Information. Of course, this merely gave Zhou Tian a preliminary understanding of that world, and in terms of his Actions to Annex that world, it did not provide much Help.
In any case, the Strength of the world Zhou Tian had fixed his gaze upon at that time lay plainly there. Although Zhou Tian did not fear the opponent, if that world could bring its Strength to bear, it would not be an easy matter for Zhou Tian to Annex it. Thus, while at that time it was difficult for Zhou Tian to Annex that world, and as long as that world discovered Zhou Tian in advance it could obstruct his Actions, then no matter how well he understood it, the Help to his Actions would still remain limited.
Even so, regardless of how small the Help was at that time, being able to first understand part of that world’s Information allowed Zhou Tian to have somewhat more assurance when he proceeded to unfold his Actions next. At the very least, once he knew the general state of that world’s main Power System, Zhou Tian would be able to implement some targeted Deployment.
As long as the Environment of that world at the time was not exceptionally special, and as long as there was no Divine King guarding that world, Zhou Tian had the Confidence to Guarantee that even if he continued acting according to his old Method, he would still ultimately be able to achieve his goal.
