Chapter 3103: Chapter 1031_2
Without a doubt, if there truly was a Divine King ruling that world, upon discovering Zhou Tian, action would be immediate. Although Zhou Tian is unafraid of other Divine Kings, given that the consciousness of that world itself is already troublesome, if it teams up with a Divine King, Zhou Tian would likely not be their opponent unless he severely corrupts that world to a certain standard.
Given the situation then, if a Divine King were truly ruling that world, Zhou Tian’s actions would basically amount to failure. After all, in the early stages, his footprints must absolutely remain unnoticed. If the Divine King ruling the world discovers his movements, without having established enough influence in that world, and while fighting on away ground against the consciousness of the Divine Realm and such a large group of Divine Kings, Zhou Tian would not be their opponent.
Therefore, if there was a Divine King ruling that world, when things progressed to that point, Zhou Tian would have essentially reached the moment where he must retreat. Even if Zhou Tian assumed some unwillingness back then, no matter his reluctance, if he didn’t want to die, he would still have to choose to retreat.
Fortunately, because of that world’s uniqueness, the situation Zhou Tian feared didn’t arise.
Zhou Tian found it hard to annex that world because its consciousness was extremely special. His actions were constantly obstructed by the consciousness of that world, making it difficult for Zhou Tian to achieve results proportional to his effort. If it weren’t for the obstructive actions of that world’s consciousness, Zhou Tian might have already initiated his original actions.
As a result, in a truly desperate situation, Zhou Tian had no choice but to repeatedly take action to ensure the smooth progression of his plans. During these actions, Zhou Tian was aware that his movements could expose his presence, but he had no other options.
Ultimately, relying on his own strength, Zhou Tian successfully helped the few living beings he had cultivated to grow within that world. With the Abyssal Rules taking root in that world, the limitations on the actions of that world’s consciousness naturally increased. Due to the existence of the Abyssal Consciousness, when that world’s consciousness attempted to suppress its internal living beings cultivating Abyssal Power, it was inevitably obstructed.
Without the suppression of the world consciousness, compared to that world’s power, the advantage of Abyssal Power was exceedingly clear. At the very least, having witnessed the might of Abyssal Power, most of the living beings aspiring to become strong would likely choose to cultivate Abyssal Power.
As the number of living beings cultivating Abyssal Power increased, the situation faced by that world’s consciousness became more dire.
To counter that world’s consciousness, Zhou Tian took considerable risks to gain the upper hand. It is believed that if Zhou Tian did not possess some strength, achieving what he did would have been completely impossible.
Thus, if it was so difficult for Zhou Tian to deal with that world’s consciousness, it would naturally be even more difficult for other Divine Kings to do so.
What Zhou Tian struggled to accomplish would be even more impossible for other Divine Kings. Even if those Divine Kings did not want to annex that world, but merely to rule it, it would still not be an easy task.
No one would want a superior figure above them. With the world consciousness ruling that world, even if a Divine King wanted to rule it, the world consciousness would surely fully obstruct it. Typically, because a world’s consciousness lacks thinking capability, regardless of its original power, it cannot muster any resistance against the invasion of a Divine King.
However, the world consciousness back then was an exception, having evolved its intelligence to the standard of the Divine Realm consciousness. If anyone attempted to rule it, this world consciousness would certainly not act as if nothing had happened. Given its abilities, if it fully attempted to expel the invading Divine King, Zhou Tian would find it exceedingly difficult to resist him, and other Divine Kings would not easily subdue it either.
Therefore, considering the capabilities of that world consciousness, it is clear that there certainly wouldn’t be another ’owner’ in the world it ruled.
So, since no Divine King ruled that world at the time, when Zhou Tian was forced to personally take action to assist the living beings he had cultivated, though his actions were significant, they still did not alert any Divine King. Ultimately, not until Zhou Tian enacted his plan and let the Abyssal Rules take root in that world, did any Divine King emerge to attack him, the invader.
Undoubtedly, regardless of whether the attack from a Divine King would pose a threat to Zhou Tian, the fact remains that no Divine King appeared, allowing Zhou Tian’s actions to remain unnoticed by the Divine Realm for the time being. Otherwise, if that world had made contact with the Divine Realm, Zhou Tian could no longer quietly annex it.
Thus, with the progress reaching that point, successfully laying the groundwork for the invasion in that world, everything for Zhou Tian was not only challenging but had a significant element of luck involved. Without favorable luck, anchoring the Abyssal Rules in that world as effectively as now would have been difficult.
Undoubtedly, upon reaching that point, since Zhou Tian successfully established the foundations for the invasion in that world, as long as his strength is sufficient, annexing that world doesn’t seem as difficult as imagined from any perspective.
And certainly, since Zhou Tian had the ability to annex that world, he would surely not be polite with the opponent. Although previously lacking the ability, now that he possesses it, Zhou Tian will certainly strive to annex it.
However, although Zhou Tian had successfully implanted the Abyssal Rules into that world, making it difficult for the world consciousness to affect Zhou Tian’s actions with the constraints of Abyssal Consciousness, the previous performance of that world consciousness is clear. With its current IQ and certain thinking capability, the greater Zhou Tian’s advantage, the stronger the counterattack it would draw.
Not knowing how the Divine Realm consciousness would respond if driven to a desolate place, Zhou Tian can only speculate. However, it is certain that once the world consciousness is truly pushed to the brink by Zhou Tian, its response may not be identical to the Divine Realm consciousness, but its performance will certainly not be like world consciousnesses Zhou Tian had encountered previously.
Not the first time dealing with world consciousnesses, Zhou Tian, leveraging his strength, frequently assisted the Abyss World in annexing other worlds. Based on previous tactics, as long as Zhou Tian defeated the world consciousness, no trouble was encountered during the subsequent annexation.
Yet, whereas Zhou Tian previously faced no trouble annexing those worlds, currently, having just defeated the consciousness of this world and preparing to commence the annexation, Zhou Tian is well aware that he will undoubtedly encounter obstacles. At the very least, the then world consciousness will certainly not sit idly by at that point. (To be continued.
