Chapter 75: Chapter 75 - when it all falls down
Another long and exhausting day lay ahead of Dylan.
Between running his company, taking care of his son, and looking after his wife as she slowly learned to walk again, he barely had any time left for himself. And to make matters worse, his ex-wife seemed determined to make his life as difficult as possible, adding even more problems to an already exhausting situation.

Dylan lifted his eyes from the documents on his desk and saw his assistant quietly closing the door behind her.
"Norah, I already told you that you don’t have to do this," Dylan said.
Norah was the assistant his wife had personally chosen to take care of his needs while she was unable to do so herself because of her condition.
The woman in her thirties had short black hair tied into a ponytail and wore a pair of glasses that were supposed to make her look more professional. Instead, they somehow gave her an even more provocative appearance.
"You told me that last time," Norah replied with a teasing smile. "But if I remember correctly, you certainly enjoyed it afterward."
As she spoke, she slowly unbuttoned her blouse, revealing her large breasts.
She then walked toward Dylan with the confidence of a runway model.
Without saying another word, Norah turned his chair around until he was facing her. She then reached down and unzipped his pants.
Dylan didn’t stop her.
Why should he?
He had been having a terrible week. Maybe he deserved a little moment of relaxation.
Norah pulled out his manhood and began rubbing it like a magic lamp before giving the tip a soft kiss, drawing a quiet reaction from Dylan.
He leaned back in his chair, allowing himself to relax for the first time in days.
Norah then wrapped her lips around Dylan’s penis and began sucking him skillfully. She stroked him at the same time, making sure everything was well lubricated to make the friction easier.
"Oh, fuck!" Dylan groaned, tilting his head back in pleasure.
A satisfied smile appeared on Norah’s face as she watched her boss react, pleased with her skills. But she wasn’t done giving him everything she had.
Norah shifted closer and then placed Dylan’s erect penis between her breasts and began giving him a boobjob. Dylan’s breathing grew heavier thanks to the wonderful sensual massage his penis was receiving between Norah’s breasts. She didn’t settle for just giving him a boobjob; she also sucked the tip of his penis at the same time.
Dylan’s breathing became heavier as he struggled to maintain control.
Unable to resist for another second, Dylan ejaculated, his semen landing on Norah’s lips and generous chest.
She cleaned Dylan’s penis with her mouth, then licked her lips and swallowed with pleasure, satisfied that she had done her job.
She grabbed a tissue and cleaned herself up before straightening her blouse and returning to her desk as if nothing had happened.
Dylan took a moment to compose himself. He cleaned up, zipped his pants, and glanced at the pile of documents waiting for him.
He felt much more relaxed now.
He picked up his pen and returned to work.
This time, he was much more focused.
After finishing the most urgent files, Dylan decided to head home. It was already quite late, and he was the only one left in the office since the others weren’t the type to work overtime like he was.
When he arrived at the underground parking lot, a smile appeared on his face when he saw the sign mounted on the wall.
’CEO Parking Only.’
Seeing something that reminded him that he had become an important person always made Dylan happy.
He got into his car with a smile on his lips.
However, his heart suddenly skipped a beat when he looked in the rearview mirror.
There was a man sitting in the back seat of his car, hidden from view before.
Then...
The man wrapped an arm around Dylan’s neck from behind and pressed a cloth over his mouth.
Dylan struggled to resist, but the man was physically much stronger than him, and his breathing was cut off.
Little by little, Dylan’s consciousness faded away until everything went black.
Dylan thought he would wake up in some terrifying place, but the place where he actually woke up terrified him even more.
He was at home.
He was sitting in his usual seat at the dining table, while Lucinda, his son, and another man were sitting around the table.
It was Clovis Turner, his former father-in-law, calmly eating at the other end of the table.
Dylan immediately got up from his chair, remembering that someone had knocked him unconscious and brought him home.
"What are you doing here?" Dylan asked in a hostile tone, making his son flinch. The boy had no idea what was going on.
"Sit down!" Clovis ordered.
He pulled out a gun and calmly placed it on the table, seemingly unconcerned that there was a child sitting with them.
"Have you lost your mind? What you’re doing is illegal," Dylan said, unable to believe the situation he was in.
"You dare talk to me about what’s illegal after what you did to my daughter?" Clovis replied, his voice suddenly much harsher.
That was when Dylan realized Clovis wasn’t joking.
Intimidated, Dylan slowly sat back down. He was genuinely confused because he had no idea what Clovis was talking about.
"What happened to Clara?" Dylan asked.
"Stop playing innocent. I know you’re the one who sent those men to kill her after the wedding," Clovis said.
Dylan’s eyes widened.
He had absolutely no idea what Clovis was talking about.
"Wait... You really didn’t know?" Clovis said calmly.
He immediately understood what had happened.
"That bitch planned everything behind your back."
Clovis pointed the gun at Lucinda when he saw the shock on Dylan’s face.
Dylan immediately looked at Lucinda.
She lowered her head, unable to meet his eyes.
"No, no. I was the one who arranged everything. She had nothing to do with it," Dylan said, trying to take the blame himself to protect the woman he had married only a few months earlier.
"I don’t care who did it. All I know is that the two of you are accomplices, and you dared to try to kill my daughter," Clovis said.
He stood up, walked over to Lucinda, and pointed the gun at her head.
Lucinda was sitting in her wheelchair.
She began crying in terror, while her son suddenly burst into tears, finally realizing how serious the situation was from his mother’s reaction.
"Mr. Turner, don’t do this. I’m the only one who..." Dylan began, getting up from his chair.
But then
BANG!
A bullet struck him in the stomach, and he collapsed onto the floor.
"Please... please don’t kill him. I’m the one who ordered those men to get rid of Clara. Dylan didn’t even know about it," Lucinda said through her sobs, tears streaming down her face as she faced the cruelty of her former father-in-law.
Her son screamed in terror after watching his grandfather shoot his father, even though he had no idea why any of this was happening.
"I told you to sit down," Clovis said coldly as Dylan writhed in pain on the floor.
"Get back in your seat," Clovis ordered.
Despite the blood pouring from his wound, Dylan forced himself to stand and slowly return to his chair.
"Please, we need to call an ambulance," Lucinda begged.
Clovis gave her a chilling look, making her fall silent.
"You know, I don’t enjoy doing this to you because I actually like you, kid," Clovis admitted. "You’re smart, and you’re not afraid to stand up to others. I would have loved to have a son like you."
"But unfortunately for you, you got dragged into this mess because of this bitch," Clovis added.
"Kill me and let my son and my wife live," Dylan pleaded.
"No, no," Lucinda immediately protested.
"Don’t kill us. We’ll give you everything we have. And I’ll tell you where to find the man in charge of the people who attacked Clara."
"You really think I give a damn about your little fortune?" Clovis retorted.
It seemed Lucinda had forgotten that he was a billionaire himself.
"Please. We’ll do whatever you want," Lucinda begged.
She climbed out of her wheelchair and crawled toward Clovis, stopping at his feet.
"Fine," Clovis said.
Two men entered the room.
The man who had kidnapped Dylan helped Lucinda back into her wheelchair, while the other opened a briefcase and pulled out several documents.
"An associate of mine, someone who owes me a favor, is in serious trouble with the law," Clovis explained. "You will sign these documents and take responsibility for the entire affair."
"Understand that the FBI will come looking for you once you sign these papers. But I’ll help all three of you leave the country."
He paused before continuing.
"But I’m warning you. If you ever come back, I won’t be merciful again. And if my daughter doesn’t make it, we’ll be seeing each other much sooner than expected."
Lucinda read through the documents, and her eyes widened when she realized what they contained.
Not only was she agreeing to take responsibility for the criminal case, but another document transferred all of their assets to Clovis including their shares in the company.
She knew exactly what she was giving up.
Everything.
But she signed anyway.
It was the only way she could save her husband, who was already barely conscious after losing so much blood.
Once Lucinda had signed, one of the men helped Dylan sit up and guided his hand across the document, forcing him to sign as well.
Dylan could barely make sense of the endless words and explanations coming from everyone around him. His mind was already clouded by blood loss and exhaustion.
But he saw his wife crying.
He saw his son crying too.
So he didn’t resist.
He simply let them do whatever they wanted.
The moment the final document was signed, Dylan’s eyes rolled back, and he lost consciousness for the second time that night.
--------
When Dylan finally woke up, he was lying inside a private jet.
His upper body was bare, wrapped tightly in a large bandage that covered most of his torso. He had no idea where they were going or where they would end up.
Beside him, Lucinda sat in her wheelchair, crying quietly as she murmured words he couldn’t make out.
Their son stood by the window, staring silently through the small airplane window at the world far below.
Dylan stared at them for a moment.
He wanted to ask where they were going.
He wanted to know what had happened.
He wanted to understand how everything had fallen apart so quickly.
But he was too tired.
Too broken.
He slowly closed his eyes again, surrendering to the exhaustion and despair that had settled deep inside him.
