The Queen had been the strongest of the mutated wasps reaching S+tier with the potential to grow even more powerful at an alarming rate.

Before she did the Queen sent out a communication to all her A ranked soldiers imploring them to get rid of her murderer.

This cursed being was a threat to the mutated wasps and may cause their extinction.

It smelled so fragrant.

Right now the human was defenseless, probably used all of its spirit energy to kill their Queen this would make him an easy target for revenge.

The mutated Yellow Jackets tracked Sly using the unique pheromone scent that the Queen had sprayed on him.

These mutated A- tier pests went unnoticed by Sly who was too busy eating to notice that he was being watched by vengeful predators from the shadows.

If the mutated wasps hadn’t seen the Queen’s vision of her last dying moments on earth, they would never have believed that this innocent, harmless looking young had killed their queen.

He had no weapons on him but he had some unique powerful ability because they had seen a black cloud descend on their Queen and started eating her alive.

Her dying screams as she was devoured still rang in their ears.

The malicious power of that black cloud was filled with so much evil and wicked intent it overwhelmed their Queen with a crippling and paralyzing fear.

Already they were communicating amongst themselves how his body was to be shared amongst them once they defeated him.

To the victor who struck the killing blow would get Sly’s beating heart.

The rest of the wasps could fight over the scraps filled with precious spirit energy; they would surely evolve to the level of S+ and no humans would be able to stand in their way.

They watched as Sly’s face brightened with delight.

Wow, so flavorful and juicy!

After the first bite that gives off a sweet, pleasant, and fruity aroma nothing happened to Sly.

He just stood there chewing and swallowing then occasionally spitting out the seeds of the manchineel fruit.

So he continued picking more of the fruit off the tree, filled his pants pockets to the brim until they could take no more and continued to stuff his face.

Panicked, the wasps wanted to flee from the orchard.

So terrifying!

This was not a human that killed their Queen but a greedy and deadly venomous monster.

Unfortunately for the last of the mutated wasp race their hesitation to flee cost them their lives.

Now that the Queen was dead they had no leader and not being very smart they made stupid mistakes that led to their deaths and were killed by the humans they feared and despised.

Then Sly heard footsteps coming toward him,not knowing if it was a friend not a foe, Sly had to protect his precious fruit at all cost.

He was relieved when he saw a familiar face leading the crippled spirit guardian squad.

Currently their team leader was in a coma after absorbing too much of the Yellow Jackets venom.

When they ran out of antivenom it was their Captain that was willing to ggive his life to save the members of the squad and took the brunt of the damage from the mutated wasps.

They feared he would not make it before an ambulance could rush the team leader to Paradise Campus Hospital for emergency treatment.

The arrival of Verde and the spirit guardian squad contrasted the seriousness of the situation.

All of them appeared looking disheveled, spirit energy depleted, clothes burnt or shredded.

While skin was mottled,filled with cuts, bruises and swellings from their battle with the mutated wasps.

They had all thought Sly would have died when the Queen went after him.

Someone must have saved him but why did they leave Sly behind?

Sly was an untrained B-tier omega guide with a useless spirit plant; there was no way he could defeat an S+ tier mutated spirit beast that was evolving at a radical pace.

Impossible!

On the other hand, Sly looked like he was going for a stroll in a friendly, neighborhood park, his clothes still remarkably intact and his aura was composed.

Verde and his spirit beast quickly dispatched the remainder of the mutated Yellow Jackets that had trailed after Sly for revenge after their beloved Queen died.

Both hands filled with the precious fruit Sly was going to offer his mentor some.

Verde suddenly ran up to him while using a gloved hand to knock the poisonous fruit out of both his hands while screaming, "don’t eat that! Spit it out now!"

Confused, Shy said puzzled, "okay."

He didn’t understand why Verde was being so harsh with him.

Maybe it was because he picked the fruit without asking for permission?

His eyes almost filled with tears at the thought of all these delicious fruit going to waste.

Sly tried to feel guilty since it was Verde who brought him here and he was stealing from his uncle’s place.

Still Verde didn’t know he had more in his pockets so what Verde didn’t know couldn’t hurt him.

Seeing Sly’s eyes that looked innocent and clear, start to be filled with water, Verde felt like head been too blunt with the little omega and didn’t want to see him cry.

"Sorry for stealing the fruits, there were so many I didn’t think anyone would care to notice if I ate a few," stated Sly.

Verde wanted to smack himself a few times.

It was his fault that Sly got involved with this mess.

How was he supposed to know that the day he carried Sly to his uncle’s lab the mutated wasps would escape and multiply quickly, what a nightmare.

Thanks to Sly’s poison resistance it was saving his life but Verde didn’t know what level Sly’s reached supposed the poison from the manchineel fruit overpowered his resistance, what then?

Verde took out a blue case, in it was an expensive tiny detoxification pill.

A treasured gift from his uncle who headed the Paradise Scientific Research Institute.

It hadn’t even hit the market yet and would be worth a large sum of money if sold to the public at an auction.

He was saving it for a rainy day but to give it to Sly’s life was worth the sacrifice.

"Those fruits are poisonous. You could go into apoplectic shock and go into cardiac arrest soon leading to brain damage or even a painful death. Quickly swallow this pill."
