“I remember you can steal memories, right?”

Loren thought of another use. Scarlett had fainted from the strain of stolen memories when she first met him.

“I guess so. I haven’t used it much, though. I only steal memories about myself, and basically only the moment someone sees me.”

“Try shoving your own memories into someone else. Directly break their brain.”

It was impossible to expect Scarlett to figure out anything on her own, so Loren had to teach her personally.

“Th-this… how do I do it?”

“First, try stuffing as many memories into me as you can.”

“I’ll try…”

Scarlett stared into Loren’s eyes and started exerting herself. Eventually, her face flushed red from the effort.

Loren didn’t understand why she was straining so hard. Using her Arcane Ability wasn’t like taking a dump, but he ultimately didn’t interrupt her.

After witnessing Scarlett’s tireless struggle, she finally managed to transmit something to Loren:

“Wanna get investigated hard.”

That was all Loren received. The sentence appeared in his mind out of nowhere. It felt less like being fed a memory and more like Scarlett was speaking to him telepathically.

“I tried my best…”

Scarlett collapsed to the ground. Using her Arcane Ability didn’t consume much energy; she was tired from thinking too hard.

“Expecting you to do anything is still too much…”

Loren stroked Scarlett’s hair and let it go.

“Forget it. You can’t stuff in complex stuff. But you can stuff in simple stuff, right?”

Loren remembered that Scarlett had easily succeeded when she tried to give him the Stockings. If she could give Stockings, she could also give bombs.

So Loren could completely make some bombs for Scarlett, have her stuff them into someone’s clothes on the spot, and then detonate them.

“Of course I can.”

Scarlett nodded.

“Good. Try stuffing this into someone else.”

As he spoke, Loren handed Scarlett a handful of Spirit Thought Rings. These were samples he had conveniently taken earlier.

Spirit Thought Rings were also equivalent to bombs. If she could stuff Spirit Thought Rings, then she could definitely stuff other bombs.

“I’ll try…”

Scarlett took the rings, and in the next instant, the rings vanished from her hand before silently appearing inside Loren’s coat pocket.

“Good. Very impressive.”

Loren stroked Scarlett’s hair, and she wore a happy expression. She rarely got praised by Loren, and it had only happened a few times in total.

“Alright. I’m going to find Paqina now. We’ll research a special bomb just for you.”

The Spirit Thought Ring’s power was actually sufficient. It would be easy to assassinate ordinary Mages with it, but Loren felt it wasn’t enough. The enemies they would face in the future were far beyond that.

Loren figured they needed at least the ability to instantly kill a Ninth-tier mage. If it were purely about destructive power, that was simple.

Spirit Thought Rings needed to retain their effect as accessories. The explosives at Loren’s waist were mainly area-of-effect. Strictly speaking, their lethality wasn’t enough.

Soon, Loren entered the laboratory with Paqina. Having another opportunity to research with Loren made Paqina very happy.

“Remember, the thing we’re researching this time is for Scarlett. So, it has to be simple…”

Before starting, Loren emphasized this point. With Scarlett’s intelligence, anything even slightly complex would be beyond her.

Take the Spirit Thought Ring, for example. It required Loren to construct a pre-designed magic circuit to activate it. The advantage was that it was quick to activate, precise, and didn’t require carrying extra items.

The downside was that it was complicated. Even Paqina had taken some time to learn it. There was no way Scarlett could manage it.

“Understood…”

Paqina nodded. After spending so much time together, she knew about Scarlett’s situation. She just had to treat her like a certain disadvantaged group.

Being able to feed herself counted as a success.

Since what they needed to make this time was simple, Loren and Paqina finished it in just one afternoon. They also prepared the activation device. Expecting Scarlett to activate it with magic was out of the question.

“Scarlett, your item is ready.”

When Loren came out, he was carrying a large basket of small spheres.

Under Scarlett’s confused gaze, Loren explained the detailed effects to her:

“The outside of this small ball is sticky. Even if someone gets an early warning before the explosion, they can’t remove it quickly.

“The small ball is also filled with a lot of Steel Pellets. These Steel Pellets are coated with poison and have also been infused with some Abundant Magic. The moment they touch blood, they will poison the target while also draining their life force.

“As for the explosion itself, its power is extremely strong. It can probably blow up a Magical Beast into pieces. Let alone against ordinary people.”

With such a combo, even a Ninth-tier mage wouldn’t be able to withstand it. Therefore, these bombs were extremely expensive to make. Each bomb cost as much as a high-tier accessory.

However, for Loren as he was now, this was nothing. Not to mention his savings, it was just a drop in the bucket compared to the money William had sent before.

“The activation device is this ring. Just press the gemstone on top to trigger it.

“This ring will instantly detonate all the bombs, so you don’t have to bother aiming.”

Loren had made the activation device into a ring. It was discreet and convenient, even more user-friendly than a wheelchair. Even Scarlett could use it.

“Ooh…”

Seeing the ring made Scarlett exceptionally excited. She cared more about this ring than the equipment itself.

The ring was entirely gold, with a diamond on top, just like a wedding ring.

Just as her hand was about to touch the ring, Loren suddenly pulled his hand back:

“First, put the bombs into your storage space. I’m afraid you’ll accidentally press the activation device. Do you want our home blown up or not?”

“Oh, oh…”

Scarlett responded and began storing the bombs into her space.

This ring was tailor-made for Scarlett. Although it would detonate all the bombs, Scarlett would usually only take one out. The rest of the bombs were in her storage space and wouldn’t be affected.

After putting away the bombs, Scarlett contentedly put on the ring and started staring at the ring on her ring finger, grinning foolishly.

“Alright, pack up. Get ready for dinner. We’ll experiment when we have time.”

“Yes…”

Scarlett replied but didn’t react much. She stared at the ring, and drool had already started dripping from her mouth. It wasn’t until Loren tapped her on the head that she snapped out of it.

“Sigh…”

Loren let out a sigh. Scarlett’s sexual appeal was completely maxed out in the wrong direction. Among all the Witches, she was arguably the most beautiful, but she was far too prone to being foolish, even drooling at the drop of a hat.

But damn, she really was beautiful…

Even during dinner, Scarlett kept staring at her ring and grinning foolishly. The others also noticed Scarlett’s ring. Naclis lowered her head and focused on eating, refusing to look at Scarlett’s finger.

“I want a ring too, Daddy…”

Reflection Naclis directly hugged Loren’s arm and started acting spoiled.
