Two items remained, aside from the various unremarkable ingredients he’d acquired, such as pieces of Seal Crawler corpses: the Unique ranked [Vial of Spring’s Tears] and the Common ranked [Stone Throne].

[Vial of Spring’s Tears] - [Where Spring weeps, rivers of hope are born.]

[Vial of Spring’s Tears] fell under the consumable category. It was a small, sealed glass tube containing a mere splash of liquid.

As with the [Scrawler’s Eye], he hadn’t been able to see what it did... at least, not until he equipped [Glasses of Knowledge] and activated [Assessment] while examining it.

A supplementary — and far more practical — description appeared, its words sounding in his mind.

[Vial of Spring’s Tears] - [No matter how grave the wound, anything doused in Spring’s Tears shall be healed.]

’I love these glasses already.’

While Ash didn’t entirely understand the concept of love Cross had alluded to in regards to another person, he certainly understood love for useful items!

Last, and most certainly least, was the [Stone Throne].

It was his first and only Utility-class item he’d earned.

As the name suggested, it was a black stone throne resembling the one Cross had summoned multiple times, except it seemed formed from the environmental stone of the seal rather than the gray stone Cross produced.

He had no idea what he’d do with such a thing, but damn if he wasn’t going to sit on it occasionally as a reminder of the bastard who’d taken an arm and a leg from him before sending him plummeting into nothingness.

With the items covered, Ash moved on to [Dragonkin Champion] and [Focus].

First, he summoned his status. His current stats were enhanced by [Spire Serpent’s Skin], which he’d equipped in exchange for the pelt; [Crown of the Defeated], which gave +3 to all stats; the more comfortable [Scrawler’s Crawlers]; and [Sealed Fate], which he’d summoned solely to see the (almost) strongest stat combination currently available to him.

’If only Trinkets gave flat stats...’

Sadly, that was a rare occurrence.

Still, he was already overgeared. The additional stats from an Ultra Rare or higher-ranked item would simply be excessive, so he had no right to complain.

’Wow...’

Judging by the benchmark he’d established when first under the effects of Winter’s Blessing, it was almost frightening how much stronger he’d become.

Especially his Agility.

Every class distributed fifteen stat points differently, and the Archer class allocated five of them to Agility every level. Combined with his item bonuses, those added points would push his speed beyond merely inhuman as he leveled.

He could already easily dust a regular cheetah or panther...

Furthermore...

"I’ve triggered [Scale Armor]."

His items should have given him only +15 AGI, yet he was receiving +16. That meant [Scale Armor]’s 2% stat buff was adding the final point. Although the result must have been rounded up, as 2% of 39 wasn’t ’1’, but ’0.78’.

In any case, Ash turned his attention to [Dragonkin Champion].

The same description appeared as before, but he could instinctively sense that its effects had expanded.

It still granted a 10% EXP bonus to all party members and +3 to all stats within the Totem’s radius, but it now also gave Ash +50% Fire Resistance and granted both him and his party members +5% maximum Mana.

’I see...’

’So, it is a title worthy of being the Champion.’

It could consume the effects of other titles and evolve, though Ash wasn’t sure whether it retained the full level and potency of those it consumed.

Finally... [Focus].

Ash smiled as he considered its new and improved effects.

Activating it still cost 2% of his maximum Mana, but its capabilities were leaps and bounds better.

He could now toggle it off before its full duration expired. For Ash and his glitch, that alone was insane.

’It now also lasts up to fifteen seconds.’

Obviously, the skill hadn’t been designed with him in mind. Its true purpose was the cooldown refund: the more unused duration remaining when [Focus] ended, the more of its cooldown was refunded.

The only tradeoff was that its maximum cooldown had increased to ninety seconds.

However, using [Focus] for only one second would leave him with a twelve-second cooldown. Each additional second added another twelve seconds until the cooldown capped at ninety — twice the six-second increments obtained by dividing ninety evenly across fifteen seconds.

By that calculation...

If he used it for five seconds, he’d have a sixty-second cooldown, just like with the first iteration of [Focus].

’Glorious...’

Ash felt it was no exaggeration to call himself the strongest among everyone summoned from Earth, regardless of his glitch. Even with little evidence to support the claim, he wouldn’t take it back.

’Two more weeks until the rest come...’

Ash’s expression darkened.

One particular individual was highly likely to be drawn to this world... assuming he hadn’t arrived already.

Standing, Ash examined his tail and arm, both of which had already made considerable progress in regrowing under the effects of [Embers of May].

’I guess I shouldn’t dawdle any longer.’

It was high time he selected his two professions. Noncombat disciplines he could train in.

He summoned the two consumable tomes.

[You have equipped [Tome of Fundamentals: Primary Trade Selection]]

[You have equipped [Tome of Fundamentals: Secondary Trade Selection]]

The options ranged from Inscription to Engineering to Enchanting to Alchemy, each page accompanied by a small icon that helped him decipher what the trade it held was. Some seemed centered on infrastructure or gathering; others on creating consumables and utility items.

Then, on the very last page, he found a unique special trade that depicted a king’s fool instead of a usual icon.

’Jack of all trades, huh?’

There was surely a catch, likely tied to the ’master of none’ half of the cliché. But for Ash, who sought control over as many factors as possible, the choice was easy: he would take the path that allowed him to learn and understand the most. Knowledge was power, after all, and grasping the fundamentals of every trade would offer him insight into the principles beneath the mastery of all.

He tore out the fool’s page.

[You have chosen the Jack of All Trades Trade!]

The tome disappeared.

However...

The tome lying beside him soon vanished as well.

[[Tome of Fundamentals: Secondary Trade Selection] has been destroyed]

’Ah... damn.’

’I thought I’d at least be able to pick one to focus on.’

He’d planned to choose Fletcher...

’So much for that.’

With that finished, the world gave him no time to rest.

[You are being summoned back to Arcadia! Good luck!]

He was expelled from the Fold of Existence.
