Wasting none of this power, Su Zhou silently continued to swing the Blade of Annihilation. As he carved through the flesh, he used the Divine Blade’s might to slay the fragments of Soul bound to this part of the Water God’s body. Simultaneously, he circulated his Cultivation Technique, absorbing the Spiritual Power from the Water God’s Flesh and Blood.

The grayish-white Dragon Scales on Su Zhou’s body, where they touched the Divine Blood, were already growing tougher and more resilient, strengthened by the constant surge of Spiritual Power. Their very essence was even beginning to show faint signs of a metamorphosis.

But no matter how frantically Su Zhou wreaked havoc, he was still confined to the Giant Whale’s muscle layer. In the short term, he had no way of damaging its internal organs, much less taking the Water God’s life. If the Water God recovered from its severe injuries and realized the excruciating pain inside its body wasn’t just from the Elemental Array, it would quickly counterattack and expel him!

’I have to cause even greater destruction before I’m thrown out!’

And so, without the slightest hesitation, Su Zhou opened his mouth, bared his snow-white teeth, and bit into the Water God’s surrounding flesh!

CRUNCH. The grating sound of teeth against flesh was as piercing as chewing on metal. Su Zhou took a large bite, chewing and swallowing the God’s flesh, then began Refining Essence and Transforming Qi. The Five Extremes Divine Thunder True Technique activated, and immense Spiritual Qi erupted from the Heart of the Thunder Marsh. It transformed into dancing arcs of electricity that, along with the Gale Wind from his Gale Seed, gathered in his mouth.

BOOM!

A searing cyan beam of Thunder Light shot out. Su Zhou had unleashed a violent Thunderbolt Breath, instantly incinerating a large patch of flesh before him into charred ash and blasting open a path deeper into the Giant Whale’s body!

"—WAAAAAAH!!!"

Feeling another searing pain erupt from within, the Water God couldn’t help but let out another agonized shriek. It snapped out of the daze caused by the successive heavy blows and sensed the looming threat of death!

Meanwhile, Su Zhou had already reached the depths of the Water God’s body.

This was a vast cavern of flesh, a full eighty meters long and wide, where immense Spiritual Power flowed as if it had become tangible, emitting a roar like the tides.

The Water God’s light-blue Divine Blood pulsed with the chamber’s contractions and expansions, flowing through countless vessels in every direction to all parts of its body. This allowed the behemoth to channel its immense energy and execute agile movements and attacks.

At the center of this fleshy cavern was a massive, deep-blue vortex of blood. Su Zhou could tell with a single glance that this was the Giant Whale’s Spiritualized heart!

This bizarrely shaped vortex-heart was the Water God’s core energy source. It contained an immeasurably vast amount of energy. An endless stream of Spiritual Power erupted from its depths, only to be contained by the swirling Spiritual Blood.

The vortex’s light was profound, and the brilliance shining from its core was as impossible to look at directly as the sun. Su Zhou could even feel faint traces of what could only be described as ’radiation’ emanating from the deep-blue vortex of blood!

’A nuclear reaction?! At its peak, could this Giant Beast really have used nuclear reactions to generate energy?’

On second thought, it wasn’t that strange. After all, seawater was rich in nuclear materials. Given that the Water God possessed Overlord Tier strength at its peak, it was perfectly normal for its heart—the Giant Beast’s power source—to be a natural, Spiritual-Power-fueled nuclear reactor.

Of course, all these observations and thoughts flashed through Su Zhou’s mind in an instant.

His expression didn’t show the slightest hint of surprise. The very next moment he arrived in the chamber, Su Zhou decisively raised the Divine Blade. A mixture of golden-red firelight and violet-cyan Spiritual Power condensed around the Blade of Annihilation, forming a translucent, ten-meter-long blade of Spirit Flame.

’I see it!’

The mental enhancement from the Wisdom Fruit gave Su Zhou incredible clarity of thought. The moment he laid eyes on the Heart of the Divine Whale, a complete picture of the Spiritual Qi Organ—its size, shape, structure, energy cycle, and very essence—materialized in his mind. In the split second before he swung his blade, he had already perceived every single one of the Water God’s heart’s weaknesses!

And so, he struck.

BOOM! The force of Su Zhou’s swing stirred the blood in the chamber into a turbulent current. The condensed blade of Spirit Flame shot forth from the Blade of Annihilation, detaching from the Divine Blade itself. The energy slash formed a semicircular arc of light, hurtling toward the heart with an incredibly sharp aura and devastating power.

"WAAAAAH!!!"

But this was, after all, inside the Giant Whale’s body. The Water God was not about to do nothing.

A massive stress response to the mortal threat caused the Deity to unleash an unprecedented burst of power.

The very instant Su Zhou’s arcing blade took form, a vast wave of Spiritual Power, like a surging tide, erupted from the Giant Whale’s core.

This terrifying energy instantly neutralized Su Zhou’s attack. Then, like a whale shooting water from its blowhole, the Water God’s raging Magic Power mixed with its blood, creating a massive propulsive force. An irresistible blast shot Su Zhou out of its body, along with all the shredded, unhealing chunks of its own flesh.

Once again, a massive cloud of light-blue blood erupted between heaven and earth, causing the surrounding Spiritual Qi to grow even denser.

Ejected from the beast’s body, Su Zhou tumbled several times in mid-air before using the Gale Armor Power to steady himself. The blood-soaked young man showed no sign of disappointment at his failed surprise attack. Instead, he remained expressionless, looking down at the Giant Whale as it thrashed and roared in the sea below.
