The first love is unforgettable; perhaps Mr. Ford hasn’t let go of it, and the strong-willed Mrs. Ford would never accept that!
"Don’t you care about their issues?"
Finn Chandler asked in confusion, wondering how a son could remain so calm while witnessing his parents argue.
"My mom has said that their marital issues have nothing to do with me."
"No matter what changes, I am always their son, and even more so, Mr. Ford."
Julian Ford said with a smile.
Mr. Ford and Mrs. Ford might not be deeply in love, but Mrs. Ford’s education of Julian Ford was remarkably successful.
Listening to this, Finn Chandler found it very reasonable and admired Mrs. Ford even more, whether it be in business or the education of her son; she was truly successful.
"I did hit Fiona Ford today."
After some thought, Finn Chandler decided to confess the incident to Julian Ford.
She didn’t want Fiona Ford to subtly inform Julian like she did with Mr. Ford.
"Oh."
Julian Ford smiled and bent down to kiss Finn Chandler on the cheek, then elegantly took a seat in front of her.
Busy with matters of The Ford Corporation, he was famished.
Finn Chandler observed Julian Ford’s reaction, which was completely different from Mr. Ford’s.
"Didn’t she call you?"
"She did."
Julian Ford replied while eating.
The Ford Family’s rule was to not speak while eating, but when with Finn Chandler, Julian Ford liked to hear her talk.
"Hmm?"
Finn Chandler was puzzled.
"I was busy with a meeting and didn’t answer."
Julian Ford said as he pulled out his phone and called Fiona Ford back, putting it on speaker.
The call was quickly connected, and Fiona Ford’s voice came through.
"Julian."
Over the phone, Fiona Ford’s voice carried a hint of grievance, sounding as if she had cried for a long time.
Previously, Fiona Ford must have used this tone when talking to Mr. Ford.
She didn’t say much, but it would naturally prompt others to ask what was wrong. Her insistence on not speaking made them even more curious about what had happened.
"What’s the matter?"
Julian Ford asked, following Fiona Ford’s words.
"Nothing!"
"After spending so many years at The Ford Family, leaving suddenly feels very uncomfortable."
"Oh."
Julian Ford replied lightly, "I heard from my dad that Finn Chandler hit you."
"That’s not true."
Fiona Ford actually denied it, making Finn Chandler puzzled; she didn’t understand why Fiona didn’t report it.
"It really has nothing to do with Finn Chandler."
After speaking, Fiona Ford added, "Julian, I don’t want to ruin your relationship."
"She misunderstood our relationship, so..."
At this point, Fiona Ford’s tone noticeably softened, and a faint sobbing could be heard.
Alright, Fiona Ford first denied and then complained, skillfully stirring a man’s anger.
Finn Chandler turned her head to look at Julian Ford; he noticed and gave her a smile, holding her hand warmly in his palm.
A man’s palm was particularly warm, instantly easing Finn Chandler’s discomfort.
"Julian, please don’t argue with Finn Chandler."
Perhaps not hearing Julian Ford’s response, Fiona Ford became anxious.
"She hit me out of a moment of anger."
Just now, she said, "That’s not true," but a few moments later, Fiona Ford changed her words.
"I understand."
Julian Ford replied in a calm voice.
"Julian, we’ve grown up together. Although I’m a few months older, I really only have sisterly feelings for you."
"I know."
After Fiona Ford finished speaking, Julian Ford immediately followed up.
"I’ve always been aware of my sister’s thoughts, and I certainly have no other intentions towards you."
