"You kid!"

Mr. Ford was angry when he realized Finn Chandler still had this attitude after he had talked for so long.

"She asked you to come and get my opinion, hoping I would speak on her behalf."

"But I’m sorry, from my own standpoint, I don’t want Fiona Ford to come back."

"Even if she says she found a boyfriend outside, I don’t believe she’s changed."

Fiona Ford left Solaria just over two months ago. She claims to have let go of her feelings for Julian Ford. After analyzing over and over, Finn Chandler still deemed it impossible.

"She has already let go."

Mr. Ford sounded firm, his gaze towards Finn growing colder.

How could Finn Chandler be like Mrs. Ford, both women with hearts of stone!

"That’s what she said herself!"

Finn Chandler said contemptuously, "Only you, Dad, would believe that."

If that weren’t the case, Fiona Ford wouldn’t have sent Mr. Ford to ask her, rather than going to Mrs. Ford and Julian Ford herself.

The two of them are astute, able to discern a person’s true colors.

"Fiona Ford grew up in the Ford Family, always aware she wasn’t part of the family, and merely siblings with Julian in name."

"Everything she has at the Ford Family, she yearns to secure. Maybe she really did develop feelings for Julian. Such thoughts don’t form in just a few days or months."

"She probably liked Julian for many years!"

Finn Chandler smiled at Mr. Ford as she spoke, "Dad, do you really think someone who’s liked Julian for so many years can truly let go within two months?"

"If she really let go, she wouldn’t be in a hurry to come back."

Someone utterly heartbroken in love would seek healing elsewhere. How would they return to watch the person they love flaunt affection with another woman?

Analyzing logically, Finn Chandler absolutely didn’t believe Fiona Ford had let go of Julian Ford.

"This talk of letting go or not letting go, I don’t understand."

Mr. Ford wanted Finn Chandler to agree, not listen to her say all that nonsense.

Besides, one dominant woman in the Ford Family is enough; how could this Finn Chandler dare not listen to him?

"Just answer, should Fiona come back or not!"

"If she wants to come back, I have no objection!"

Upon hearing Finn Chandler’s response, Mr. Ford smiled. That seemed reasonable.

"But, as for helping by pleading with mom or Julian, I can’t do it."

She’s not dumb; why would she invite a rival back?

Indeed, if she truly returns, taking care of little Bao is tiring enough without having to guard against Fiona Ford. Just thinking about it is exhausting.

"You!"

Mr. Ford was so angered by Finn Chandler’s hard stance he nearly burst. Coming all the way here and speaking kindly for so long didn’t sway her at all.

"I really don’t understand. Julian’s heart isn’t with Fiona; why are you so cautious of her?"

"What’s there to be afraid of? As long as Julian loves you, isn’t that enough?"

As Mr. Ford spoke, he recalled his own situation, and by the end, his tone was full of sarcasm.

"This matter is settled then."

His voice grew even colder, "Have Julian call Fiona back."

Finn Chandler smiled helplessly. Mr. Ford was trying to squeeze the easy target, unable to manage Mrs. Ford and Julian, he turned to her.

"Alright!"

Mr. Ford assumed Finn Chandler wouldn’t agree, ready to press her with his authority as father-in-law.

However, Finn Chandler thought for a moment and agreed.

"Then hurry up and talk to them."

Seeing Finn Chandler agree, Mr. Ford couldn’t remain stern, his tone eased, and then he turned and left.
