Lynx casually hooked his finger under James’s wrist, lifted the entire six foot tall Year 4 senior into the air using only that single finger, and carelessly tossed him backward.

James flew through the air and crashed directly on top of the recovering Mars. The two Year 4 elites collided in a pathetic heap at the base of the cracked pillar, groaning in sheer agony as their bones creaked under the physical force.

Silence fell over the Main Hall once again. A heavy, terrifying silence.

Not a single student uttered a word. They knew Lynx was strong—they had seen him withstand Professor Henry Aura—but this was not a fight.

This was absolute, effortless domination. Lynx hadn’t moved a single inch from his original standing position.

He had defeated two of the Year 4 top students, neutralized an elemental attack, and shattered a marble pillar using a single hand and one finger.

The surrounding Year 3 and Year 4 seniors who had previously held quiet thoughts of testing Lynx in the future instantly discarded those ideas.

Their faces were pale, their palms sweating as they realized the terrifying reality of the monster standing among them.

Back in the Year 2 side, Peter Musk stood completely frozen. His jaw was slack, his pupils dilated in horror.

Lynx had gotten stronger. In the short time since their last encounter, Lynx’s power had scaled to a level that defied all logic.

Worse yet, Peter could feel that his twin sister, Ava, had also grown significantly stronger, her lightning aura far denser than before.

Peter’s fists clenched until his nails dug into his skin, drawing tiny droplets of blood.

He knew, with absolute certainty, that if he ever challenged Lynx to a duel, he would be slaughtered like a meaningless bug. The realization didn’t quell his hatred, it twisted it into a deeper, sickening obsession.

Lynx slowly turned his gaze back toward Julian. He completely ignored the wide, terrified eyes of the surrounding crowd.

Beside him, Kira, Lira, and Ava weren’t showing a single drop of surprise. They simply smiled, stepping closer to his side as if Lynx tossing seniors across a hall was the most natural thing in the world.

Julian stared back at Lynx. He didn’t speak. He didn’t move an inch. His hands were tucked tightly behind his back, his knuckles white as he fought to maintain his regal posture, completely paralyzed by the raw gap in physical power.

Lynx’s eyes shifted slightly toward the last standing escort in Julian’s group. Kol Mikel had remained standing three paces back the entire time.

He hadn’t move an inch, he hadn’t hurled insults, and he hadn’t moved to attack. He had simply watched Lynx with sharp, analytical eyes.

Smart guy, Lynx thought to himself, approving of Kol’s survival instincts.

Lynx looked back at Julian one last time, a lazy, mocking smile touching his lips. He didn’t bother wasting another word on the frozen King.

Turning on his heel, Lynx gestured for his girls to follow. It was almost one o’clock, and wasting any more time in this hall was a pointless distraction.

As Lynx, Kira, Ava, and Lira walked toward the heavy double doors, the crowd of students scrambled to push themselves flat against the walls, creating a wide, unobstructed path for them to exit.

Near the front, Nadia Goldspire turned her head toward Eleanor, her voice stuttering slightly as she tried to compose herself.

"Eleanor... did you... did you see that? Not only did he stand completely fine under Professor Rose and Professor Henry’s combined pressure... he just threw Mars and James using a single finger!"

Eleanor slowly nodded, her purple hair swaying gently over her shoulders. "I saw it, Nadia," she replied softly, her purple eyes tracking Lynx’s broad back as he pushed open the heavy doors.

Iris Nightglow leaned in, her voice a hushed whisper. "I am never, under any circumstances, getting on his bad side. That guy isn’t human."

Rhea Dawnwhisper nodded rapidly in agreement, her cheeks slightly flushed from the display of absolute dominance.

Layla Solara remained quiet, her sharp eyes fixed on the empty doorway Lynx had just walked through.

"We need to move," Layla said calmly, breaking the spell over their group. "It’s almost one o’clock. If we are late to the camp near the forest, Professor Rose will tear us apart regardless of our status."

Eleanor nodded, and the five Year 4 elite girls turned, walking out of the hall with refined, graceful strides.

With the Queen’s departure, the remaining forty students began trickling out of the hall in hushed, anxious groups.

Even Peter Musk slipped away through the side exit, his head bowed, his bloodthirsty eyes burning with quiet malice.

Soon, only Julian, Kol, Mars, and James were left standing near the cracked pillar.

Kol walked over to the groaners, helping Mars and James drag themselves back up to their feet.

Mars was clutching his ribs, his breath ragged, while James was rubbing his wrist, his lightning affinity on his hands were still fluctuating wildly from the shock.

Once they were upright, Kol walked back over to Julian, his face entirely calm.

"We need to head to the camp, Julian," Kol said quietly.

Julian turned his head slowly, his ice-blue eyes burning with a dark, terrifying rage. He looked like he wanted to strike Kol for even speaking.

Kol didn’t flinch. He let out a quiet sigh and stepped closer to his leader. "I know you’re furious, Julian. But look at what just happened. Look at Mars and James.

Lynx threw Mars like a child without using his affinity, just raw strength, and he completely neutralized James’s lightning using one finger. Fighting him directly in a duel or a brawl is complete suicide."

Mars spat a mouth of bloody saliva onto the stone floor, his face twisted in humiliation.

"So what? We just let him walk all over us?"

"No," Kol replied smoothly, a cold, calculating glint passing through his eyes. "We don’t fight him ourselves. We kill him."

Julian’s eyes narrowed slightly. "Kill him how? Speak clearly."

"We are heading directly into the Restricted Area inside the forest," Kol explained, his voice dropping into a whisper.

"Professor Rose is probably going to split us into small teams. Once we cross the barrier and enter the Restricted Area, we find whichever team Lynx is assigned to. We don’t attack him directly. We lure beasts to his position. And they do the job."

James wiped his bleeding lip, frowning. "Lure beasts? The guy is a monster, Kol. What good will beasts do?"

"A beast is still a wild, relentless killer," Kol argued, his tone filled with absolute conviction.

"We aren’t talking about low level trash. We’re talking about Level 4 and Level 5 beasts. If we swarm his location with multiple high-tier monsters simultaneously, even Lynx will be overwhelmed while trying to protect those Year 2 girls clinging to his arms.

Once he breaks, the beasts will finish the job for us. And the Professors will just assume his team got caught in a unlucky horde ambush."

Julian stared at Kol for several long seconds. Slowly, the dark rage on Julian’s face melted away, replaced by a cruel, satisfied smirk. He reached out and clapped his hand heavily onto Kol’s shoulder.

"You absolute genius," Julian chuckled, his voice dripping with malice. "That is brilliant. A tragic training accident in the Restricted Area."

Mars and James grinned darkly, their bruised bodies instantly feeling lighter at the prospect of brutal revenge.

With their plan locked in, the four Year 4 elites straightened their uniforms and turned toward the exit, heading out toward the camp near the forest.

——

Outside, the path leading toward the dense, treeline of the Academy Forest was paved with smooth white stone.

Lynx walked at a relaxed pace, his hands in his pockets, flanked by Kira, Lira, and Ava.

A short distance behind them walked Eleanor Haleborn and her four escorts, followed by the rest of the chosen fifty representatives.

Ava wrapped her arm around Lynx’s, resting her cheek gently against his shoulder as they walked. "Julian and his friends are absolute scum," she muttered, her voice filled with disgust. "I wish you had broken Mars’s arm off."

"I hated them the moment they opened their mouths," Lira added, her green eyes flashing with annoyance.

"They act like they own the academy just because they are ’The Academy King and Friends.’ Lynx made them look like absolute fools."

Lynx laughed softly, reaching down to pat Lira’s head gently. "Don’t waste your energy on them. Small dogs always bark the loudest because they know they can’t bite."

Ava pulled out her phone, dialing a number. Within two seconds, the screen lit up, revealing Eira Andreas sitting on a velvet couch in their dorm room, with Emily sitting right beside her sipping tea.

"Ava!" Eira called out through the speaker, her dark eyes lighting up. "How did the meeting go? Is Lynx as amazing as usual?. What did he do this time?"

Ava burst into laughter, quickly briefing Eira and Emily on everything that had just transpired in the Main Hall.

From Lynx standing unfazed under the Professor’s pressure to him tossing two Year 4 seniors across the room with a single finger.

On the other side of the screen, Eira and Emily were practically rolling on the couch with laughter. "I wish I was there to see Mars crash into the pillar." Eira squealed through the speaker, her laughter ringing out across the quiet path.

Suddenly, a quiet, unfamiliar female voice echoed from right beside Ava’s shoulder. "You know, using phones while marching toward the Academy Camps and Forest and is technically a violation of the rules. You don’t use phones along the way."

Ava, Kira, and Lira instantly jumped, gasping softly as they spun around. A girl was walking right alongside them, her footsteps completely silent. None of them had sensed her approach.

Through the screen, Eira blinked in awe as she stared at the newcomer’s face. "Woah... okay, whoever you are, that entrance was incredibly cool.

And honestly... if I were a guy, I would have pinned you against a wall by now. You are way too gorgeous to be walking around unsupervised."

The girl blinked in mild surprise, a subtle blush dusting her cheeks.

Emily quickly reached over on the screen, slapping Eira’s arm playfully. "Ignore her, she’s crazy. Good luck at the camp, guys. Stay safe Lynx." With a quick wave, Emily ended the call.

Ava, Kira and Lira were staring at the new girl now. Kira was a little bit wary.

Lynx turned his head, his eyes taking in the stunning newcomer.

And she was smooking hot.
