My All Powerful System

Chapter 129: Inside the Restricted Area II

In another side of the area, in the dense swamp sector to the west, Team 2 was struggling significantly.

Julian Frostborne smashed a Level 4 Mud Golem into frozen fragments using his Frostfire Heart blessing, his face flushed with exertion.

Behind him, Mars and James were panting heavily, their uniforms stained with dirt and beast blood.

They had already consumed both of their restoration potions after getting surprised by a pack of Level 3 Acid Toads.

Peter Musk stood near the back, his blue uniform messy, his teeth gritted in frustration as he cast heavy ice strikes to keep smaller beasts at bay.

Kol Mikel landed beside Julian, wiping green slime from his arm. "Julian... we can’t move to locate Lynx’s team right now. The beast density in this place is too high. If we try to pull a pack while we’re this fatigued, we’ll get overrun ourselves."

Julian punched a nearby wooden stump in sheer rage, splintering the trunk. "Dammit! That bastard is probably resting comfortably while we’re stuck grinding through trash!"

.....

Back at the main camp, the atmosphere was completely silent.

Professor Rose, Professor Henry, and Professor Dominic stood pinned before the massive magical projection screen, their eyes wide as they stared directly at the real time visual feed belonging to Team 3.

On the screen, Lynx was currently walking through a clear clearing surrounded by the shattered, burning remains of six level 4-5 beasts.

"Is... is he really doing that bare-handed?" Professor Dominic muttered, his voice trembling in genuine disbelief.

"He just tore open the jaw of a Level 4 Shadow Panther using raw physical strength... without using his affinity."

Professor Henry’s broad jaw was completely slack. He stared at Lynx’s unblemished uniform, then down at the damage metrics hovering beside Lynx’s name.

They didn’t tell the students that the ring on their finger, can measure the health bar and mana points of each of them.

But for Lynx, it didn’t really give a clear score. The ring isn’t really a high tier artifact. And this also means that Lynx health bar and mana points is absurd.

"His physical skin density and baseline strength are absurd," Henry whispered, a cold sweat breaking out on the back of his neck as he remembered trying to crush Lynx with his aura in the Main Hall.

"If... if he had fought back against me earlier... he could have broken my arm."

Rose stood beside them, her arms folded tightly beneath her chest. A small, proud smile flickered across her fiery lips, though she quickly masked it with her stern professional composure.

"I told you all during the meeting," Rose said quietly, her voice filled with absolute conviction.

"Lynx Azarion is not a normal Blessed. He is exceptional. With him leading our roster, the other three empires. Void, Heather, and Bacon won’t stand a chance in the Grand Blessed Tournament. He is our absolute victory condition."

Henry slowly nodded, his previous arrogance entirely erased. "You’re right... he isn’t just a prodigy. He’s a monster walking among us."

Back in the Restricted Area, time was rapidly approaching 4:00 PM.

Team 3 had reached a deep, shadowy ravine located near the northernmost edge of the sector.

Ava, Kira, Lira, and Ophelia were completely exhausted. Their uniforms, though auto-cleaning themselves of sweat and dirt, showed visible tears from close encounters, and their breathing was heavy and ragged after two continuous hours of high-intensity combat.

"Let me check around," Ophelia breathed, leaning her back against a rock face as she pulled two empty potion vials from her pouch.

"We’ve cleared at least thirty level 4-5 beasts... I don’t have enough mana left in me."

Suddenly, the ground beneath their feet began to violently shake.

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

A series of heavy, rhythmic thuds reverberated through the ravine walls, sending loose pebbles cascading down the cliffs.

The temperature around the place dropped, replaced by a suffocating, vile stench of rotting blood and and foul smell.

From the dark cavern at the end of the ravine, six massive figures emerged into the fading light.

Four of the creatures were Level 4 Blood Spike Bears. Monsters towering over fifteen feet tall, their fur hardened into razor sharp bone spikes that leaked dark red poison.

Positioned behind them were two terrifying monstrosities. Level 5 Obsidian Goliaths.

Standing over twenty five feet tall, these massive humanoid beasts were constructed entirely of dense, glowing black volcanic rock, their eyes burning with bright purple hellfire.

Lynx’s Primordial Vision flared instantly.

[Name: Obsidian Goliath

Class: Monster

Level: 5

HP: 45,000 / 45,000

MP: 20,000 / 20,000]

"Level 5 beasts shitt..." Ava gasped, her knees trembling as she backed away. "There are two Level 5 beasts and four Level 4s We... we can’t fight this pack! Our mana is completely drained."

Ophelia’s face went pale. "Even at full power, a Year 3 squad needs at least ten students to hunt a single Level 5 Goliath. We need to retreat back to the border."

Before they could turn, the four Blood Spike Bears let out ear splitting roars. Their jaws opened wide, firing dozens of dark, poisonous bone spikes straight at the exhausted girls.

Simultaneously, the two Obsidian Goliaths raised their massive stone fists, unleashing concentrated streams of dark hellfire that swept across the narrow ravine like a wave of liquid destruction.

"Lynx!" Kira screamed, instinctively ducking behind Ava.

Lynx stepped directly in front of the four girls.

"Stay behind me," Lynx said, his voice entirely calm.

Lynx extended his right hand forward, his heterochromatic eyes igniting with a blinding, transcendent glow.

He didn’t bother using low rank fire attacks. He tapped directly into his SS Rank Fire Affinity, channeling a fraction of his massive stats into a single, devastating old technique.

"Infernal Annihilation," Lynx said in his head.

A blinding pillar of golden white divine fire erupted from Lynx’s palm, instantly washing over the entire width of the ravine.

The incoming wave of dark hellfire and poisonous bone spikes was obliterated instantly upon contact, vaporized into absolute nothingness.

The golden pillar of fire roared forward with terrifying velocity, engulfing all four Level 4 Blood Spike Bears simultaneously.

"ROA—!"

The bears didn’t even have time to finish their roars. Their massive fifteen foot frames were completely incinerated, reduced to piles of fine white ash in less than half a second.

The two twenty five foot Obsidian Goliaths let out deep, rumbling roars of rage, their thick volcanic rock skin resisting the edge of the flames.

One Goliath charged forward, swinging a fist the size of a carriage straight at Lynx’s head.

Lynx vanished from the ground.

In a fraction of a millisecond, Lynx materialized directly in front of the Goliath’s face mid air.

He pulled his right fist back, his physical strength surging through his veins, and struck the Goliath squarely in the center of its glowing rock face.

BANG!

An explosive shockwave shattered the surrounding cliff faces. The massive twenty five foot Goliath’s volcanic head exploded into thousands of tiny rock fragments.

The colossal body staggered backward twice before collapsing to the earth, shattering into harmless stone rubble.

The second Obsidian Goliath opened its massive jaws, attempting to unleash a point-blank blast of dark mana.

Lynx landed gracefully on the creature’s shoulders. He reached down with both bare hands, gripping the Goliath’s upper and lower volcanic jaw ridges, and violently flexed his physical stats.

CRACK!

With a sickening crunch of shattered granite, Lynx forcefully ripped the Level 5 monster’s head in half with his bare hands.

Black monster blood gushed into the air, but the invisible passive field around Lynx deflected every drop, keeping his dark Year 2 uniform immaculate.

The massive corpse collapsed to the ground with a thunderous crash, tumbling into the dust.

He felt their essence washing over him. He felt his stats move, but only a tiny bit, at least better than before.

[You’ve slain 10 level five and 7 level four Beasts.

APS points acquired: 20000

Total APS points: 220,000]

’17? the beast here are sure many. The girls slew more than 30 beasts, I just help them kill the difficult ones and it’s up to 17.’ Lynx thought.

Silence descended over the ravine.

Ava, Kira, Lira, and Ophelia stood frozen, their mouths wide open, their eyes bulging as they stared at the desolate clearing.

In less than ten seconds, Lynx had single handedly obliterated four Level 4 beasts and two Level 5 monstrosities... some of the most dangerous creatures in the entire Restricted Area... without taking a single scratch.

Ophelia dropped to her knees on the soft dirt, staring at Lynx as he casually stepped off the monster rubble.

"You... you just killed two Level 5 beasts... with your bare hands..." she whispered, her voice shaking in sheer, utter awe.

Lynx turned around, offering them a warm, effortless smile as he rolled his shoulders.

"I told you not to worry. As long as you’re with me, nothing in this forest can touch you."

Ava rushed forward, throwing her arms around Lynx’s neck and burying her face in his chest, her heart pounding with immense pride and love.

"You absolute god..." she whimpered softly, kissing his jawline repeatedly.

Lira and Kira scrambled over as well, clinging tightly to his arms, their eyes swimming with unconditional worship.

Lynx chuckled, wrapping his broad arms around all three of them, pulling them close as they rested against his chest.

He looked over at Ophelia, who was still sitting on the ground, staring up at him with a flushed face and wide, trembling rose pink eyes.

"You okay over there, Ophelia?" Lynx asked, a lazy wink accompanying his words.

Ophelia let out a soft, breathy laugh, shaking her head as a bright, radiant smile broke across her face. "I’m... I’m more than okay. I think I just witnessed a miracle."

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Right on cue, the rings on their fingers vibrated three sharp times. The glowing timer in their visual field struck exactly 05:00 PM.

"That’s the signal," Lynx said gently, helping his girls push back onto their feet before reaching down and smoothly pulling Ophelia up to her feet as well. "Time to head back to camp and get some food."

He won’t lie, looking at the beasts he killed he was tempted to eat their flesh. It’s been a long time since he had beast delicacies, but he knew not to act on his hunger.

As Team 3 turned and began walking back toward the southern boundary, the exhausted girls teased each other, their laughter echoing through the safe woods, while Lynx walked at their center an unbroken, invincible mountain protecting his kingdom.

——

The journey back through the Restricted Area was quiet and serene. With Lynx leading Team 3, no remaining lower tier beasts dared to approach their path.

The faint, terrifying residual intent lingering around Lynx’s frame was more than enough to send wild predators fleeing into the deepest caverns of the woods.

As they crossed the golden boundary line and exited through the archway into the main staging camp, the sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, casting long orange and purple shadows across the dirt grounds.

The camp was in a state of quiet recovery. Dozens of students from various teams were sitting on supply crates or lying on thin blankets outside their canvas tents.

Nearly everyone looked battered, exhausted, and visibly drained. Blood stained several uniforms, cuts and bruises were visible on faces and arms, and empty glass potion vials littered the dirt around the staging platform.

When Lynx, Ava, Kira, Lira, and Ophelia stepped into the clearing, every single head in the camp turned toward them.

The contrast was staggering.

While every other group looked like they had barely survived a war zone, Team 3 looked as if they had just returned from a pleasant afternoon stroll through an imperial garden.

Lynx’s dark uniform was completely spotless, without a single wrinkle, blood stain, or speck of dirt.

Ava, Kira, and Lira walked with light, energetic steps, their faces glowing with vitality, while Ophelia walked beside Lynx with a relaxed, confident smile.

In the center of the camp, Eleanor Haleborn sat on a wooden crate, her team surrounding her.

Eleanor’s golden uniform had several minor scorch marks along the hem, and her purple hair was slightly damp with sweat. She raised her purple eyes as Lynx walked past, staring at his pristine condition with deep, unadulterated awe.

Beside her, Iris and Rhea whispered quietly, their cheeks flushing as Lynx offered them a casual, friendly nod.

Near the southern tents, Team 2 was gathered in an angry, exhausted cluster.

Mars was leaning heavily against a wooden post, his chest bandaged where a Level 3 beast had grazed him.

James was nursing a sprained wrist, and Peter Musk sat on a rock, staring at his dirty boots with hollow, bloodshot eyes.

Julian Frostborne stood near his tent, clutching an empty potion bottle so tightly his knuckles turned white.

His ice blue eyes burned with a dark, murderous envy as he watched Lynx casually laughing with Ava and Ophelia.

"How... how is his team completely untouched?" Mars grumbled painfully, spitting on the dirt.

"We barely survived four Level 3 packs, and that kid looks like he didn’t even draw his weapon."

Kol Mikel stood silently beside Julian, his eyes narrowed as he looked at Lynx. "His output is beyond our calculations, Julian. Luring beasts won’t work. We need something far worse if we want to kill him."

Julian didn’t answer. He simply turned and vanished inside his canvas tent, slamming the flap shut.

Lynx enhanced hearing picked up what they said, and quickly put things together. He shook his head.

"Those fools."
