The thing in front of them was none other than saplings. Hundreds of saplings and they all were sealed inside a sap that was grey in colour.

Jin looked at those saplings and he didn’t know what to say at this moment. Before anyone could react, the old man was already in front of the sap. He looked at the sap and his expression turned cold. He waved his hands and his entire strength was gathered in the hand. He then slapped it downward at the sap.

With a crack, the sap started to crack and then there was a huge amount of vitality was being absorbed by the sapling and they all regained some composure. The old man spoke,

"My kin."

The saplings seem to hear his voice; they all responded with a vibration. Jin was surprised. He spoke,

"It seems that they are fine. These strange creatures must be using them for their own purposes. But thanks to our timely intervention, they all were saved."

The old man nodded. After some time, he sighed and spoke,

"It seems that my plan to leave has changed. I am going to stay here and protect them"

Jin didn’t argue with him. He nodded and then he spoke,

"Then let us help you senior. If I am not wrong, then they need extreme care at this moment. And if you were to listen to me, you better move the villagers in this place and then you can ask them to do this."

The old man remained silent for some time before nodding. Jin smiled and then they all decided to leave this place since there was nothing beside the endless cave length which they can’t explore right now.

Before going, Jin pulled all the artifacts in his storage ring, keeping some of them.

They appeared in the forest once again which was more like a vast field now. Jin smiled and spoke,

"It seems that this is fate. The old one seems to fade in the past and time for a new one has arrived."

Hearing this the old man smiled and his tension seemed to lessen. He spoke,

"I will be taking out that vitality working as a medium. So, I will leave other work to you."

Jin nodded and then the old man transformed into his true form. He changed into a large apricot tree and resided in the centre of the forest.

The roots of the tree seeped into the soil and as if travelling through space, they broke into the cave. The huge vitality seemed to sense a place to go, they all reached in the direction of the roots and then seeped into them.

In the middle of the forest, they suddenly started emitting vitality from it and it all spread in the surroundings. Jin, Nox, and Aion watched this.

He looked at the saplings around him. From what senior told him, they all need to reach the Soul Born realm to become mobile from one place to another. Jin looked at the saplings and then he disappeared into space and arrived at the village.

The villagers became happy when they all saw him. Jin looked at them and spoke,

"From now on there will be no strange creatures. But now is not the time to celebrate. I need many of the villagers to follow me and you will be living in that place from now on."

He then explained the situation of the saplings and the villagers readily agreed because the tree took care of them for generations and now it is time for them to repay.

Jin then tore the space and wrapped a few of them in his spiritual energy and then he left the village and after sometime, he arrived at the core area of the forest. The people were stunned when they saw this amount of vitality.

But then they all looked at the tree that was generating this vitality. They all bowed in his direction and started to work. The tree gave them the direction for the planting of the saplings.

Very soon, the entire forest was transformed.

Jin and others spent more than two days just planting the saplings into the soil according to the ancient apricot tree direction. After planting them, Jin realised that the vitality seemed to find a path and it was flowing without any trouble.

He sighed and then he took a rest. After so long, he was truly tired and he has not even taken rest. He arrived in a hut in the forest and he hugged Aion. Aion didn’t do anything. He simply hugged Jin and then Jin entered into a deep sleep.

When Jin woke up, the next day arrived and the villagers also started to migrate. After they all migrated, Jin helped them to settle down. In another week, the core area of the ancient apricot forest was bustling with vitality for the first time which didn’t go back during the night.

Jin started his cultivation because he was not able to cultivate at all and his law understanding is also lacking right now. Aion was approaching the emperor realm. Nox was also busy cultivating but his cultivation seemed to be different but Jin didn’t ask anything because this was Nox’s decision.

After handling everything, Jin looked at the villagers and spoke,

"Now is the time for us to return. I have established my own force and I can’t stay far from it."

The villagers didn’t stop him. Jin smiled and looked at Elvy and the other two. He spoke,

"You three are also leaving with us. Your foundation is solid but your knowledge is lacking and it is time for you all to get stronger and become pillars of this place in the future."

Elvy, Tren and Verlyn nodded and then they prepared to leave.

Jin arrived in front of the ancient apricot tree and asked him,

"Senior, do you truly not want that emperor seal? You can use the vitality here to restore him."

A phantom of an old man appeared and he laughed when he heard Jin speak. He gently shook his head and spoke,

"This place has no requirement for someone like him since I am present here."

Jin nodded when he heard that but then spoke,

"Wait for us then. When I achieve the divine realm, I’ll create a teleportation channel from this place to my place."

The old man shook his head and spoke,

"There is no need for that. Divine realm means that wielding the third layer of laws. Just the second one is not easy, forget about the third one.

Do you think that second layer is that easy? Decree is not something that emperors can wield freely. In the sovereign realm, the cultivator wields the true decree."

Jin was surprised but the old man didn’t explain anything to him. He just smiled and spoke,

"When you reach that realm, you will understand."
