Knowing his death was imminent, the Moon Demon King mustered the last of his strength to curse Yang Jing, his stream of profanities endless.

Yang Jing was completely unaffected. He simply summoned the Celestial Waterfall Sword and methodically began peeling the Scale Hide from the Moon Demon King’s body.

Although the Moon Demon King was on his last breath, the fundamental toughness of a Demon King remained. His Scale Hide was still incredibly resilient, impervious to both water and fire. Yang Jing had to channel his full power into the Celestial Waterfall Sword just to peel the entire hide off intact.

The Celestial Waterfall Sword plunged in from the top of his skull. The blade tensed, and with a cringe-inducing crack of bone, it gouged out the two deer antler-like Demon Horns from the Moon Demon King’s head.

The Moon Demon King was already on the verge of death when his Scale Hide was removed. Once his Demon Horns were pried off, he finally breathed his last.

Yang Jing retrieved the Profound Celestial Furnace and tossed the Scale Hide and Demon Horns inside. He then called for the Wanhua Child to set up an array for Demon Summoning.

The Wanhua Child had been gleefully refining the Moon Demon King’s essence. Upon hearing Yang Jing’s command, it didn’t dare delay for a moment. It hurriedly shouted orders, gathered the Ox Power Demons living in the Yin Qi World, and began waving the Array Banners.

They were already well-practiced in this task; it was only because the Demon-Catching Tripod had been occupied with imprisoning the Moon Demon King that they’d had some time off.

Now, as the Array Formation unfurled, the Outer Celestial Demons sensed that the summons was coming from the Central Continent, a land rich with spiritual energy. They immediately and impatiently responded to the call.

"Hahaha, some idiot is actually summoning demons in the Central Continent! I’m going to cause some real chaos today!"

These excited Outer Celestial Demons had only just arrived in the Yin Qi World. Before they even realized something was amiss, they were snatched up by Yang Jing’s Five Elements Hand and thrown into the Profound Celestial Furnace.

Yang Jing activated the Five Elements True Fire, which blazed fiercely within the furnace.

The lured Outer Celestial Demons only had time to let out a wretched scream before the Five Elements True Fire refined away their physical forms, transforming them into a roiling mass of Celestial Demon Essence Qi.

Yang Jing’s technique was superb. He effortlessly refined away the Outer Celestial Demons’ Demon Souls and Demon Natures, leaving the Celestial Demon Essence Qi completely undamaged.

He cast several Spells, and the Moon Demon King’s Scale Hide and Demon Horns inside the furnace began to greedily devour the Celestial Demon Essence Qi.

Yang Jing was a perfectionist and would naturally not use a Scale Hide and Demon Horns with depleted source energy for his Artifact Refining. The endless supply of Outer Celestial Demons from beyond the heavens was perfect for luring in to replenish what was lost.

With the "voluntary sacrifice" of countless Great Demons and Great Celestial Demons, the Moon Demon King’s leftover Scale Hide and Demon Horns began to glow, their color growing rich and lustrous, as if the Demon King himself had been resurrected.

Sensing that the Celestial Demon Essence Qi within was so abundant it was about to overflow, Yang Jing finally had the Wanhua Child and the Ox Power Demons stop the Demon Summoning.

He set the Scale Hide and Demon Horns aside, then took out the various Top Tier Demonic Materials stored in the Yin Qi World.

Some of these Demonic Materials came from the Moon Demon King’s treasury, while others were harvested from the remains of the lured Celestial Demons. The most numerous among them came from the bodies of Starfall True Demons and Yin Evil Spider Demons.

Activating the Five Elements True Fire, Yang Jing effortlessly refined these rare Demonic Materials, leaving behind only their purest essences.

Yang Jing combined the various materials, refining them into an Inner Lining and a spool of Demon Silk, into which he imprinted Restrictions. Only then did he turn his attention back to the Moon Demon King’s Scale Hide and Demon Horns.

It took a full seven days of effort.

Only then were the Scale Hide and Demon Horns finally cleansed of all impurities and imprinted with one Restriction after another by Yang Jing. The scales and horns tumbled within the True Fire, brimming with Spiritual Essence. They automatically pieced themselves together into the form the Moon Demon King had in life, though it was hollow inside.

To achieve absolute perfection, Yang Jing even exhaled a breath of Innate Pure Yin Qi into the furnace.

Once the refining was complete, Yang Jing transformed the Celestial Waterfall Sword into a Silver Needle, performing the technique of Refining Sword into Silk. Using the indestructible Sword Silk, he bored tiny holes into the individual scales. Then, using the Demon Silk, he strung the scales together and sewed them onto the previously refined Inner Lining.

A moment later, an exquisitely crafted suit of Armor was complete, including a helm, cuirass, vambraces, and greaves.

The Armor was crafted in the style of Mountain Pattern Armor, colored a deep, profound black. It was perfectly seamless, with no trace of the stitches. The helmet was topped with a pair of sharp, white deer antlers. Despite being refined entirely from Demonic Materials, it emitted not the slightest trace of Demonic Qi.

Yang Jing did not take the Armor out. Instead, he activated his Nine Yang Body, and a blazing stream of Celestial Yang Fire ignited, falling into the Profound Celestial Furnace.

At first, the Armor showed no change under the searing heat of the Celestial Yang Fire. After burning for another seven full days, a horrifyingly shrill scream suddenly echoed from within the Profound Celestial Furnace.

An illusory Demon Shadow was forced out of the Armor by the Celestial Yang Fire.

It turned out the Moon Demon King had not died completely, but had left a remnant of his soul within his own Scale Hide and Demon Horns.

’How much cunning can a mere beast muster? It’s simply laughable.’

With Yang Jing’s Artifact Refining skill and Spiritual Sense, there was no way he could have failed to notice the Moon Demon King’s little ploy.

Yang Jing bellowed at the Armor inside the Profound Celestial Furnace.

The moment he finished speaking, a cloud of white qi rose from the Armor and condensed in mid-air into the form of a young girl.

The Child was as cute as a button, with a pair of small deer antlers on her head. She looked timidly toward Yang Jing.

"Please bestow a name upon me, Master."

With a thought from Yang Jing, the Taiyin Demon-Suppressing Armor flew into the air, separating piece by piece to land on Iron Head, assembling itself perfectly.

Wearing the Armor, Iron Head looked magnificent and imposing, like a Divine General descended from the heavens, though he was a little small for the suit. Although he focused most of his energy on Alchemy, having followed Yang Jing for so long, his eye for quality was exceptional. He could immediately tell how extraordinary this armor was—it could absolutely be cultivated as a Lifebound Magical Treasure.

"Thank you, Master."

Yang Jing glanced at his other disciples. ’As their master, I must treat them all equally.’
