Yang Jing gripped the Demon-Catching Tripod with both hands, pouring his Magical Power into it. At the same time, he commanded the remaining three of his Five Dragon Magical Swords to besiege Ah Guoshami, trying to buy more time.

The Five Fire Child manipulated the Five Fire Gourd, constantly blasting out scorching Five Fire Divine Thunder to assist from the sidelines.

The Fire Dragon Magical Sword, in particular, grew even more powerful when bolstered by the Five Fire Divine Thunder. It managed to clash head-on with Ah Guoshami’s Light Claw for several blows before finally shattering.

A few moments later, a terrifying, heart-stopping Demonic Qi suddenly descended, spreading wantonly in every direction.

Ah Guoshami shattered the Water Dragon Magical Sword with a single swipe of his claw. He then seized the endlessly struggling Earth Dragon Magical Sword and Fire Dragon Magical Sword, smashing them into each other and directly obliterating the Divine Intent within them.

The Magic Swords disintegrated, reverting to pure Earth Element and Fire Element Spiritual Qi.

He looked up, only to be shocked by the realization that a bone-chilling Demon Moon had descended into the Five-Colored Cloud Barrier.

The five-colored cloud-qi surged—green, red, yellow, white, and black—intertwining, now gathering, now dispersing in a dazzling display. The giant Demon Moon was veiled within, not the common silver moon of the Nine Heavens World, but a strange and unnerving Purple Moon.

Chilling moonlight radiated from it, threatening to freeze everything in its path. It also contained a strange Magic Power: anyone bathed in its light would be assailed by distracting thoughts, their minds thrown into turmoil.

When Ah Guoshami felt the moonlight land on his body, it was as if thousands of tiny needles were pricking him—a painful, numbing sensation. While it caused almost no actual damage, it left him feeling deeply uncomfortable.

"What kind of technique is this?!"

’Even after searching all the memories of his original body, he couldn’t recall any Cultivator with such a vast array of techniques. It was like a kaleidoscope, simply dazzling.’

’These Cultivators are clearly limited by their lifespans, so they focus most of their energy on raising their Cultivation. Even when they do learn combat techniques, they usually only master two or three to use as trump cards. In a typical fight, they rely more on Magical Treasures.’

’But the number of techniques Yang Jing had displayed so far surpassed even that of the long-lived Divine Beings.’

Ah Guoshami’s heart filled with vexation. He had already manifested his Divine Body; it would be a tremendous loss if he failed to utterly defeat Yang Jing now.

Steeling his resolve, he instantly transformed into a streak of light and appeared before the Purple Moon. He reached out with his Light Claw, intending to tear the strange celestial body open and drag out the Yang Jing hiding within.

The next moment, a Demon Claw shot out from within the Purple Moon and seized his Light Claw.

Incomparably pure Taiyin Demon Qi surged from the Demon Claw. The instant it made contact with the Light Claw, a violent conflict erupted.

Ah Guoshami’s heart sank. He could sense that the quality of this Taiyin Demon Qi was more than a single Level higher than the previous Spiritual Light Chains; it was actually showing faint signs of suppressing him in turn.

This narrowed the gap in Magical Power between him and Yang Jing.

With a mere thought, another Light Claw instantly sprouted from the wrist of the first and clawed at the Purple Moon.

Though Ah Guoshami didn’t know what technique Yang Jing was using, he knew this bizarre Purple Moon was the key.

A beam of chilling moonlight blasted out from the Purple Moon, illuminating the new Light Claw. The frigid Taiyin Demon Qi actually caused flakes of frost to condense upon the incredibly searing appendage.

The next moment, another Light Claw shot up from below, piercing straight through the Purple Moon and propelling the Yang Jing within it high into the sky.

The Light Claw twisted, transforming into the likeness of Ah Guoshami. He shaped his palm into a blade, preparing to sever Yang Jing’s head.

But to his surprise, the figure he had blasted out of the Purple Moon was not Yang Jing. Instead, it was a monster with the head of a deer and the body of a man, its skin deathly pale and its head crowned with fleshy horns.

The monster opened its mouth and exhaled a blast of extreme yin wind, cold enough to freeze all creation. It instantly encased Ah Guoshami in black ice harder than the finest steel.

Enraged, Ah Guoshami’s body erupted in blazing flames of light that melted the surrounding black ice.

The next moment, the deer-headed monster raised one hand high. Frigid Taiyin Demon Qi condensed in its palm, forming a Double-Pronged Fork.

BOOM!

Ah Guoshami had just broken free of the black ice when the Double-Pronged Fork smashed down on him with devastating force, sending him plummeting toward the ground like a meteor.

Yang Jing, wielding the Double-Pronged Fork, transformed into a gust of yin wind to pursue the plummeting Ah Guoshami.

He had used his Fetal Transformation Divine Techniques, in conjunction with the Demon-Catching Tripod, to assume the form of a Moon Demon. The Fetal Transformation Divine Techniques had originated from a fusion of his Celestial Demon Transformation and several other Talents, making the change into a Moon Demon an effortless task.

When using Fetal Transformation into an Alien Form, two of his transformations were the strongest. The first was the Feathered Whale. Because he possessed the Feathered Whale Essence Blood gifted to him by Yellow Foot’s mother, the Feathered Whale he became was indistinguishable from a real one. It possessed the same Sky-Breaking Divine Techniques and, at full power, could travel a hundred li in a single leap.

The second was the Moon Demon. By relying on the Devouring and Transforming Demons ability of his Inner World, he had almost completely Refined an entire Moon Demon King. Using Fetal Transformation to become a Moon Demon allowed him to replicate seventy percent of the original Moon Demon King’s Power.

Furthermore, because he had Refined Innate Taiyin Qi into his Magical Power, the Demonic Qi of his Moon Demon form was even colder than that of the original Moon Demon King.

However, Outer Celestial Demons were a major taboo in the Central Continent, so Yang Jing had never deployed this ability before. Even when facing Nascent Soul Cultivators, he had always chosen the Feathered Whale form for its superior Tunneling Speed.

But now, with no other options left, Yang Jing could only resort to his Moon Demon form.

BOOM!

Yang Jing swung the Double-Pronged Fork, smashing it down heavily upon Ah Guoshami.

The terrifying Giant Power blasted Ah Guoshami deep into the earth. The ground for a li in every direction caved in.

Yang Jing hovered in the air, cautiously observing the ground below. Because Taiyin Demon Qi conflicted with his own Magical Power, he had lost access to many of his other techniques after transforming into the Moon Demon.

The next moment, a dozen incomparably sharp Light Claws erupted from the ground, clawing at Yang Jing from all directions.

Yang Jing’s deer-like face betrayed no emotion. He wielded the fork like a spear, channeling Taiyin Demon Qi to execute the Flying Lightning Demon-Slaying Spear Mantra. The black fork danced, creating countless deadly flourishes while exhaling a frigid yin aura, deflecting and annihilating every one of the Light Claws.

Ah Guoshami’s figure suddenly appeared atop one of the Light Claws. He clapped his own two claws together, aiming at Yang Jing.

An incomparably brilliant white light shot straight toward Yang Jing. The yin aura and Demonic Qi in its path evaporated instantly upon contact.

In his current Moon Demon form, Yang Jing could only transform into demonic wind and fog; he was completely unable to use the supremely hard and yang-aspected Thunder Escape. Faced with the beam of white light, his only option was to point his Double-Pronged Fork toward it. The frigid Taiyin Demon Qi coalesced into an umbrella-like shield before him.

The next moment, the surging white light completely engulfed his form.

Ah Guoshami wiped at his eyes, his hand coming away stained with golden Divine Blood. That last attack had actually managed to injure his body, jolting the Divine Blood right out of him.

This blow even shook his conviction of certain victory.

Damage to his Divine Body was not like damage to a mere avatar; it was extremely difficult to heal.
