My Beasts Grind Proficiency For Me

Chapter 611 - 125: Celestial Demon Blood Transformation

「Twelve days later.」

The season was Awakening, a time when the bloodlines of Demons in the Nine Heavens World were at their most active.

A fleet of Flying Boats belonging to the Thousand Islands Alliance had assembled mid-air, poised for a major battle. Behind the Flying Boats stretched the boundless, azure sea, dotted with reefs like pieces on a game board. Before them, the water was thick with the foul stench of Demon Qi. Countless scaled and horned Demons bobbed in the ocean, eager for a fight.

These were all Wild Demons of the sea, with no allegiance. They were crammed together chaotically. Behind them, clearly distinct, were the forces of the Demon Countries.

Within these forces, each Demon King commanded an Array. Their Demon Qi linked together, forming a massive Array Formation.

Eight Demon Saints revealed their True Bodies. Like the moon surrounded by stars, they were encircled by countless Demon Arrays.

Most of the Demon Saints in the waters near the Central Continent had their own legacies. Some of these legacies, like that of the Jade Poison Kingdom, even originated from the Central Continent itself. The military formations of these Demon Countries were even derived from the Celestial Palace Navy and the Dragon King Navy.

"Brother Jade Poison, I never expected the Central Continent to still have someone with a True Dragon Bloodline! If we let them grow strong, our days of carefree freedom will be over. Help me capture and kill this dragon spawn today, and I swear I’ll do everything in my power to help you restore your kingdom."

The speaker was a Demon Saint that looked like a black fish. It had the head of a fish and the body of a man, standing ninety feet tall with a massive, corpulent frame. It spoke with undisguised greed.

Upon smelling the sweet aroma of the True Dragon Blood, a primal instinct drove him madly to find its source and devour the dragon spawn alive.

The Jade Poison Great Saint maintained a sorrowful expression and nodded repeatedly, but inwardly, he was filled with contempt. ’This Xuan Gu Demon Saint is just a black fish that got lucky. If my Jade Poison Kingdom hadn’t been destroyed and if I weren’t being hunted by Demon Cultivators, I’d never have fallen so low.’

’I possess the Soaring Serpent Bloodline, which is in no way inferior to the so-called True Dragon Bloodline. If I could devour this dragon spawn, I might be able to stimulate my own bloodline and break through to the Divinity Transformation realm.’

’At that point, I could restore my kingdom whenever I pleased. Why would I need to rely on the whims of a black fish?’

A Demon Saint suddenly blew a horn.

Goaded by the sound, the Wild Demons in front of the Demon Arrays lost their minds and charged recklessly toward the Flying Boat fleet.

The fleet immediately activated the various Restrictions on the Flying Boats. A dense swarm of Fire Crows formed an overwhelming flock that plunged into the sea.

The Divine Crow Flying Fire Formation was so practical that even most Flying Boats from the Central Continent were equipped with it.

The roiling Spiritual Fire seemed powerful enough to boil the very ocean. Countless Demons were instantly incinerated by the Fire Crows. Even the vast sea could not extinguish the blazing Spiritual Fire.

When the first wave of Fire Crows subsided, a trail of Demon corpses stretching over ten miles floated on the sea’s surface.

But there were simply too many Demons in the sea. A large number broke through the Fire Crows’ defensive line. They had long since lost all reason, drawn by the scent of Dragon Blood and spurred on by the Demon Saint’s horn.

BOOM!

Wielding the Seven-Star Thunderbolt Spear, Iron Head leaped down from one of the Flying Boats.

The Seven-Star Thunderbolt Spear in his hand crackled with boundless Great Cave True Thunder, which formed a net of lightning that turned all surrounding Demons to charcoal.

After unleashing that devastating strike with the Great Cave True Thunder, he charged back and forth among the Demons in the sea, coordinating with the Flying Boat fleet above to eliminate the Golden Core Demon Kings among the Wild Demons.

Chi Yu, Ji Feng, and Yellow Foot also used their own techniques to slay the Demons in the sea.

"Fellow Daoist Yang, your disciple is truly a peerless warrior. In the past two years, he’s even managed to capture every last Tribulation Cultivator active within the Thousand Islands Alliance. A great teacher truly produces a brilliant student."

Wood Palace True Monarch sat on the fleet’s flagship, sipping tea with Yang Jing.

Yang Jing’s presence had attracted this enormous horde of Demons, which now threatened to overrun the Thousand Islands Alliance. Naturally, many of the Nascent Soul cultivators in the alliance had their complaints. Some were even conspiring in secret, hoping to expel Yang Jing and his disciples from the Thousand Islands Alliance.

They had only failed so far because they were deterred by the reputation of Nine Yang True Monarch.

Nevertheless, the dissenting voices continued. They only quieted down after Yang Jing let it be known that he and his disciples were prepared to face the demon tide alone.

Among the many Island Masters of the Thousand Islands Alliance, only Wood Palace True Monarch had been willing to lead his island’s fleet to help.

After all, he had personally witnessed Yang Jing’s Instant Sword Technique.

"Fellow Daoist Wood Palace, have you any interest in becoming the leader of the Thousand Islands Alliance?"

Yang Jing stared at Wood Palace True Monarch and asked bluntly, "If you are, I will do everything in my power to help you secure the position."

The Central Continent, managed by its many Major Sects and Noble Families, was already impenetrable. There was no room for outsiders to gain a foothold. Even if Yang Jing annihilated the Ruan Family in the name of revenge, their territory would just fall into the hands of the local hegemon, the Red Sun Sect.

But the Thousand Islands Alliance was different. Its structure was loose, not tightly organized like the Central Continent Major Sects. If he himself wanted to become the leader, the resistance would be immense. But helping Wood Palace True Monarch, a veteran of the alliance, take the position? It wouldn’t be as easy as flipping his hand, but it was well within reach.

Wood Palace True Monarch was so shocked that his teacup slipped from his hand and clattered onto the tray.

"I... I would, of course! But there are three others in the alliance who outrank me. And I’ve always acted rather aloof, so the other fellow Daoists have their complaints about me."

As he spoke, he began to calculate his chances of success.

Yang Jing shot to his feet.

"Fellow Daoist Wood Palace, what does it matter if the others are dissatisfied with you? If you present them with the heads of these eight Demon Saints, will they still dare to complain?"

Wood Palace True Monarch’s eyes lit up immediately.

"Fellow Daoist Yang, does this mean Senior Nine Yang is nearby?"

To this day, outsiders still didn’t know that Nine Yang was merely a Human Puppet.

"I alone am enough."

Yang Jing looked out at the seemingly endless horde of Demons in the sea and slashed with his hand.

In the next instant, a bolt of blood-red Blade Gang, like a bolt of silk, shot across the sky like a long rainbow.

The hair on Wood Palace True Monarch’s body stood on end. He was so close to the Blade Gang that even though it wasn’t aimed at him, the qi and blood in his body roiled violently.

The few attendant disciples turned beet-red, as if drunk. They grew dizzy and collapsed to the ground.

But the fate of the Demons in the sea was far more wretched.

Even those several miles away from the Blade Gang had their Essence Blood torn from their bodies, pulled toward the blood-red rainbow in the sky.

For a moment, it was as if an inverted rain of blood fell upon the sea. Countless streams of crimson Essence Blood shot up from the water and merged into the blood-red rainbow.

Even many of the Demons within the Demon Arrays shrieked miserably as their Essence Blood was siphoned away by the Celestial Demon Blood Transformation Divine Blade.

Wood Palace True Monarch had never witnessed such a scene. He could only stare, dumbfounded, at Yang Jing, who was controlling the Blade Gang.

If he hadn’t personally seen Yang Jing slay several Nascent Soul Demon Kings in a row, he would have thought Yang Jing was actually an Outer Celestial Demon in disguise.
