My Cuckhold System

Chapter 307: War Outbreak

Bloodstain froze while West pressed on. "No really."

"Do you?"

"You’ve spent weeks throwing accusations around."

"You’ve brought over a hundred awakened here."

"You’ve threatened my people."

"You’ve surrounded my base."

"Do."

"You."

"Have."

"Proof?"

The silence lasted only a moment, causing Bloodstain’s expression to darken.

Because the truth was, they didn’t have any concrete evidence. Everything they had gathered was circumstantial.

Even though it pointed toward Shadow Reapers, nothing directly proved it and this was the same reason why Eagle’s Print members thought Bloodstain had gone insane.

West immediately capitalized on this point. "Shouldn’t you be ashamed of yourself?"

The surrounding members visibly looked uncomfortable while West smiled. "A veteran gang."

"A veteran gang leader."

"Reduced to throwing tantrums outside the headquarters of a newly founded gang."

The muttering increased and Bloodstain’s face became ugly.

His right-hand man suddenly stepped forward before things could further worsen. "Actually..."

He proceeded to pull out a tablet and played a recording.

West eyes narrowed as he watched, immediately recognizing what this was.

The recording playing showed Jax driving the expensive sports car out of Shadow Reapers Headquarters.

Several Iron Vultures members immediately pointed.

"There!"

"See!"

"Look at that!"

The right-hand man raised the device while speaking. "How can a member of a startup gang afford a vehicle worth nearly a million?"

More murmurs spread and Bloodstain immediately seized the opportunity. "Exactly."

He pointed at West. "Where did the money come from?"

West remained calm, answering without a change in expression. "Maybe he borrowed it."

The crowd laughed and Bloodstain followed suit, laughing harder. "Borrowed it?"

West shrugged. "Maybe."

The right-hand man scoffed. "No one borrows a vehicle like that."

Bloodstain immediately pointed toward his gathered members. "You see?"

"This is why we’re here."

"This is why Iron Vultures has come."

"This thief."

"This parasite."

"This little brat."

The crowd roared, returning Bloodstain’s confidence. "Today we take everything back."

"Yaaaaahhhh!" Another roar followed.

West glanced around before sighing. "You people really want to do this?"

Bloodstain laughed. "You think we’re afraid?"

West scratched his cheek. "No..."

"I think you’re stupid."

Several members immediately became furious upon hearing West’s retort.

Bloodstain snarled. "What did you say?"

West smiled. "Something doesn’t add up."

The crowd quieted slightly while West spread his arms. "You claim I’m responsible for all your problems."

"Right?"

The members and Bloodstain nodded, spurring West to continue.

"You claim I’m responsible for destroying Iron Vultures."

"Right?"

More nodded earning a laugh from West. "Then why are you suddenly treating me like I’m harmless?"

The crowd stiffened with looks of caution on their faces while West pointed toward Bloodstain. "You can’t have it both ways."

The silence spread, broken only by the sound of West low chuckles. "If I truly destroyed your gang..."

"If I truly robbed your facilities..."

"If I truly humiliated you repeatedly..."

"Then maybe..." he smiled. "...you should stop underestimating me."

Bloodstain’s confidence faltered slightly before he scoffed. "You are still a Tier One."

The crowd laughed in response wondering why they almost broke a sweat earlier.

West laughed too, even harder than they did before raising a finger. "Good point."

POOF!

Immediately a burst of light appeared, the laughter stopped.

POOF!

Several members stepped backward as another burst of light swept across the vicinity.

POOF!

The atmosphere changed completely as a third burst of light enveloped everywhere.

Gor’thala, seraphyra and Aurethia appeared from these flashes of light, filling the surroundings with powerful pressure.

Many Iron Vultures members instinctively activated abilities.

West smiled before looking toward Gor’thala. "I know you’ve become much stronger."

Gor’thala nodded respectfully while West pointed forward. "Don’t hold back."

"Summon everything."

The air trembled as Gor’thala planted her staff into the ground with an intense expression of loyalty.

BOOOOOM!

Magic circles erupted across the surrounding in successions.

Verdant Pyre Behemoths began emerging from the earth as the magic circles erupted.

From ten to fifteen... to twenty... and just when everyone thought it was over, ten more magic circles appeared.

The appearances of up to thirty of these monstrous green flaming creatures caused dozens of Iron Vultures members to pale.

The ground didn’t stop trembling after the thirty Verdant Pyre Behemoths emerged.

In fact... the tremors only became worse.

Bloodstain’s expression changed. "What now?"

The magical circles beneath Gor’thala’s staff continued to expand, transforming into rotating ancient runes.

Mana gathered causing the earth to split apart once again.... and something else began emerging.

Something that wasn’t a Verdant Pyre Behemoth.

The first creature clawed its way out of the ground.

It resembled an enormous wolf standing nearly fifteen feet tall at the shoulder. Its body was covered in black bark-like armor interwoven with glowing emerald vines. Antlers made of crystalized wood rose from its skull, branching outward like a miniature forest.

Every breath it released caused flowers to bloom briefly beneath its paws before immediately withering into glowing embers.

The second beast emerged beside it, looking like a massive six-legged panther whose skin appeared to be formed entirely from dark roots and smooth obsidian wood.

Long thorn-covered tendrils swayed from its shoulders like living whips, and its eyes burned with green fire.

The third creature was a far larger monstrous turtle-like beast nearly forty feet long. It pushed itself from the earth with a shell that looked like an entire forest had grown upon its back. Trees, vines and glowing plants covered it completely while rivers of molten green mana flowed through cracks in its shell.

The fourth creature caused several Iron Vultures members to step backward.

It resembled a giant bird of prey with a wingspan exceeding sixty feet. Its feathers were made from razor-sharp leaves and emerald flames. Every time it flapped its wings, storms of glowing leaves capable of slicing through steel was released.

When the fifth creature emerged, even Bloodstain stopped smiling.

A colossal serpent emerged from the ground, looking very terrifying.

Its body was covered in overlapping emerald scales mixed with living bark. Giant branches protruded from its back like a forest growing upon its spine, and glowing flowers continuously bloomed and died across its massive body.

The serpent raised its head, opened its mouth and released a roar powerful enough to shake nearby buildings.

It looked way more terrifying than Seraphyra but Seraphyra was capable of growing larger than it.

The pressure from the five creatures alone caused many Iron Vultures members to unconsciously retreat several steps.

However, this wasn’t even the end...

Five giants suddenly appeared, carrying tower-sized weapons each.

The ground shook as they stepped out of the glowing circles, spreading fear and panic across the surrounding.

Complete silence spread as everyone stared in disbelief.

Even Bloodstain stopped smiling because how could the summon of a Summoner, summon up to forty creatures at once.

The sheer number was absurd...

Seraphyra smiled mischievously while slithering forward and suddenly began growing.

"You’re not going to outshine me today Tala... I want master’s praises..." her body expanded beyond buildings, vehicles and anything present as golden scales spread across her body, reflecting the sunlight.

Her eyes glowed brightly and by the the time she stopped expanding, she already exceeded a hundred feet in length.

Gasps erupted throughout Iron Vultures as some members stepped backward.

They had higher numbers but couldn’t deny that what stood before them was very intimidating.

Aurethia was the only one who remained unchanged.

She stood there silently with her saber glowing.

Her calm demeanor somehow made her seem even more dangerous.

Inside the base walls, Shadow Reapers members were losing their minds:

"What the hell?"

"Forty summons?!"

"WHEN DID SHE GET FORTY?!"

"We can actually win this!"

Jax laughed loudly as Morale skyrocketed. "There it is."

Vanya grinned. "Let’s get out there."

The gates behind West opened again and Shadow Reapers members poured out except for Aria.

She remained inside coordinating systems but everyone else stepped forward, including the newest recruits.

Fear had vanished, completely replaced by excitement. Nothing boosted morale more than witnessing just how capable a gang leader was.

West remained where he was, comfortably standing behind his army with a grin while casually folded his arms.

His voice spread across the battlefield. "Let the battle begin."

The battle erupted the moment West gave the order.

There was no warning or final exchange of words...

One second both sides stood facing one another and the next, the entire battlefield exploded into chaos.

Fireballs streaked through the air... ice spears shot across the battlefield.... lightning crackled from awakened hands.

Transformation users grew claws, scales and armor while summoners released creatures into the fray.

The sound alone was deafening.

Explosions echoed throughout the district while the ground continuously shook beneath hundreds of feet.

Despite everything, the Iron Vultures members still pushed forward aggressively.

After all, they had the numbers.

Even after seeing Gor’thala’s summons, many still believed victory was inevitable so long as they overwhelmed them with manpower.

Unfortunately for them, reality proved far different...

Because once Gor’thala’s summons fully entered the battlefield, the numbers advantage immediately began feeling like a lie.
