Roland shoved Kina forward, slamming her into the wall at the far end of the room. Pouting slightly, she spun around and sized up Roland, who stared back with a smirk.

The place was dark, though not pitch-black. Their expressions, faces, and silhouettes were still clearly visible even in the dim light.

"Here we go!"

Waah!

"Ugh...."

Ilunia suffered the exact same fate. She was thrown into a corner and slammed into the wall. Unlike Kina, she struggled to see anything around her, making her look even more pitiful in a situation like this.

"...What is this?" Kina decided to ask. But Roland wasn’t in a mood to negotiate, he laughed and said:

"Strip off all your clothes."

"...!"

’Is this guy insane?’ Kina’s mouth nearly fell open in shock. Her whole body froze, expression completely blank, before her stare shifted into open disgust.

"Do you have any idea what you’re actually trying to pull here?"

Hearing that, Roland let out a low whistle. "Wow, what’s this? I figured you’d just hand your body over the second I asked. I mean, sure, you’ve been pretty obedient this whole time. But looks like you’ve still got some pride left, huh."

’Why would I ever hand my body over? Especially to some deranged bastard like him?’

Kina felt her stomach turn, a wave of nausea rising up. If she was ever going to give up her virginity, it was going to be to some handsome man, exactly matching her preferences and taste, thank you very much.

She glanced at Roland for a moment, and looking at that face made her lips twitch.

"Pfftt...ahem!" Without meaning to, she nearly burst out laughing, quickly disguising it as a fake cough.

She coughed a few times, hiding the laugh that had almost slipped out. But watching Roland’s face, Kina felt herself being tickled by some devil inside her, unable to stop.

"Did you just laugh!?" And, because of that, Roland caught on.

Kina froze in place, her lips curving into a flat, forced smile as she looked away, breaking into a cold sweat.

"Ahem, why on earth would I be laughing?"

Roland glared at her, seething with fury, while Kina kept standing frozen, staring at the floor beside her.

"Ahem. Ahem. Just coughing. Ahem."

"...."

"I’m serious."

’This is insane, why does his face look this ridiculous right now?’ Strangely enough, Kina genuinely despised Roland for how vile he was, but at the same time, for some inexplicable reason, she also found him absolutely absurd.

Just looking at his face made her want to burst out laughing.

Meanwhile, Roland’s face flushed red, his fists clenched so tight they shook. Beside him, his friends stared at Kina in complete disbelief.

’Wow, this is the first time anyone’s ever actually dared to insult Roland like that...’

’Yeah. She’s done for. Such a shame too, she’s really pretty.’

’....I hope Roland shares her with the rest of us after this. I’d like a turn too.’

Roland, out of patience, lunged at Kina. He shot his hand out, aiming straight for her chest, his smirk stretching wide with pure fury.

"Laugh again! While I’m busy wrecking your—"

Kina raised her arm, curling it into a fist, and before Roland could even touch her, her fist landed square in his face first.

Baaam!

"Augh...!"

Roland let out a ridiculous shriek, his head snapping back, his whole body following, and he staggered backward on unsteady feet, clutching his face.

Blood dripped fresh from his nose, and he stared at Kina in disbelief, breathing hard.

"You...!"

Kina stayed quiet, glancing down at her own fist, then back up at Roland, the smile on her face freezing in place.

"I never planned on doing this, okay? This is entirely on you, for being the one who crossed the line first."

Realizing she’d already gone and punched him, Kina let out a rueful sigh, composing her expression. She laughed cheerfully, tilting her head.

"How about we just call it here? Handsome young master Roland? Ahem. Ahem."

Roland winced. "Do you have any idea who I actually am?" he shouted, furious, making his friends around him grow visibly uneasy, still not quite believing what Kina had just done. "I’m—"

"Do you have any idea that I don’t actually care?" Kina cut him off before he could finish. Roland flinched again, biting down on his lip hard enough to bruise it.

"All of you! Grab that damn bitch for me!"

As the group of students closed in on Kina, all she did was stand there quietly, lost in thought.

’...Ugh, what have I done... well, guess it’s already happened now.’

She’d held her patience for two whole weeks, but in the end, she’d finally snapped. Though, honestly, the blame sat squarely with these bullies too. Because if Kina had just kept quiet, they probably would’ve assaulted her right here.

Kina let out an irritated groan, glaring at Roland and his lackeys, clicking her tongue.

’Whatever, I’ll deal with the consequences later, and...’ a smile spread across Kina’s face, a pure smile, laced entirely with irritation. ’Might as well make them pay for it while I’m at it.’

Since they were still inside the Academy, none of them would risk carelessly using any Skills that might trigger an explosion or cause serious structural damage.

So, instead of a life-threatening fight, this was just an ordinary brawl, the kind you’d see on any street corner, just a slightly cleaner, more refined version of it.

One of the students raised his fist and swung at Kina. But all Kina did was tilt her head, catch the boy’s fist mid-swing, and grip it tight so it couldn’t pull free.

"....!"

Before he could react to anything, Kina snapped her leg forward, driving it straight into the boy’s stomach.

Baam!

"Guhk!?"

Even if these kids had picked up more lessons from the Academy, even if they’d learned more Skills than she had, none of that mattered much when they’d never once actually stepped onto a real battlefield.

Unlike them, Kina had. Her fighting style wasn’t the neat, disciplined form they’d been taught, she fought purely on instinct.

Whatever her opponent did, she simply adapted to it on the spot.

Two more students closed in, throwing punches from two different directions. Kina didn’t so much as glance at them, stepping back just enough that both punches missed entirely. Using that opening, she lunged at the one on her right, grabbing his head firmly and smiling.

"W-wait...!" The boy broke into a cold sweat, staring at Kina, face drained of color. But Kina immediately kicked out his ankle, knocking his footing out from under him. With his head still locked in her grip, she slammed it down into a pile of flimsy cardboard boxes and wooden crates.

Brakk!

From behind, the remaining student grabbed an iron pipe and swung it hard at Kina’s head. But before it landed, Kina ducked her head down.

Woosh!

The pipe whistled through the air just above her, and Kina spun around, driving a kick straight into the boy’s stomach.

Baam!

"Kgah...!"

The boy’s body went flying.

Kina hesitated for a moment, then turned her gaze toward Roland.

"Hahahaha! Eat this, you damn bitch!"

Roland, looking desperate after watching his friends get taken down so pathetically, had a slanted pillar of fire spinning wildly in his hands. The room, which should have been cold and dark, had suddenly grown blisteringly hot and bright.

Before Roland could even unleash the attack, Kina vanished from where she stood, her body blurring out of existence, leaving Roland frozen in shock.

"H-huh!? Where...! Flash Step!?"

By the time he registered it, it was already too late. Kina appeared behind him, raised her hand, and struck him hard across the throat.

"Gwehk...!"

His tongue shot out involuntarily. The skill he’d been building up shattered into pieces and vanished entirely, and his body went flying sideways, crashing into the pile of cardboard boxes and crates.

"Aghk...! Gah, hah...!"

Every single one of them, taken down effortlessly by Kina. And, after all that, was it finally over?

No.

"I’m still not satisfied."

Kina still looked thoroughly irritated.
