The Demon Queen had no answers to any of these questions. Still, wherever she could, she just managed by nodding her head with a simple ’yes’ or ’no’.

But honestly, she was moving at a snail’s pace, dragging out one word at a time, almost as if she was waiting for Himanshu to jump in and save her.

"Mom, she’s from Ashgrove."

In a total panic, Himanshu blurted out the name of a city he’d heard in some Hollywood movie on TV. He literally didn’t have a single second to think.

"Oh? Where’s that?" his mom asked. "I’ve never heard of it."

"Mom, don’t you think you’re interrogating her a bit too much?" Himanshu tried to deflect. "Look, she isn’t even dressed properly yet."

The Demon Queen gave his mom a weird, forced smile.

"Alright, you get ready," his mom said. "And leave this breakfast, Himanshu will eat it. I’ll go make your favorite food instead."

Saying that, his mom started heading out of the room.

Right along with his mom, Himanshu started tiptoeing slowly toward the door.

Maybe I should just leave for school now... he thought to himself.

But right then... he felt a heavy grip on his shoulder from behind.

"Boyfriend... won’t you help me a little?"

The anger in the Demon Queen’s voice was crystal clear.

Cold sweat broke out on Himanshu’s forehead. He swallowed his fear with a hard gulp.

"Y-yeah... why not."

The second his mom stepped out and the sound of the door clicking shut echoed, a loud smack rang through the room.

Bam!

Well... that was totally expected.

"I had to do all this because of you!" the Demon Queen yelled, grabbing Himanshu by the collar and lifting him into the air.

Himanshu had already taken a solid punch to his left eye, which was now completely swollen.

"I didn’t have any other choice!" Himanshu groaned in pain.

"You could have just said we were friends!" the Demon Queen shouted.

"I couldn’t help it!" Himanshu begged. "Anyway... because of this relationship, this house is practically yours now. Until you go back to your world, you can stay here."

The Demon Queen pulled him even closer. "Listen here. If you ever try to pull any smart tricks on me, I won’t even leave you able to walk."

Saying that, she jerked his collar and dropped him.

Himanshu fell straight to the floor. Holding his swollen eye, he somehow managed to stand up. Trying to console himself, he muttered, "Well... this was bound to happen."

The Demon Queen sniffed the clothes kept on the bed.

"Turn around."

"What?"

"Turn around, I need to get dressed."

"Yeah, yeah." Himanshu quickly turned toward the door.

"Now tell me about this world," the Demon Queen’s voice came from behind, "so I can answer your mother’s questions."

Himanshu honestly didn’t know what he was supposed to tell her. As far as the Demon Queen was concerned, she had figured out a few things about this world and completely missed others. But still, Himanshu quickly gave her a rundown—a fake backstory, her name, how they met, and how there was no magic here, just science. He explained all the basics.

Right then, Himanshu tried to turn around to say something.

But instantly, a wet towel came flying at high speed and smacked him right on the head!

"Do you want to get beaten up again?"

"Ah... I forgot. Okay," Himanshu quickly turned back to face the door.

A few seconds later, she said, "Done."

"What? So fast?" Himanshu turned around. "Did you wear them inside out or something?"

"Do you think I don’t even know how to put on clothes?"

Himanshu just stood there staring at her.

His mom’s clothes looked way too tight on the Demon Queen. Especially around the chest and back area. The fabric was literally stretched to its absolute limit across her curves, and it looked like it was about to rip any second.

Himanshu awkwardly lowered his eyes and said, "These are a bit too tight. They might just tear."

The Demon Queen had somehow managed to squeeze into those clothes using her physical strength. But there literally wasn’t even room to breathe in them. Himanshu’s comment just pissed her off again.

As she took a deep, angry breath...

Riiiiip!

The loud sound of tearing fabric echoed in the small room.

Himanshu quickly looked toward the sound. That tight fabric had torn completely, exposing her heavy chest. Her nipples, which had turned red from the tight clothing, were now clearly visible.

The exact millisecond the fabric ripped, Himanshu’s eyes went wide with shock, but before his brain could even process the view, he slammed his eyes shut and quickly whipped back around to face the wall.

"I-I’m not looking! I swear I didn’t see anything!" Himanshu panicked, keeping his back stiffly toward her.

"S-sorry! Your physical strength is way too much for normal clothes," Himanshu stammered, keeping his face hidden in his hands for his own safety.

A heavy silence took over the room.

The Demon Queen stood there, her arms crossed over her exposed chest, just staring at Himanshu’s back.

"If Mom’s clothes are too tight, just wear mine. They’re in the other closet. Hopefully, they don’t stink."

After a few weird moments, the Demon Queen finally put on Himanshu’s baggy clothes.

"Done."

Himanshu’s oversized T-shirt reached straight down to her knees. In those loose, baggy clothes, instead of a terrifying queen, she looked like a cute teenager.

Before walking out of the room, Himanshu wrapped that same white towel around her hair like a turban again to keep her horns hidden. He also handed his phone to the Demon Queen.

Himanshu turned on the phone’s voice search mic and said, "If you speak into this and ask anything, this magic box will give you the answer."

The Demon Queen had a little trouble figuring it out at first, but by now she had stopped getting shocked by every new thing. To her, this glowing thing was nothing less than a magical genie.

About half an hour later, the Demon Queen—wearing Himanshu’s huge clothes—and Himanshu walked down the stairs together into the dining area.

His mom had actually made the Demon Queen’s favorite food. To be honest, whatever the comic book author liked, he just made that the Demon Queen’s favorite food. At first, the Demon Queen couldn’t even believe a human mom could cook her royal favorite dish, but the delicious smell coming from the kitchen literally made her mouth water.

The Demon Queen was just copying whatever Himanshu did at every single step. Taking cues from a mere creep was enough to piss her off, but this was the easiest way to blend in and avoid drawing unwanted attention.

Following Himanshu’s lead, the Demon Queen also sat down on a dining chair.

His mom came out of the kitchen with the food. She placed both plates on the dining table.

"Taste this and tell me how it is."

Himanshu eagerly reached out toward one of the plates. But right then, his mom gave the back of his hand a light slap.

"I didn’t make this for you," she said in a strict tone.

And at that exact moment, his mom’s eyes landed on Himanshu’s face.

"Wait a second... what happened to your eye? It was perfectly fine a little while ago!"

"What?" Himanshu pulled his hand back, putting on an innocent face, and just stared at her. How could someone change so much in a single day?

Without waiting for Himanshu’s answer, his mom instantly turned toward the Demon Queen and said with total sweetness, "Taste it and tell me, sweetheart."

"Fine."

As soon as the Demon Queen started eating... food made by mere human hands... she took her first small bite, and her eyes went slightly wide. This... this is even better than my royal chef’s food!

Seeing the Demon Queen genuinely enjoying the food, his mom looked at her closely.

"Honey... why do you still have that towel wrapped around your hair?"
