They immediately averted their gazes toward the thick walls of the dungeon. They played dumb, as if ignoring the situation entirely in order to evade any and all responsibility for their own actions.

"They were competing to see who should carry the relic." Alicia explained with a simple gesture of her hands.

"Basically, they were playing rock, paper, scissors, and whoever ended up without any clothes first would be the definitive loser. Then she would be forced to take the relic to Kallistia."

The assistant detailed the highly vulgar rules of the game they had invented to pass the time during his absence.

Ryan sighed with sheer annoyance and brought his hand behind the nape of his neck.

He rubbed his skin with his dark glove, feeling a massive headache forming from dealing with his women’s ridiculous antics.

"Are they completely stupid?" He murmured in a low voice, questioning himself regarding the highly ridiculous situation he had just put a stop to.

Helen approached Ryan, planting herself completely face-to-face with him.

Her bare thighs brushed right against the heavy fabric of the boy’s trench coat while she raised her face toward him with a prominent pout.

"It is entirely your fault, you left for an entire day, I was extremely worried, you know?"

The warrior complained to him, displaying the sheer anxiety she had accumulated during all those hours without knowing his exact whereabouts.

"I didn’t want to go to Kallistia, I wanted to go look for you." She argued, actively justifying her flat refusal to travel far away from the safe zone.

And then she turned her head right toward Ivis, locking a highly murderous glare upon the figure of the horned woman accompanying him.

"You better have taken very good care of him." Helen added with a crystal-clear threat in her voice, jealously marking her territory.

Ivis completely ignored her and averted her gaze directly toward the high ceiling of the place.

Morrisen’s dragoness didn’t even bother to return eye contact to a human she considered entirely inferior.

"Do not dare speak to me, you impure, exhibitionist woman." The dragoness replied with a voice fully loaded with pure disgust and deep contempt.

"You little..." Helen growled, losing her temper instantly.

She was about to launch herself straight at Ivis with her fists tightly clenched, fully willing to strike her for the direct insult regarding her nudity.

But Mirian grabbed her from behind, wrapping her arms securely around the warrior’s waist to completely halt her advance.

"Just shut up already." She held her with even more force, digging her fingers deep into the soft skin of Helen’s abdomen.

"It is entirely your fault that Ryan took a whole day to arrive, isn’t that completely true, Ryan?"

Mirian asked, looking at him with a highly sharp smile, perfectly remembering the exact situation Helen had caused right before he left.

Helen seemed to feel something akin to a sharp pang in her chest at Mirian’s crude accusation.

The guilt hit her full force as she remembered exactly how her own actions had massively delayed the party’s plans. And she held herself back immediately, letting her arms drop heavily to her sides and surrendering completely in her fight against the dragoness.

"I was deeply worried anyway." Helen murmured, lowering her gaze straight down toward the stone of the floor.

Ryan let out a very deep breath, filling his lungs entirely with the freezing air of the dungeon.

"You are completely hopeless. Get dressed already." He ordered firmly, cleanly shutting down the useless discussion of pure jealousy once and for all.

"Alicia, do you currently have that relic with you?" He asked, extending his open hand directly toward the assistant.

"Yes, Your Majesty." She said without the slightest hesitation.

She reached her hand deep into the only pocket she had left on her skirt and pulled it out highly carefully.

And she placed it directly onto the palm of his glove.

Ryan took it in his hands, bringing it right up to eye level in order to inspect it closely beneath the light.

The size was exactly as he had specifically requested from his creators in the past. It looked exactly like a small silver earring, very finely polished, which could very easily pass for a completely defenseless, low-level piece of jewelry.

Ivis approached Ryan, heavily moved by the magical intrigue of the object.

She planted her reptilian eyes firmly on the earring with profound curiosity, actively attempting to read the tiny runes deeply engraved into the metal.

"Exactly what is that, human?" She asked, entirely unable to decipher its true purpose.

Ryan looked at her with a slight smile forming on his face, thoroughly enjoying the highly powerful dragoness’s clear ignorance.

"This is a long-distance communication relic."

"So incredibly small? I have never seen one like it." She said with immense strangeness in her voice.

She moved much closer to look at it, almost completely brushing against Ryan’s shoulder, utterly amazed by the sheer compression of so many magical arrays into something so incredibly tiny.

"I had absolutely no idea you had such highly impressive blacksmiths at your service." The dragon girl added, openly acknowledging the creator’s pure talent.

"Naturally." Ryan said with total smugness, elevating his chin with pure pride in his party’s incredible skills.

Then he looked at Alicia, actively retaking control of the imminent journey’s logistics.

"Then, the current problem is that there was absolutely no one to take the relic to Kallistia, isn’t that right?"

"That is exactly right, Your Majesty." Alicia nodded, perfectly maintaining her completely straight posture right in front of him.

"They were all tied, so it still had not been completely decided exactly who would go." The assistant clarified regarding the unfinished game.

Ryan took a firm step forward, cleanly breaking the distance separating him from his heroines.

They had already hastily put their clothes right back on, fully covering their large breasts and thighs, and they approached him in complete silence.

"Then, as a punishment, I will personally decide exactly which one of you will go."

Ryan let out with a highly malicious smile, thoroughly enjoying the sudden, sharp tension and the pure fear that instantly appeared right in the girls’ eyes.
