Morning has come, and the soft pink light of dawn filters through the large window overlooking the veranda of the chalet bedroom where they decided to spend the night.

Outside, fresh snow has covered everything overnight, blanketing the rooftops and treetops in a thick layer of white.

Despite Axel insisting that they actually get some sleep after their evening of sex involving fruit and desserts, they ended up getting maybe three hours at most.

He had barely fallen asleep when he was suddenly woken by Melania’s lips and tongue wrapped around his cock.

Melania rubs her eyes and slowly opens them as the morning light filtering through the drawn curtains brushes against her bare skin.

"A-Axel, my love... what happened...? And why are you dressed like that...?" she mumbles, still half-asleep.

Sitting beside her on the mattress, Axel looks at her with a gentle expression, but there’s a hint of sadness in his eyes. They’re glossy and slightly red, as if he’s about to cry — or has only just stopped.

He’s bundled up in a heavy, brand-new ski suit.

"You’re really beautiful when you sleep, you know?" he murmurs, gently stroking her hair.

"Only when I’m asleep...?" she grumbles, pretending to be offended. "Anyway... are you going to tell me what’s wrong...? You look like you’re about to burst into tears..."

"Oh, it’s nothing. Probably just because I barely slept. I told you we should’ve gotten some rest since we’ve got a lot to do today. And one of those things is skiing, so get out of bed and get dressed. We’re already late," he says, handing her a thick pink ski suit.

"How about giving me a proper good morning before I get dressed...?" she suggests with a mischievous smile, spreading her thighs.

"We’ll have sex later. This stuff takes forever to put on, and I don’t feel like taking it off just to put it all back on again. Besides, I already told you we’re late. If you’d listened to me instead of waking me up in the middle of the night for sex, we could’ve had our usual morning fuck. But now we really don’t have time."

"Ugh... I guess you don’t like me anymore... Don’t tell me there’s another woman...?"

Axel shoots her a glare.

"Quit talking bullshit and get dressed."

"Okay, okay... But there’s one big problem. I don’t know how to ski!"

"So what? I didn’t know how to ski either until someone taught me. It’s a lot easier than it looks."

"If you say so..."

A little while later, the shuttle picks them up outside the chalet and drops them off at the bottom of the ski slope.

As soon as they get there, Axel suddenly drops to one knee in front of Melania.

Her face instantly turns bright red. She brings her hands to her chest as her heart starts pounding like crazy.

"A-Axel... don’t tell me you’re really about to ask me to marry you...? T-This... this is the happiest day of my life! Yes, yes, yes...!" she exclaims, her voice trembling with excitement.

And she’s not the only one getting carried away. Even the other skiers nearby start applauding and congratulating them.

"Actually, I was just fastening your boots to the skis..." Axel mutters in the awkward tone of someone who doesn’t have the heart to ruin the moment.

Making things even more embarrassing for him, a whole crowd of women has already gathered around Melania to congratulate her.

Fuck, all we’re missing now is the mayor of Aspen showing up to officiate the wedding...

"You’re such a heartless asshole! How could you get my hopes up like that?!" Melania snaps.

"How is this my fault? You did all that on your own..."

Once he finishes securing Melania’s boots to her skis, he moves on to his own, all while the women around them mutter in support of Melania and call him an asshole.

"Alright," he says, getting back to his feet. "First rule: don’t rush. Second rule: try not to break anything when you fall."

"Oh, yeah. Very helpful. I feel like I’ve learned so much already..." she mutters, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Her first few attempts are a complete disaster.

She tries to push herself forward, but her skis either spread into a V or cross over each other. Within seconds, she loses her balance and lands face-first in the snow.

Axel bends down and holds out his hand.

"Come on. Again."

He helps her back up and adjusts her stance, placing his hands on her hips to correct her posture.

"Bend your knees a little... like that. Look ahead, not down."

Melania refuses to give up and tries again.

This time, she manages to glide for about ten meters before leaning too far to one side and falling again, landing on her hip.

Axel is already beside her. He helps her back to her feet and brushes the snow off her with a few affectionate pats.

"Melania, this isn’t a race. We’re here to spend time together and do something different for once. It doesn’t matter if it takes us all morning just to make it twenty meters."

"Ugh... it looked so much easier when everyone else was doing it... Okay, let’s try again!"

Over the next few hours, Axel keeps teaching her patiently despite her countless falls and rather slow progress.

At first, he stays close and holds her by the arm. Once she learns to keep her balance, he starts gliding a little ahead to show her how to move.

Eventually, Melania even manages to cover a decent stretch without falling.

When she finally stops, she turns toward him with her eyes shining with excitement.

"Did you see that, love? I made it almost fifty meters all by myself!"

Axel skis over to her and tucks a loose strand of pink hair back under her helmet.

"You did really well, Melania. See? It wasn’t that hard after all. You just have to stay focused and listen."

"I’m still a succubus, you know! If humans can do it, there’s no way I can’t! Anyway... when did you learn to ski so well?"

"My mother taught me. When I was younger, she didn’t trust me to stay home alone, so she used to take me along on her business trips. At least three times a year, she had important meetings with a Swiss banker, and she taught me during those trips."

"Wow... who would’ve thought the most powerful Archwitch in the multiverse could also be such a loving mother?"

"Well, as you know, back then I didn’t even know she was a witch. Looking back, I’m glad she waited so long to tell me the whole truth. I probably wouldn’t have enjoyed my teenage years nearly as much if I’d known everything from the start. Anyway, enough talking. Fifty meters is a good start, but you can do a lot better than that. Let’s keep going."
