My Husband Is An International Idol
Chapter 76: Preparing for Global DominationThree weeks passed in the blink of an eye.
Although the investigation into Carl De Vera remained active, life at St. Claire Entertainment could not come to a standstill. Victor Reyes, Sarah Clifford, and a special task force continued working with the police and international investigators, chasing every lead they could find. Yet Carl had vanished without leaving behind a single trace, as though he had never existed at all.
Matthew refused to let fear dictate the company’s future.
"The best way to answer those who wish to destroy us," he told the executives during a board meeting, "is to keep moving forward."
Those words quickly became everyone’s motivation.
Instead of slowing down, St. Claire Entertainment entered one of its busiest seasons in years.
The overwhelming support from the public after the press conference had transformed Chris and Liliana into one of the most sought-after celebrity pairs in the entertainment industry. Luxury fashion houses, jewelry companies, cosmetic brands, and international magazines competed for the opportunity to work with them.
Every morning, Robin’s office received another stack of contracts from companies across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Even Matthew couldn’t hide his surprise.
"I’ve never seen this many partnership proposals arrive within a single month," he admitted while flipping through another folder.
Robin smiled.
"They’re not just interested in Chris anymore."
He placed another contract on the table.
"They want Chris and Liliana together."
Matthew chuckled softly.
"The public loves stories."
Robin nodded.
"And right now..."
"They’re the biggest story in entertainment."
Meanwhile, another piece of exciting news was beginning to spread throughout the company.
Pulse’s highly anticipated world tour would soon arrive in France, one of the largest stops of the entire tour. Tens of thousands of fans had already purchased tickets, while millions more were expected to watch online.
However, Pulse wouldn’t be the only ones standing on that stage.
Rhythm would finally make its first public performance.
Although it wasn’t yet their official debut, Matthew believed there was no better place to introduce the company’s newest idol group than in front of Pulse’s international audience.
Excitement spread through the trainee department almost instantly. Every rehearsal room echoed with music from early morning until late at night.
The members of Rhythm practiced every dance movement repeatedly, determined not to waste the opportunity they had been given.
One mistake and one missed beat could become international news.
Chris often passed by their practice room after finishing his own rehearsals. Watching the younger idols reminded him of himself years ago.
Sweaty and nervous, desperate to prove they deserved to stand on stage.
Leo folded his arms as they watched Rhythm rehearse.
"They remind me of us."
Chris smiled.
"We were worse."
River laughed.
"We nearly started a fire with the stage effects during rehearsal."
Aaron grinned.
"And Leo forgot half the choreography."
"I did not."
"You absolutely did."
Their laughter echoed through the hallway, easing some of the pressure weighing on the younger performers.
Not far away, another team was working just as hard.
Liliana and Nicolo had been chosen as the faces of a prestigious European luxury campaign. It would be their first overseas endorsement together.
For Liliana, it marked another milestone she had never imagined possible.
Only months earlier, she had quietly lived in Sterling Village, believing her dreams had already ended.
Now, she was preparing to represent an international fashion house in Paris. Sometimes, the reality still felt unbelievable.
As she stood before a mirror during one of the fitting sessions, she quietly stared at her own reflection.
Emily noticed.
"Nervous?"
Liliana smiled sheepishly.
"A little."
Emily walked behind her and gently adjusted the collar of her elegant cream-colored coat.
"You’re going to do great."
Liliana laughed softly.
"What if I trip?"
Emily rolled her eyes dramatically.
"Then you’ll stand up."
"What if I forget how to pose?"
Emily smiled.
"Then Nicolo will probably make a joke until you laugh."
Liliana couldn’t help smiling.
Emily’s expression softened.
"You belong here now, Lily."
Those simple words warmed Liliana’s heart more than Emily realized.
Across the room, Nicolo was being measured for another custom-made suit.
He looked toward Liliana and raised an eyebrow.
"Still worrying?"
She nodded honestly.
He smiled.
"You survived your first runway. You also survived the press conference and the internet."
He shrugged playfully.
"I think Paris will be easier."
Liliana laughed.
"I hope you’re right."
Elsewhere inside St. Claire Entertainment, Emily’s schedule had become almost impossible to manage.
As the official stylist for Pulse, Rhythm, and the company’s top models, she barely had enough time to sit down.
Garment bags filled every corner of her studio.
Sketches covered the walls.
Fabric samples, accessories, shoes, and jewelry occupied every available table.
Emily stood in the middle of the organized chaos with measuring tape draped around her neck.
"No..."
She frowned at one of the jackets.
"This color washes Chris out."
She immediately reached for another.
"And this one doesn’t match Liliana’s dress."
One assistant carefully approached her.
"Miss Emily..."
"You haven’t eaten lunch."
Emily looked at the clock.
It was already four in the afternoon.
She blinked.
"...Seriously?"
Her assistant sighed.
"You’ve said that three days in a row."
Emily laughed awkwardly.
"I’ll eat after this fitting."
The assistant exchanged a knowing look with everyone else.
They had all heard that promise before.
Not far from Emily’s studio, Mary was facing challenges of her own.
As the manager responsible for Pulse, Rhythm, Chris, Liliana, and Nicolo, her office had transformed into mission control.
Flight schedules, hotel reservations, security arrangements, television interviews, brand campaigns and concert rehearsals.
Everything depended on perfect timing.
Mary stared at the enormous itinerary displayed across the wall.
"France..." She quietly murmured. "This trip cannot fail."
She immediately picked up her phone.
"Double-check airport security."
Another call.
"Confirm the hotel floor reservations."
Another.
"I want backup transportation prepared."
Carl De Vera remained missing.
That fact alone was enough to make everyone extra cautious.
No one was willing to take unnecessary risks.
As evening approached, Chris walked through the company garden after finishing rehearsal.
He noticed Liliana sitting quietly beneath a flowering tree, reading through her campaign notes.
She looked peaceful.
The gentle breeze lifted a few strands of her long hair as the setting sun bathed the garden in warm golden light.
Chris couldn’t stop smiling.
Liliana looked up and noticed him.
"Finished already?"
He nodded before sitting beside her.
"Nervous about France?"
She closed her folder.
"A little."
Chris laughed softly.
"So am I."
Liliana looked at him in surprise.
"You?"
He nodded.
"It’s my first time performing there with someone I’ll be secretly worrying about."
Her cheeks warmed.
"You don’t have to worry."
Chris smiled.
"I know."
A comfortable silence settled between them.
Around them, preparations for France continued at full speed. Every department inside St. Claire Entertainment worked tirelessly toward the same destination.
France wasn’t simply another stop on the schedule. It was the beginning of something much greater.
The beginning of a new Chapter.
Pulse would continue proving why they were labeled global superstars. Rhythm would take its first step toward becoming the industry’s next sensation.
Liliana Sterling would finally stand on an international stage—not as someone chasing a forgotten dream, but as a woman who had quietly become one of the brightest stars in the world.
None of them realized...
That while they were preparing for global domination...
Someone else was quietly preparing for his next move.
