Liang Cheng held his breath, his focus absolute. He remained hidden in the shadows, watching the events unfold with a cold detachment.

The green-robed young man sprinted toward the patch of Dark Blue Moss at the base of the cliff. He waved his White Bone Banner, and a gray beam of light shot out, disappearing into a crevice in the rock beneath the moss.

An intense blue light immediately erupted from the crevice!

A dark blue pearl, the size of a pigeon’s egg, slowly floated out. A liquid appeared to be swirling within it.

"The Yin Marrow Pearl!"

A look of ecstasy flashed in the green-robed young man’s eyes as he reached out to grab it.

But in that instant, everything changed again!

The Mountain-Devouring Ghost Ape, which had appeared to be trapped by the three men, suddenly revealed a glint of cunning in its crimson eyes. It opened its massive maw and brought its palms crashing down!
