"Something like that, but a little different. I’ll find a picture later, and you can just order based on that," Chu Feng said.

"Okay." Su Miaoke nodded.

Afterward, the two found someone online to custom-make an alchemy furnace, and production began that very evening.

As long as the money was right, there were people willing to work overtime.

After dinner, Chu Feng and Su Miaoke went straight to the warehouse.

The warehouse was very large and was further divided into three smaller storerooms.

One and a half of them were already filled with all sorts of medicinal herbs.

Su Miaoke drove to the warehouse and, after showing Chu Feng around, asked, "Honey, take a look. Will these medicinal herbs be enough for you for a while?"

A smile spread across Chu Feng’s face as he looked at the herbs. "More than enough. How much did all these herbs cost in total?"

"In total, it’s probably around a billion. The rare medicinal herbs are the most expensive part," Su Miaoke said.

"That’s not bad. Darling, don’t be fooled by how many herbs are in the warehouse now. Once they’re actually refined, there won’t be much left. The essence is very, very scarce," Chu Feng said.

"But no matter how little, there has to be a decent amount, right? All the herbs in this warehouse must weigh several dozen tons combined," Su Miaoke said with a frown.

"Take this herb, for example. When you actually refine it down to its essence, one ton will probably yield a small vial at most—maybe around ten milliliters," Chu Feng explained.

"Huh? No way! A whole ton only refines down to ten milliliters?" Su Miaoke was shocked.

A single ton of herbs was worth tens of millions, yet it could only produce ten milliliters of medicinal liquid. No wonder Chu Feng needed to buy so much.

"Exactly. Why do you think the disciples of those Martial Arts Families are so powerful? They’re literally built on money. The cost of the medicinal liquids for cultivation alone is more than what an ordinary family can bear," Chu Feng said.

"By the way, when will the alchemy furnace arrive?" Chu Feng asked.

"It’ll probably take another two or three days. Since we needed so many, I went ahead and ordered twenty of them. They’re two million each, all completely handmade," Su Miaoke said.

"Alright, we’ll wait then. Hey, since we have nothing to do right now, want to go see your little brother?" Chu Feng suddenly asked.

"Sure. I haven’t seen that kid in a while," Su Miaoke said with a nod.

Chu Feng then drove, with Su Miaoke, toward the place where Su Jun worked.

When the car stopped at the gate, the security guard recognized Chu Feng and greeted him. Chu Feng had bought him a few packs of cigarettes before, so the two were on familiar terms.

So, he didn’t stop them and let Chu Feng and Su Miaoke drive right in.

Although the factory was quite large, its management was actually rather lax. As long as you had good connections and didn’t cause trouble, things were fine.

When Chu Feng and Su Miaoke walked into the factory area, they saw Su Jun at work.

The roar of machinery echoed continuously, and the workshop was filled with busy people.

Su Jun, who was usually a slacker, was now working diligently. He had been on the job for a while now without any complaints, which greatly surprised Su Miaoke.

Although Su Jun’s complexion was a bit duller and his face looked a little weary, his body was much more solid.

"If Mom saw this, she’d probably burst into tears on the spot and drag my brother home, believe it or not," Su Miaoke said.

"I believe it. But a young man has to endure some hardship. He needs to experience what life is really like," Chu Feng said.

"Should we go over and say hi?" Su Miaoke asked.

"Let’s not. The kid has finally settled into his job. What if we go over and distract him, messing up his focus?" Chu Feng said.

Just as they were about to leave, a young woman suddenly walked up to Su Jun, handed him a bottle of water, and even wiped the sweat from his brow.

"Whoa, the kid’s already in a relationship?" Chu Feng was surprised.

"No way. That was fast, wasn’t it?" Su Miaoke was also surprised. She never thought her brother would find a girlfriend here.

’He hasn’t even been at the factory that long.’

"Isn’t it a good thing that it’s fast? It’ll save you from your mom’s constant nagging," Chu Feng said.

"Yeah. If Mom found out, she’d probably be ecstatic," Su Miaoke said.

"That girl is pretty. Her figure, height, and looks are all good. Most importantly, you can tell she’s the simple, down-to-earth type who knows how to live frugally. My mom loves that kind of girl," Su Miaoke said.

"Yeah, you can tell she’s a very nice girl," Chu Feng said with a nod.

After giving Su Jun the water and exchanging a few words, the young woman left happily.

Su Miaoke and Chu Feng followed to take a look and found that the girl and Su Jun weren’t in the same department. One worked in assembly, the other was tightening screws.

"How much longer until they get off work?" Su Miaoke asked, her eyes practically glued to the girl.

"Another nineteen minutes. Then they get off for their meal break," Chu Feng said after a glance at the time.

"How about we wait and invite the young lady to dinner with us? We can let Mom see her too," Su Miaoke suddenly suggested.

"Er... you haven’t even confirmed if she and Su Jun are actually dating. You should at least figure out the situation first," Chu Feng said.

"Then call him and ask. I’m going to tell Mom the news first and make her happy," Su Miaoke said.

"Mm," Chu Feng nodded and then dialed Su Jun’s number.

"Brother-in-law, what made you think to call me?" Su Jun answered the phone cheerfully.

He was, to say the least, extremely satisfied with his brother-in-law.

"No special reason, just calling to see how you’ve been lately," Chu Feng asked.

"Great! Turns out tightening screws can be pretty fun," Su Jun said with a laugh.

"You’ve started dating someone, haven’t you, kid?" Chu Feng asked.

"Brother-in-law, you’re amazing! How did you know? To be honest, I did find a girlfriend here. She’s a great person—very pretty and gentle, completely different from the girls I’ve met before," Su Jun said with a smile.

"So when are you planning to get married?" Chu Feng asked directly.

"Huh? Married? Brother-in-law, isn’t that a little premature? We just started dating. Oh, and brother-in-law, you absolutely can’t let my sister know! If she knows, Mom will definitely find out. And if Mom finds out, she’ll come looking for me right away," Su Jun said urgently.

"Mm, just focus on work for now. Wait till you get your paycheck," Chu Feng said.

"Don’t worry, brother-in-law. For the G-Wagon you bought me, I have to see this through no matter what," Su Jun said with a laugh.
