Kaiser read through the upgraded skill’s entire description.
[Purifying Radiance]
[Rank: Unique]
[Type: Light Magic / Support]
[Description: Generates extremely powerful pure radiance capable of purifying negative energies, harmful effects, corruption, curses, and hostile influences.]
[Effect 1: Absolute Purification]
Removes poison, paralysis, bleeding, curses, corruption, darkness-based effects, weakening effects, mental interference, and other negative status conditions.
The skill can also remove stronger persistent negative effects and weaken their ability to return.
The effectiveness depends on the difference between the user’s power and the strength of the negative effect.
[Effect 2: Sacred Radiance]
The user can release concentrated purifying light as an offensive attack.
Deals greatly increased damage to undead, darkness-type creatures, corrupted beings, and other creatures vulnerable to Light or purification.
The attack can also weaken defensive abilities based on darkness, corruption, curses, or negative energy.
[Effect 3: Radiant Protection]
Creates a layer of purifying radiance around the user or an ally.
The protection continuously purifies weaker negative effects while reducing incoming damage caused by poison, curses, corruption, darkness, and other harmful energies.
[Effect 4: Purification Field]
Creates a large area of purifying radiance around the user.
Allies within the field gradually recover from negative effects, while hostile corrupted and undead creatures are continuously damaged.
Weaker negative effects are automatically removed upon entering the field.
[Additional Effect: Holy Recovery]
Allies affected by Purifying Radiance gradually recover Health and Mana while remaining within the radiance.
[Mana Cost: 2,500]
Kaiser finished reading the description, and a satisfied smile appeared on his face.
"This is much better."
The upgraded skill was no longer limited to simply removing negative effects. It could protect his allies, damage enemies, weaken darkness and corruption, heal Health and Mana, and even deal with certain forms of mental or soul interference.
"Definitely worth using my last Reconstruction."
Kaiser leaned back against his bed and thought about everything he had accomplished.
"Now I have six Reconstruction uses every day, three Unique-Rank skills that have been upgraded into stronger forms, two stronger pets, and a Rank 9 Frost Dragon Egg."
His smile widened.
"Today was pretty productive."
He closed the skill screen and relaxed on his bed for a while.
"I’ll give the dragon egg to Dad this evening," he muttered.
He then picked up his phone and began searching for more information about the Cosmic World. He had already learned quite a bit about it, but he wanted to understand the place better before going there.
After all, this would be his first proper visit.
He planned to leave after giving the Frost Dragon Egg to his father.
Time passed quickly, and evening soon arrived.
Kaiser left his room and walked downstairs. When he entered the living room, he saw his parents sitting together on the couch and watching television.
Myre, their Healing Dew Turtle, was resting comfortably on the table nearby.
Since his mother had stopped working at the hospital, she finally had more time to relax and spend with the family.
"Mom, Dad."
Both of them turned toward him and smiled.
"Come sit with us."
Kaiser walked over and sat down beside them.
"By the way, Dad, I found something good for you."
His father immediately looked at him with curiosity.
"Really?"
Kaiser nodded.
He opened his inventory and took out the Frost Dragon Egg before carefully placing it on the table.
His father looked at the large egg for a moment.
"Hmm. It looks like some kind of Ice-type creature. Nice."
He then pricked his finger and allowed a drop of blood to fall onto the egg.
The moment his blood touched the shell, it was immediately absorbed.
Cracks began spreading across the surface.
His father’s expression changed slightly.
At the same time, a powerful aura suddenly erupted from his body.
Mana surged through the living room as his strength rapidly returned.
His father had recovered his Rank 2, Level 289 power.
His mother smiled when she sensed the change.
"Congratulations. You got your powers back."
His father nodded as he slowly adjusted to the feeling of having his mana flowing through his body again.
"Thanks."
Meanwhile, the cracks on the Frost Dragon Egg continued spreading.
A few seconds later, the shell finally broke apart.
A tiny head emerged from inside.
His father stared at the creature.
"Hmm. Did you get an Ice Spine Lizard or something?"
He suddenly stopped.
Two small horns were visible on the creature’s head.
Then two tiny wings unfolded from its back.
The little creature slowly crawled out of the broken shell.
Both of Kaiser’s parents froze.
"What?!"
His father immediately stood up and stared at the newborn creature in disbelief.
It was clearly a dragon.
The tiny Frost Dragon completely ignored everyone around it.
Instead, it simply lowered its head and began eating the pieces of its own eggshell.
His father slowly turned toward Kaiser with an incredulous expression.
"Kai, why didn’t you tell me you had something this valuable?"
He looked genuinely distressed.
"You should have formed the bond with it yourself!"
His expression became even more serious.
"Kai, are you an idiot?"
His mother also immediately joined in.
"Why would you give your father such a powerful creature?"
She glanced at the little Frost Dragon before continuing.
"You know that once a bonded beast forms a bond with someone, it can’t simply be transferred to another person."
Kaiser remained completely calm.
"Don’t worry. I know what I’m doing."
He smiled at his parents.
"I can always find another powerful creature. Besides, I’m going to find powerful creatures for both of you."
His parents stared at him.
"Just give me a few days, Mom. I’ll bring you another powerful creature too."
Kaiser then looked at his mother.
"And since you have a Light affinity, I’ll find you a powerful Light-type creature."
His father frowned.
"How can you be so sure you’ll find one?"
"Because of my talent."
Kaiser gave them a simple explanation.
"It’s a very unusual talent. I’ve already obtained several powerful treasures and creatures because of it. Even Selene, the powerful vampire you saw earlier, was something I obtained through my talent."
His father immediately remembered Selene and nodded slowly.
That explanation made some sense, although it still left him curious.
His mother, however, remained slightly concerned.
"You’re not lying to us, are you?"
Kaiser shook his head.
"No."
He smiled reassuringly.
"Just give me a few days. I’ll bring you another powerful creature. You can trust me."
His mother thought about it for a moment before finally nodding.
"Okay. I believe you."
His father also nodded, although his curiosity about Kaiser’s mysterious talent only increased.
He couldn’t help wondering whether that strange golden, goblin-like creature his son possessed was somehow connected to the unusual talent Kaiser had mentioned.
Kaiser then stood up.
"Alright, Mom, Dad. I’m going to the Cosmic World now."
His parents looked at him, while the little Frost Dragon continued happily chewing on its eggshells.
