The adventurer card also functioned as a money-storage card. However, it wasn’t real money. Instead, it was a special form of digital currency created and managed by the Adventurer’s Guild. Only the Adventurer’s Guild could deposit money into the card, while adventurers could use the stored funds to make purchases and payments.
After everything was settled, Kaiser and his parents left the Adventurer’s Guild.
As they walked through the city, Kaiser transferred all the money in his adventurer card to his parents. He also gave them some additional money.

His parents looked at the money before looking at him.
"Are you sure?" his mother asked.
Kaiser nodded.
"Of course. You don’t need to worry about money while you’re here."
His parents nodded.
"Alright. We’ll enjoy our time in the city."
They then went their separate ways.
As Kaiser walked away, his father suddenly looked at his back.
"Don’t tell me he also brought his girlfriend here?"
His mother immediately looked interested.
"What? Do you think that’s true?"
She looked toward Kaiser with shining eyes.
Her husband shrugged.
"We’ll see."
His mother nodded eagerly.
Meanwhile, Kaiser continued toward his hotel.
After some time, he arrived at his room.
Everything inside had already been arranged.
As soon as he entered, he saw Marina waiting for him.
Her face immediately lit up with a smile.
"Young Master, you’re finally back. I was starting to get bored. Shall we go out and eat?"
Kaiser looked at her for a moment before taking something out of his inventory.
It was her slave contract.
Marina looked at it curiously as Kaiser activated his mana.
The slave contract began to glow before slowly changing.
A moment later, it broke apart into particles of light and disappeared.
The slave contract between them had been completely dissolved.
However, the Mana Oath Marina had sworn to Kaiser still remained.
Because of the oath, she still couldn’t reveal Kaiser’s secrets or anything related to him to others.
Kaiser looked at her.
"You should be free now."
He had been prepared to deal with her if she showed any hostile intentions after the contract was removed.
However, Marina’s expression didn’t change at all.
She simply continued looking at him with her usual smile.
Kaiser was confused.
"What?"
He looked at the remains of the contract.
The contract had definitely been destroyed, and there was no connection between them anymore.
"Why isn’t it working?"
Marina tilted her head slightly.
"Because the slave contract was already broken when you evolved my class."
Kaiser looked at her.
"Then why are you still here?"
He couldn’t understand why she would willingly remain by his side after becoming free.
Marina smiled.
"Because I want to."
Kaiser stared at her.
Marina walked closer to him.
"I want to be yours, and I want you to be mine."
She paused before continuing.
"It was partly because of the contract at first, but that wasn’t the most important reason."
She looked directly at Kaiser.
"It was because you were kind to me. Even when you made me your slave, you never ordered me to do anything excessive."
"I was still conscious while I was under the slave contract. I could see and hear everything that happened, even though I couldn’t control my own body. So I know you never abused the contract."
She continued speaking calmly.
"With the contract, you could have easily forced me to do almost anything you wanted. But you never did."
Kaiser remained silent.
He couldn’t help but feel confused.
No. She wasn’t this forgiving before.
He thought about it for a moment.
Could this be another effect of my talent?
He remembered the monsters and other beings who had become extremely loyal to him after he reconstructed them.
At first, he had assumed they were loyal because they recognized his ability to increase their bloodline ranks.
But now he wasn’t so sure.

Kaiser looked at Marina.

Marina smiled.
"So that’s why, Young Master, I want to continue serving you."
Kaiser looked at her for a moment.
Then he sighed.
"Alright, then."
Marina’s smile widened.
"But you don’t need to call me Young Master anymore."
She looked at him with a confused expression.
"Don’t call you Young Master?"
Kaiser nodded.
"Just call me Kai. My friends call me that, and it feels strange hearing you call me Young Master all the time."
Marina thought about it for a moment before nodding.
"Okay, as you wish."
She smiled.
"Kai."
Kaiser nodded.
"Much better."
Marina smiled before leaning closer to him.
"By the way, Kaiser, are you here to take me with you to hunt, or are we going to have some more fun~~?" she whispered into his ear.
Kaiser looked at her and lightly flicked her forehead.
"My mom and dad are here. Just tell them you’re one of my friends. Then we’ll go to mountains together."
He paused before adding,
"Also, tell them that you were the one who created those contract summoning magic scrolls using your class, okay?"
Marina nodded, though she looked slightly disappointed.
"Why do you look so disappointed? Are you sure that was your first time last night?" Kaiser asked.
Marina nodded.
"Yes, but you’re addictive. I want more," she said, leaning toward him.
Kaiser stopped her.
"Later. We have more important things to do right now," he said.
Marina nodded reluctantly.
