Kaiser caught it.

He looked at the crystal for a moment before his eyes widened slightly.

"An inheritance core from a Tier 9 Heavenly Knight."

He nodded with satisfaction and stored it in his storage ring.

"Not bad."

A moment later, the surroundings began to change.

The world around Kaiser blurred.

His vision went dark for a few seconds.

When he opened his eyes again, he was standing inside the same half-submerged hall where he had first entered the Secret Realm.

Kaiser looked around.

"So the trial sends me back here after completing each section."

He turned toward the exit and walked out of the flooded hall.

Soon, he found himself standing inside the forest surrounding the Secret Realm.

Kaiser looked around carefully.

"Now, where should I go next?"

He snapped his fingers.

A ghastly white magic circle formed in front of him and then from it came out Rite.

His first Ghost Familiar.

The Deathstorm Hawk had grown considerably stronger over the past three years.

It was now a Tier 6 familiar.

Its wings had also become much larger.

Its body was now more than twenty meters long, and dark wind surrounded its wings.

Small cursed tornadoes constantly formed around its body before disappearing again.

Kaiser looked up at it.

"Rite, fly as high as you can."

"Keep watch over the area around me."

Rite let out a sharp cry before spreading its enormous wings.

Whoosh!

It quickly climbed into the sky.

Higher.

Higher.

Higher.

Soon, it became nothing more than a small black dot in the sky.

Kaiser activated his connection with Rite.

Through their familiar bond, he could clearly see everything beneath it.

His familiar’s enhanced reconnaissance ability allowed it to observe an area stretching more than a hundred miles around Kaiser.

Kaiser quietly examined the surroundings through Rite’s vision.

"Hmm, there are quite a lot of halls scattered around."

"Let’s go and check them all."

He immediately rushed toward the nearest hall.

As he approached, he jumped onto a nearby rock.

A dark vortex suddenly appeared beneath him.

A moment later, another undead emerged from the vortex.

It was a Black Mist Wyvern.

The ghostly wyvern had been captured by Kaiser in the Bone Forest several years ago.

Its body was made entirely of dark mist, with only a pair of glowing eyes visible within its head.

Unlike the larger undead in Kaiser’s legion, the Black Mist Wyvern specialized in speed.

Kaiser landed on its back.

"Move."

"Take me there as quickly as you can."

The Black Mist Wyvern let out a low roar before spreading its enormous wings.

Whoosh!

Its body instantly turned into a streak of black mist.

It flew through the forest at incredible speed, passing between the trees without slowing down.

Kaiser calmly stood on its back and continued observing the surrounding area through his connection with Rite.

The first hall was already visible in the distance.

"Let’s start with that one."

The Black Mist Wyvern increased its speed.

Within a few minutes, Kaiser arrived in front of the ancient structure.

The entrance was covered with thick vines and old stone statues.

Kaiser jumped down from the wyvern.

"Stay outside."

"Watch the surroundings."

The Black Mist Wyvern nodded and disappeared into the surrounding mist.

Kaiser looked at the dark entrance.

"Let’s see what kind of trial is waiting inside."

He stepped into the hall.

Months passed as Kaiser continued exploring the Secret Realm.

He moved from one ancient hall to another, completing trial after trial and collecting everything he could find.

He obtained weapons, armor, cultivation resources, inheritance crystals, rare materials, and many ancient records left behind by Henrich Lightheart.

Some of the trials were difficult, while others were relatively simple.

Kaiser’s undead legion also continued growing stronger as he explored the realm.

During his exploration, he naturally encountered several groups from the Light Church.

Since the two Churches were still enemies, Kaiser did not hesitate to fight them.

His undead quickly overwhelmed most of the Light Church disciples he encountered.

However, he eventually encountered someone far more troublesome.

Lucas Lightheart.

The descendant of Henrich Lightheart and the bearer of a Divine Mark comparable to Kaiser’s Divine Mark of the Tomb.

By that point, Lucas had already reached Tier 6.

However, Kaiser had a significant advantage.

He had accumulated a large number of powerful undead during his years on the front line.

Several Tier 7 and even Tier 8 undead surrounded him.

Lucas fought against them alone.

His Divine Mark of Radiance greatly strengthened his body and Light Mana, allowing him to fight enemies above his Tier.

For a while, he managed to hold his ground.

Kaiser watched the battle from a distance.

"He’s stronger than I expected."

Lucas continued fighting.

His radiant sword cut through several undead, but the destroyed undead were quickly replaced by others.

No matter how many he defeated, Kaiser could simply summon more.

Eventually, Lucas’s Mana began to run low.

His movements became slower.

Kaiser finally stepped forward.

"That’s enough."

The surrounding undead stopped attacking.

Lucas looked toward Kaiser.

"So you’re finally fighting me yourself."

Kaiser nodded.

"Yes."

The battle between the two Divine Mark bearers soon began.

Lucas’s radiant sword released powerful waves of Light Mana.

Kaiser responded with his Spectral Blade and various Death spells.

The difference in their numbers was no longer important.

The two fought across the ancient hall for several minutes.

In the end, Kaiser’s superior combat experience and larger arsenal of abilities gave him the advantage.

Lucas was eventually defeated.

Instead of killing him immediately, Kaiser used his Flames of the Soulless.

The blackish-white flames engulfed Lucas’s body.

His Divine Mark resisted strongly, but Kaiser’s talent gradually overwhelmed his soul.

After a long struggle, Lucas became one of Kaiser’s undead.

Kaiser looked at the fallen Holy Knight and shook his head.

"Another powerful undead."

With Lucas defeated, Kaiser continued exploring the Secret Realm.

Eventually, he reached the deepest part of the inheritance.

There, he obtained the final inheritance left behind by Henrich Lightheart.

The inheritance included several powerful techniques, treasures, and resources.

More importantly, Kaiser also obtained the core inheritance of a Tier 10 powerhouse.

At the very end, he discovered the remains of the Knight of Radiance himself.

Even after thousands of years, the corpse still contained an enormous amount of power.

Kaiser carefully collected the inheritance and stored the remains.

By then, almost a year had passed since the Secret Realm opened.

Kaiser had explored nearly every important area.

He had collected most of the valuable treasures left behind by Henrich Lightheart.

The Secret Realm was finally reaching its end.
