"What do you intend to do?" Titus Quinn squinted his eyes.

"What do I intend to do? Naturally, I intend to speak with actions just like you," Jane Rowan stepped aside, and inside the cabin stood several people, Caleb and many black-clad bodyguards!

"Master Quinn, long time no see," Caleb said, his hands casually tucked into his pockets, his gaze subtly skipping over Melody Thorne, "Today, you won’t be able to take her away!"

"Jane Rowan, you dare betray me?" Titus Quinn’s knuckles cracked with anger to the extreme!

"Betrayal? We are just mere mutual exploiters!"

"Jane Rowan, we can still negotiate," Titus Quinn’s expression changed; never had he expected Jane Rowan to collude with Caleb.

"I promise you, I promise to lock this woman up, we can return to how things were, I’ll satisfy whatever you want—I was good to you, you should remember that. Forget what I just said about you and Caleb—or we can return to Zetania, what do you say?"

Jane Rowan clenched her fists, she loved Titus Quinn, loved his methods of wooing women, so when Titus Quinn whispered those sweet nothings, she simply couldn’t resist.

"Miss Rowan, this man can use you once, he can use you a second time. Maybe if you go back with him now, he will immediately begin to dismantle the Rowan Family’s power. A wolf will never turn vegetarian!" Caleb reminded her.

"Alright."

Titus Quinn watched them argue back and forth, deeply aware that he could no longer escape, but he refused to return with this seductress Jane Rowan. He lifted Melody Thorne in his arms, "Don’t come any closer, or I’ll kill her!"

"Titus Quinn, do you think you still have a way out reaching this point? Don’t forget your current situation, regardless of where you take her, the outcome remains the same," Caleb stated the facts expressionlessly.

"Get me a parachute, I want a parachute!" Titus Quinn’s big hand clamped down on Melody Thorne’s neck, "Do you hear me? I want a parachute!"

"Titus Quinn!" Jane Rowan shouted sharply.

"Parachute!"

"Go get him a parachute!" Caleb ordered.

The parachute was tossed at Titus Quinn’s feet.

"Step back," Titus Quinn let Melody Thorne lean against the bed as he put on the parachute.

He scooped Melody Thorne into his arms and headed for the exit.

"Open the cabin door!"

The voices of quarrel buzzed around Melody Thorne’s ear, the effect of the drugs on her slowly wearing off, she squinted to see Caleb and Jane Rowan present, with a pair of arms pulling her toward the chilly aircraft door.

"Titus Quinn," Melody Thorne turned back to see the person pulling her, realizing they were heading toward the plane’s exit.

"Let me go, let me go!" Melody Thorne raised her head, striking the bottom of Titus Quinn’s chin with her forehead, curling her knee and aiming it at him.

Titus Quinn hadn’t anticipated Melody Thorne would suddenly wake up; caught off guard, she struck him in a vital spot, causing him to grimace as he pulled her towards the jump.
