My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!
Chapter 909 - 910: Found?Should she tell Jared Quinn?
"Madam, you have arrived," the respectful voice of the housekeeper came through.
"I’m here to check on little Chiamo. Melody just got back, and I’m worried she may not have much experience taking care of a child, so I came to take a look, just in case my granddaughter isn’t being well cared for," Mrs. Quinn smiled.
"Madam’s concern is understandable, but the young miss has been well taken care of lately, she’s even gained some weight, and the lady is becoming more skilled at looking after the young miss," the housekeeper replied.
"Is that so? I’ll go upstairs to have a look," Mrs. Quinn headed upstairs.
Melody Thorne pondered briefly before shutting down her computer. There was a chance that the person sending her videos could be Titus Quinn. What could he mean by sending these?
With her memory gone, she should be more cautious.
"Mom," Melody Thorne exited the bedroom and coincidentally ran into Mrs. Quinn as she was coming up.
"Ah, Melody, how are you? Are you feeling better recently? It’s been so many days, and Mom hasn’t visited you. If you feel uncomfortable anywhere, you should ask Dr. Mo to come and see you," Mrs. Quinn said, holding her hand, a hint of guilt in her eyes.
"Okay, Mom, you’re here to see little Chiamo, right?" Melody Thorne led Mrs. Quinn to Chiamo’s room.
"Oh, look, look, she’s indeed a bit chubbier than a few days ago," Mrs. Quinn laughed, hastily picking up Chiamo to soothe her. "Look at her temperament; it’s rare for girls to be this calm. She wakes up without crying or fussing."
"Yes, madam, the young miss just drank some milk, and even when she was alone, she didn’t cry or make a fuss. I just tied a balloon to her little bed, and she kept staring at it, much steadier than other children. I believe she must have inherited Master Jared’s temperament," the servant standing by replied.
"Yes, yes, whether she resembles Jared or Melody, it’s all good," Mrs. Quinn smiled.
No matter how she looked, Melody Thorne couldn’t fathom that Mrs. Quinn could be so cruel to her.
"The weather is dry right now, be sure to give the young miss plenty of water to sleep."
"I’ll go fetch some water now," the servant went downstairs.
Melody Thorne probingly looked at Mrs. Quinn, "Mom, I’ve heard there’s news about Titus Quinn recently, saying they’ll find him soon. My memory loss—does it have something to do with him?"
"What? They’ve found him?" Mrs. Quinn suddenly raised her voice, her face full of shock, her arms unconsciously shaking as she held little Chiamo. "Didn’t he die in a plane crash? How does he suddenly have news again?"
"That’s what Jared Quinn said. They’ve already locked in on his location, and he should be brought back in a few days," Melody Thorne squinted her beautiful eyes.
"Oh... oh, I see," Mrs. Quinn put little Chiamo back onto the small bed, appearing somewhat absent-minded.
"Mom, what’s wrong with you? Are you okay? Why do you look so pale?"
"It’s nothing, nothing, I’m fine, perhaps I caught a bit of a chill sleeping last night," Mrs. Quinn turned around, a bit flustered. "Melody, I just remembered I have some matters to attend to, so I’ll be leaving first. You stay home and rest well these days."
Watching Mrs. Quinn leave, the smile on Melody Thorne’s face gradually faded away. Losing memory doesn’t mean she’s foolish!
Is it true that the memory loss is really related to her?
"Every time Madam visits, she always leaves so hurriedly," the housekeeper chuckled.
Melody Thorne received a message on her phone: [Follow her, and you’ll know if the recording is real or fake!]
"Madam, should we prepare lunch now?"
