My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!
Chapter 967 - 970: Can You Show Some Decency? Her curves were perfectly outlined, her breathing a little heavy as he moved faster, slipping the wedding dress onto her and pulling up the zipper on her back.
In front of Melody Thorne was a fairly large mirror. She lifted her head—strapless wedding dress, layered petals cascading down, each petal dotted with diamonds, making the exposed skin look even whiter and more delicate. Below was a mermaid-tail design that hugged all the way up to the top of her thighs, and the very bottom was a complex tulle design, just enough to cover every single spot and mark on her body, not leaving a single one exposed.
Thinking of the hickey-covered spots she’d seen on herself this morning, then looking at the wedding dress she had on now, Melody turned her head, her face bright red.
"Jared Quinn, you did this on purpose, didn’t you? You saw the design of this wedding dress early this morning, and the marks you left on me last night were all perfectly planned to match this dress, weren’t they? You big jerk, you saw it and didn’t even let me look at it!"
As Melody spoke, she realized Jared Quinn had absolutely no intention of listening to her.
When this wedding dress was first finished, the designer had indeed reported to Jared Quinn right away, but he’d never managed to imagine what Melody would look like wearing it. Now, seeing her, seeing those curves wrapped in that white wedding dress, something inside him was surging—an urge to rip it to shreds, to tear it apart beneath him. This dress was simply too perfect for Melody.
The quiet fitting room gradually filled with the sound of heavy breathing.
"Jared Quinn, you’re not allowed to keep staring, this is a bridal shop," Melody slapped a hand over his eyes. "Hurry up, or people outside will get the wrong idea about what we’re doing in here."
"They won’t," Jared Quinn caught her hand. "There’s no way anything happens that fast."
"Go out and change into your own clothes," Melody shoved him toward the door of the fitting room.
Jared Quinn grabbed her small hand, kissing it again and again before finally letting her go and heading into another fitting room.
Melody rubbed her slightly burning cheeks and stuck out her tongue. He really had zero self-control; even here he could be breathing that heavily.
Once she’d calmed herself down, Melody walked out to the hall. The first person she looked at was the wedding dress designer, and the second was another tall, burly man.
Instantly, her head started to ache.
"Master!" Ona chuckled foolishly twice and walked over. "Master, I heard you’re taking wedding photos with Young Master Jared today, so I came to lend a hand."
Melody Thorne "...You’re at least The Gambling King, can you have a little dignity? Where exactly do you see me needing your help? Just don’t make a mess here and we’ll be good. Go on, get back to wherever you’re supposed to be. I told you I’m not taking you as a disciple, and I meant it."
Ona said, "Master, Master, don’t be like that. Look how sincere I am—I’ve been waiting here for two days. Master, think it over seriously, okay? I can actually be useful in lots of ways, like... like serving tea and pouring water."
Ona turned around and immediately poured her a glass of water. "Master, you must be thirsty. Here, have some water."
Melody turned her head to the side. What kind of weirdo had she managed to provoke this time?
"What are you doing here?" A large hand landed on Ona’s shoulder, full of displeasure.
"Mas..." ter’s wife?
That "wife" never made it out of his mouth—Ona shut his lips fast. Calling her Master’s wife definitely didn’t feel right.
"Young Master Jared, you’re just in time. Things at my casino have been quiet, so I came over to help you two out. Please talk to my master for me. I’m really, truly serious about apprenticing myself to her. From now on, if anyone dares bully my master, I, Jenson, will be the first one who won’t let them off!"
