Melissa pointed toward Dravenna. "Look at her face. She has no shame."
"I am the Dean. I misplaced shame during accreditation."
Ashworth sighed. "That explains several faculty meetings."
Dravenna turned toward him. "You were much quieter before breakfast."
"I had hope before breakfast."
Brian leaned across the table. "Was the office desk involved?"
Ashworth’s expression changed for the first time.
"That desk was imported from Florence."
Dravenna smiled sweetly. "Then it has witnessed true culture."
Ashworth closed his eyes.
The laughter became thunderous.
Even the Goddess lowered her gaze to hide the curve of her lips.
Phei leaned slightly toward her. "You are enjoying this."
"Profoundly."
"You could rescue me."
"I could."
She lifted her tea and drank.
Phei waited but the Goddess offered nothing else.
He nodded slowly. "Understood."
Beside Dravenna, Sienna remained quietly occupied with her breakfast and her phone.
Her deathly green sleeves rested against the table as she scrolled with one thumb, eating small bites with the other hand. The conversation raged around her without disturbing the calm held in her violet eyes. Every few moments, however, her attention drifted away from the screen.
It found Phei.
The first glance lasted barely a heartbeat.
Phei caught it anyway.
He smiled.
Sienna immediately returned her attention to her phone, though the corner of her mouth betrayed a tiny movement.
A few minutes later, she looked again.
Phei was listening to Maddie accuse Dravenna of abusing educational authority. His eyes shifted toward Sienna in the middle of the accusation, and warmth entered his expression.
Sienna lowered her gaze to her plate.
A shy smile appeared before she could contain it.
Nobody at the table noticed.
At the opposite side of the table, David had quietly arranged breakfast for the woman beside him.
He moved the butter closer before she reached for it, poured her tea, checked the temperature, then placed the better portion of fruit onto her plate before serving himself. When she shifted in her chair, he adjusted the cushion behind her without interrupting their conversation.
Maddie noticed.
Her eyes narrowed.
"David."
He looked up. "Yes?"
"Could you stop behaving like someone’s perfect husband? You are making the rest of the table look badly managed."
David glanced toward Phei. "That seems outside my control."
Phei looked offended. "Why did that reach me?"
Melissa answered immediately. "Because your table manners include kissing two women and fleeing from the consequences."
"I sat down."
"You fled while seated."
The Goddess nodded. "An impressive technique."
Phei looked at her again. "You have become hostile."
"I have become entertained."
David’s companion smiled and rested a hand lightly over his wrist. "Please continue embarrassing him. He becomes sweeter when cornered."
David placed another pastry on her plate. "I see betrayal has reached my side of the table."
She accepted the pastry. "You prepared for it."
Brian gestured toward them with his fork. "This is unfair. David gets praised for pouring tea. I provide emotional excitement every day."
Rhea calmly removed the fork before he could wave it into someone’s face.
"Your emotional excitement requires insurance," she said.
Landon laughed.
Cherry stole another piece of toast from his plate.
He caught her wrist this time. "You have your own."
"Yours tastes stolen."
"That sentence explains too much about you."
Dravenna watched the scene with open fascination. "Your household has developed feeding rituals."
"You announced yourself as his girlfriend ten minutes ago," Melissa reminded her. "Join the queue."
Dravenna leaned across Sienna and opened her mouth toward Phei.
Melissa stared at her.
Dravenna waited.
Phei selected a strawberry and tossed it.
She caught it neatly between her teeth.
At the same moment her foot pressed harder against the full, throbbing length of his cock, toes curling tight around the thick head and squeezing once with pure, sinful intent. The sudden pressure made Phei’s hips twitch once under the table. Heat flooded his lower body. He kept his face carefully neutral as the girls shouted around them, but his free hand had gone white-knuckled against the edge of his chair.
The girls shouted.
Ashworth stared down into his coffee as though it contained the final remnants of civilization.
"That was inappropriate," he said.
Dravenna chewed and swallowed. "Your jealousy is unbecoming."
"I am grieving the institution."
Maddie laughed so hard she had to hold Yuki’s shoulder.
The chaos carried on beneath the golden chandeliers, growing warmer with every exchange.
Food moved from plate to plate. Private jokes became public weapons. Old grudges surfaced, received seasoning, and returned as laughter. The adults argued with the younger women. The younger women grew brave enough to challenge Dravenna. Brian contributed useless advice. Landon denied enjoying Cherry’s theft while quietly moving the best pieces closer to her. David continued caring for his companion despite the ridicule. Hayashi appeared whenever a conversation required dry evidence or fresh tea.
Phei sat at the center and allowed it all to wash over him.
Under the table Dravenna’s foot continued its slow, filthy rhythm — soft sole sliding up and down the thick, aching length of his cock, toes curling and releasing, pressing harder every time his pulse jumped against her skin. The fabric between them was already damp. Every deliberate stroke sent another wave of heat through his lower stomach. He could feel how hard he had become, how the heavy weight of him throbbed against the warm sole of her foot. She knew exactly what she was doing.
The faint, knowing curve of her mouth never left her face, luckily or unfortunately, Roxanne had already retreated her feet.
For a moment, their voices disappeared beneath the larger conversation.
Then Phei’s awareness shifted toward the far corner of the hall.
He had sensed the presence from the moment the elevator doors opened.
A powerful, disciplined aura held close beneath layers of cultivated calm. The man carrying it had concealed his interest with respectable skill, though his attention had remained fixed upon Phei’s table throughout breakfast.
Phei had simply declined to acknowledge him.
Until now:
The Castellano patriarch sat at a private table near one of the high windows, Adriana occupied the chair to her right.
She wore a fitted breakfast dress in deep burgundy, her dark hair falling across one shoulder as she moved food around her plate with far less interest than she usually showed good cuisine. Her beautiful face carried its familiar sharpness, though tension sat beneath it.
Every so often, her eyes slipped toward Phei before returning to her father.
Brett Castellano sat across from her.
The golden Castellano heir had barely touched his meal.
His posture remained rigid, shoulders held carefully beneath an expensive jacket. His face still carried the polished arrogance expected of the family’s public heir, though his eyes betrayed him whenever they wandered toward Phei.
The Castellano patriarch watched everything; the women surrounding Phei, Amber laughing near Maddie and Yuki, Adriana’s repeated glances, Brett’s silence.
Phei finally lifted his eyes and met the patriarch’s stare across the hall.
The distance between their tables seemed to narrow.
The patriarch did not look away, neither did Phei as conversation continued around him for another few seconds before Melissa noticed the change in his expression.
Her laughter faded.
Amber too, followed his gaze and the smile on her face slowed as she recognized her family’s table... Phei placed his fork down, folded his napkin beside his plate, and rose.
Dravenna’s foot gave one last, deliberate squeeze against the thick, throbbing length of his cock before it slipped away. The sudden absence left him aching, hard, and very aware of the damp fabric that clung to him. He adjusted the sleeve of his white turtleneck with careful control, forcing his body to obey.
Several conversations ended at once.
Maddie looked up. "Where are you going?"
Phei adjusted the sleeve of his white turtleneck.
"To greet someone."
Amber’s eyes moved between him and her father, she had been wondering when she would have to ask him; Phei had already begun walking and a smile appeared on her face, small and warm, before she could hide it.
The rest of the table watched him cross the Empyrean Hall alone.
Adriana saw him coming and stopped moving her fork.
The Castellano patriarch straightened but Brett went pale feeling the pressure force him down as Phei approached.
For years, Brett Castellano had been the golden heir of the school and one of the Circle of Cowards who turned Phei’s powerless life into daily sport. That history had ended at the lockers, inside a fight Brett had expected to win, and upon a rooftop where Phei left holding recordings, evidence, years of buried abuse, and one secret whispered beyond the reach of every camera.
Phei had never needed to mention it again and he’d then humiliated him and Anderson through that journalist, and then the game; Brett had never met Phei since the game and after he hardhat he had done to Zack, Aiden and Anderson; Brett wanted no place near Phei and his father had to force him to breakfast in the same hall as the monster.]:
Now Phei walked toward the same family wearing white, powerful enough to make the entire hall watch, carrying Amber’s trust with him and a hidden relationship with Adriana that their father had yet to discover.
He was approaching the patriarch whose daughter he had already taken out of the Castellano home.
The patriarch whose wife had already crossed a far more intimate boundary with him.
The patriarch rose from his chair.
Adriana’s breath caught.
Brett’s fingers tightened around his glass.
Phei stopped before their table and smiled.
"Good morning, Patriarch Castellano."
