My Taboo Harem!

Chapter 1145: Respect For Castellano, Adriana’s Move (r-18)

Adriana was cutting into a piece of fruit with exaggerated concentration, though the slight curve of her lips suggested she understood exactly why her husband’s mood had changed; Perhaps the earlier conversation between Amber and her father had helped more than she wanted to admit and the presence of the Goddess and Patricia might also have softened Vittorio’s position.

Few men remained eager for confrontation after watching women of that standing accept Phei openly and treat their daughters as their responsibility and almost as their own kids the way the Goddess had done with Amber when she met Vittorio with Amber and Patricia.

Still, that meeting could not account for everything.

Vittorio had made a choice to let Amber come back to Phei but Phei had to be a man himself and greet her father himself.

Phei withdrew a small portion of the Dragon Dominance surrounding him, enough to ensure that the conversation did not feel like an interrogation.

"Thank you for allowing me to sit," Phei said. "I came because I thought we should speak before other people began speaking for us."

Vittorio’s gaze moved briefly toward the nearby tables, where several guests were pretending not to watch.

"A rare instinct on this island."

"People here enjoy solving family matters through rumours, threats, and expensive disasters."

"You have contributed several expensive disasters of your own." He said looking at the long table Phei had left.

Phei smiled faintly. "I never claimed innocence. Only efficiency."

Adriana lowered her eyes to hide her amusement, Vittorio’s expression did not visibly change, though something eased around his mouth.

"I assumed you came to speak about Amber."

"I did."

At the sound of his sister’s name, Brett’s fingers twitched beneath the table.

The aura around him tightened again.

Phei did not look at him.

"Amber did not leave your house because I ordered her to," Phei continued. "I had offered her this vacation a week away. She accepted, and we left without announcing it. I did not think the requesting you would survive be allowed since Main Paradise was raised about me and I stupidly thought the only way was to steal her, short sighted of me; please accept my apology."

Vittorio nodded once. "I know, it water under the bridge now."

That simple response removed half the speech Phei had prepared.

He leaned back slightly.

"You know?"

"I spoke to my daughter, Phei. She is still my daughter, whatever roof she sleeps under."

Adriana raised her glass, hiding another smile behind it.

Vittorio noticed. "And her mother was unusually persuasive herself for both you kids sake."

"I was honest," Adriana corrected.

"You were relentless about me giving them a chance for their better future; I am still surprised where those words came from. Rare of you."

"Honesty often appears relentless when someone has spent too long avoiding it."

Vittorio gave his wife a long look before returning his attention to Phei.

"Amber told me what happened in my home. She explained how she had been living, what she feared, and why she believed she could not speak openly while remaining beneath my roof."

A shadow passed over the Patriarch’s face; Phei felt no performance in it, only regret.

’This man is nothing like I expected of him as Harold’s friend.’

"I did not know everything," Vittorio said looking at Brett too. "That is not an excuse. A father who does not know what occurs inside his own household has failed in one of the few duties no title can delegate."

Brett’s head lowered another fraction, Phei sensed the fear inside him pulse.

Guilt would mix well with it.

"I’m not here to accuse you of anything or try to make myself good since I took the worts shortcut while trying to build a life with your daughter too, if anything I am worse," Phei said. "Amber loves you. Even after leaving, she was worried that I would make this worse between us."

Vittorio looked toward the distant table where Amber sat among Phei’s women, laughing softly at something Yuki had whispered.

"She appears happier than I have seen her in the while."

"She is."

"I noticed."

Phei folded his hands loosely before him.

"She is welcome to return whenever she chooses. I will never make a mistake to tell her to abandon her family."

Vittorio met his eyes directly.

Phei felt a strange tension leave his shoulders.

He had expected to have to fight for that understanding.

Vittorio continued, "You should also understand something about me, Phei. I may dislike the manner in which this occurred. I may dislike learning that my daughter trusted another household before she trusted her own father. But I will not hate the man who gave her somewhere to breathe."

Phei was silent for a moment.

Then he inclined his head.

"I appreciate that."

"You expected hatred, didn’t you."

"I took your daughter out of your house without your approval after all."

"You did not take her. Amber is not jewellery."

Adriana’s fork paused halfway to her mouth.

Vittorio’s gaze remained steady. "She made a decision. I may regret the circumstances that made it necessary, but treating her choice as theft would only prove she was right to leave."

That answer earned something from Phei:

Real respect.

"I came prepared to assure you that I had no intention of turning Amber against you," Phei said. "It seems that assurance may still be useful."

"It is."

"She speaks of you with love. Frustration too, but mostly love."

Vittorio’s expression became faintly pained. "That sounds like Amber."

"I won’t interfere with your relationship. I will protect her, provide for her, and make certain she has room to decide what she wants next. The rest belongs to the two of you."

Vittorio considered him carefully.

"You are younger than the way you speak."

"I am younger than most of the problems people keep handing me."

That finally drew the faintest smile from the Castellano Patriarch, it did not last long, but it was there.

Adriana saw it and Phei saw it too.

Brett remained unaware of everything except the pressure scraping at his instincts.

Vittorio reached for his coffee.

"What do you expect from me in return?"

"Nothing concerning Amber."

"Nothing?"

"Like you said, she is not a bargaining piece."

Vittorio held Phei’s gaze over the rim of his cup, and the respect inside him deepened.

Phei felt Dragon Dominance respond to that emotion, nourishing it just as readily as it cultivated Brett’s fear. The ability was not inherently cruel. It magnified what the target already carried.

In Brett, it was planting terror, in Vittorio, it was strengthening acknowledgment.

That distinction mattered.

Phei had no desire to enslave every man who entered his life; some relationships were worth building without chains.

"I would like peace between our families," Phei said. "Real peace. Not one of those agreements where everyone smiles at dinner and hires assassins before dessert."

"An ambitious request among Legacy Families."

"I have ambitious habits."

"I have noticed."

"I respect your daughter, Patriarch. And your house too."

Well, even though he was cucking him.

Adriana’s fork slipped from her fingers, it struck the floor with a bright metallic sound.

Everyone at the table looked toward her.

Adriana stared down at the fallen utensil with the grave concentration of someone who had just discovered the final surviving fork on Earth.

"I’ll get it," she said.

A nearby attendant immediately stepped forward.

"There is no need, Madam Castellano. I can replace it."

"I prefer that one."

The attendant hesitated.

Phei slowly turned his head toward her.

Adriana leaned down beneath the table, dark hair sliding forward over one shoulder. She took far longer than the task required. Her soft fingers found the zipper of Phei’s trousers. The faint metallic sound of it opening was swallowed by the quiet scrape of her chair. Phei cleared his throat once — a low, controlled sound that masked the soft parting of fabric as she carefully pulled the zipper down and eased the front of his pants open.

While still bent, her lips brushed close enough that only he could hear the quiet, filthy whisper:

"Don’t you dare make a sound while my husband is watching."

When she returned upright, her expression had achieved saintly innocence. But her bare feet remained under the table. Her soft, cool toes hooked into the waistband of his boxers and tugged downward with patient, sinful precision until the full, hot length of him sprang free into the cool air beneath the tablecloth.

The first contact of her soft, cold soles against the burning heat of his cock made Phei’s entire body tighten — her feet were cool and smooth, almost chilly from the air-conditioned hall, while his shaft was thick, heavy, and throbbing with heat. She pressed the arch of one foot along the full length of him, feeling every thick vein of his cock, every pulse, the way the swollen head already leaked a bead of precum against her sole.

She started slowly.

One soft foot cradled the heavy weight of his cock from beneath while the other slid upward along the shaft, toes curling around the thick crown and squeezing gently. The sensation of her cool, silky skin dragged over the hypersensitive head of his penis, it made Phei’s breath catch for a single second before he forced it steady.

She felt the way his cock jumped against her sole, the way it thickened even further under her touch.

Then she began to move.

Both feet worked together in a slow rhythm — one foot stroked up and down the thick shaft while the other cupped and rolled his heavy balls with soft, teasing pressure. She dragged the soft ball of her foot over the leaking crown again and again, spreading the wetness, pressing and circling until the head of his cock was slick and shiny against her skin.

The cool temperature of her feet against the burning heat of him was almost too much.

Every slow stroke sent a wave of dizzying satisfaction through him.

Vittorio looked at him:

"Something wrong?"
