My Taboo Harem!

Chapter 1151: R-18 Instruction Manual.

He kissed her hand again.

Jade turned toward the Sovereign too quickly, attempting to hide the flustered smile that had already betrayed her.

"So," she asked, resting her palm against the roof, "what do you think?"

Phei finally let his attention return fully to the black machine; something about it felt different.

The exterior remained the same predatory sculpture he had chosen, every line sharpened for speed and violence, but the invisible leash around it was gone. The car seemed to sit lower now, more awake, like it knew someone had removed the muzzle while the lawyers were looking elsewhere.

Jade saw recognition enter his face.

"We removed everything you asked us to remove," she said. "Every manufacturer restriction, safety governor and remote intervention protocol."

Phei’s smile spread.

"The electronic speed limit is gone. So is the geofencing. The collision system will warn you, but it will never seize control unless you command it. There is no remote shutdown, no forced authority transfer and no route reporting to Park Motors."

"Beautiful."

"The biometric security belongs entirely to you now. You decide who may enter, start or move the car. Even our highest-level technicians cannot override your access."

"More beautiful, then."

Jade gave him a look. "Most people become concerned when told no outside authority can stop their car from crashing."

"Most people lack imagination."

"One of our engineers asked whether you intended to race an aircraft."

"What did you say?"

"I told him asking unnecessary questions was how engineers lost access to interesting projects."

Phei laughed.

Gods, he liked this woman.

"The steering response, suspension behavior, power delivery and acceleration mapping are fully manual now," Jade continued. "No artificial smoothing. No protective dampening. The Sovereign will give you exactly what you ask for, even if what you ask for is objectively stupid."

"That sounds like love."

"That sounded like a liability waiver."

"Romance has paperwork now. Tragic."

Jade shook her head, smiling despite herself. Phei looked over the Sovereign again, taking in the black tiger freed from every polite restraint its creators had wrapped around it.

"Thank you, Jade." he said.

The sincerity softened Jade’s expression immediately.

"I love everything about her."

Her eyes brightened: "The only thing left is testing how badly she wants to kill the road."

"Of course."

Jade opened the driver’s door for him.

The panel rose, revealing the cockpit and Catrina already seated inside with a blush that had only partially recovered from witnessing courtship at close range.

Phei started toward the opening.

"Oh..."

Jade’s voice stopped him, he looked back; the formidable princess had become very interested in the interior:

"...there is one more change."

Phei glanced into the cockpit. "Should I be worried?"

"Probably."

Now he was interested.

Jade cleared her throat.

"The seats were modified."

"For racing?"

"For several uses."

Phei waited.

She did not continue and just looked at Catrina and winked knowingly.

He smiled:

’Delicious.’

"The center console retracts completely," she finally said. "Both seats slide much farther back than before and recline nearly flat. The lower supports can adjust independently, and the steering assembly withdraws into the dashboard while the car is stationary."

Phei’s smile grew.

Jade kept her gaze fixed safely away from him:

"The windows have total privacy opacity. The cabin blocks external imaging, thermal scanning and sound detection. The suspension can also stabilize the vehicle against... movement."

"What sort of movement?"

She looked at him.

He looked innocent.

The innocence had a criminal record.

"Considerable movement," she said specifically to the girl in the other seat.

Catrina went still inside the passenger seat.

Phei folded his arms.

Jade pressed on before dignity could escape completely.

"We thought you might sometimes travel with one of your women and require more room than an ordinary cockpit provides." Finally, she said it, well, the sanitized version of it.

"More room."

"Yes."

"For driving."

"No."

The answer left Jade before she could polish it.

Silence, then Phei laughed brightly, shamelessly with enough delight that Jade immediately regretted telling him anything.

"Princess," he said, stepping close again, "did you redesign my hypercar so I could you know what, comfortably inside it?"

Jade’s face caught fire.

Catrina made a tiny choking sound from inside the Sovereign.

"I redesigned it for private intimacy," Jade corrected through clenched dignity.

"That is a very expensive way to say yes."

"It was a practical feature."

"A thoughtful feature."

"Phei."

"A romantic feature."

"Get in the car."

He leaned forward and kissed her forehead before she could move.

Quick.

Warm.

Completely unfair.

Then he slipped past her and dropped into the driver’s seat with the speed of a man escaping a well-earned slap the door began descending and his laughter followed it down.

"Phei!"

Jade stood outside staring at him through the narrowing gap, face warm, jade eyes promising future consequences.

Beside him, Catrina sat rigidly in the specially modified passenger seat, staring straight ahead with the expression of a woman who had just discovered the chair beneath her came with an R-18 instruction manual.

Phei settled both hands around the wheel, the Sovereign recognized him, the cockpit changed.

Displays awakened across the dash, black surfaces igniting with cold gold light. The seat tightened around his body. Systems released one by one, and somewhere deep beneath them the engine inhaled.

Then the black tiger growled.

The sound rolled through the hotel entrance, deep enough to vibrate beneath Jade’s sneakers and turn every nearby conversation into silence. The machine did not sound manufactured. It sounded hungry.

Phei revved it once.

The roar struck the hotel façade and came back twice as violent.

Other engines answered immediately.

Val’s Perrari screamed in crimson outrage. Delilah’s car snarled. Sienna’s vehicle released a low, cold growl farther down the line. Even Emily and Maddie suspended their seat war long enough to respond with an aggressive rev from whichever one had finally conquered the wheel.

Phei looked through the side window at Jade.

She remained standing where he had left her, one hand touching the spot on her forehead his lips had claimed.

He gave her a shameless smile before the Sovereign launched:

The black car tore away from the entrance so violently that the morning seemed to arrive late behind it. Tires gripped. Power slammed through the chassis. The hotel vanished in the mirrors as the Sovereign devoured the first stretch of road with Catrina pressed back into her seat, eyes widening while a startled laugh escaped her.

One by one, the other cars followed.

Crimson, silver, pearl, jade and black streamed out from Infinity Chaos Hotel, engines ripping through the morning while princesses, heirs and beautiful disasters chased the tiger leading them toward the city.

Jade remained beside the empty space.

The breeze stirred her short skirt around her thighs.

She stared after the disappearing Sovereign, fingers still resting against her forehead.

"Bastard," she murmured.

The smile on her lips exposed the lie.
