The ocean became wider.

Then deeper.

Then wider again.

The waves beneath my floating soul grew increasingly immense, and the silver radiance surrounding my soul became denser with every cycle. I could feel the pressure building throughout my Soul Space, but I continued feeding it more.

I had no intention of stopping at the level where an ordinary Saint would stop.

If the Saint Realm had a limit, I intended to find it.

And if that limit still wasn’t enough to challenge a Demigod, then I would push against that boundary until my soul itself told me that there was nowhere left to go.

Another Echo Reversion activated.

Another enormous distance disappeared.

And my journey toward the Prime Territory continued.

Another two hours passed.

By then, a total of three hours had elapsed since I left the Twelfth’s trial, and the Prime Territory was finally drawing closer. I had covered an enormous distance through successive uses of Echo Reversion, but the process had become increasingly taxing. Even with the Soul Force I continued harvesting along the way, I had refined only around twenty-five percent of the black ocean within the Dawn Core.

What surprised me more was my Soul Space.

It still wasn’t satisfied.

The vast Soul Sea beneath my floating soul had expanded considerably, yet every time I poured another enormous quantity of Soul Force into it, the ocean simply absorbed the energy without showing any sign of reaching its limit. Billions of souls had already been refined, and their accumulated power was enough to overwhelm an ordinary Saint many times over, but my Soul Space continued accepting everything as though it were an endless abyss.

Time, however, was not endless.

I had already spent three hours.

I couldn’t continue refining the black ocean in small portions if I wanted to reach the Prime Territory within the remaining time. I needed something faster, something far more extreme.

I made a decision.

Instead of isolating another portion of the black ocean and refining it gradually, I would enter it directly.

My consciousness descended into the black ocean.

The instant I crossed the surface, everything disappeared.

There was no sky, no ground and no sense of direction. I found myself surrounded by absolute darkness, and the atmosphere was so evil and oppressive that even my consciousness instinctively recoiled. Then I felt them.

Souls.

Millions of them.

They came from every direction at once, screaming as they lunged toward my consciousness. Their attacks weren’t striking my physical body; they were tearing directly at my soul. Thousands would have been manageable. Even tens of thousands might have been endured. But millions of souls attacking simultaneously created an entirely different sensation.

Pain exploded through my consciousness.

I nearly roared.

The souls clawed at my existence, their screams merging into an unbearable torrent of hatred, desperation and madness. I could feel fragments of their emotions crashing into my mind as they tried to tear me apart.

I gritted my teeth and activated the Major Law of Consumption.

The authority spread outward from my consciousness, and the first wave of souls began collapsing into streams of Soul Force. I absorbed them relentlessly, refining them as quickly as possible.

It felt like trying to drink an entire river at once.

Yet for every soul I consumed, thousands more came rushing toward me.

The black ocean was simply too vast.

Even if I continued this way, I would spend far too much time refining it directly, and I could not afford that. I needed to change the way I processed the energy.

Then an idea occurred to me.

My consciousness immediately withdrew from the black ocean and returned to my body, leaving the remaining souls trapped within the containment formation. I opened my eyes and looked toward my chest.

The Generator Core.

It had been converting essence into Soul Force since the moment I upgraded it, but I had always treated it as a machine that needed to be fed ordinary energy before producing something greater.

What if I reversed the process?

What if I fed it the black ocean itself?

I reached into the Dawn Core and separated approximately one percent of the black ocean. Under my control, the enormous mass began moving through the connection between my inner world and physical body. It surged out of the Dawn Core and entered my energy channels.

Pain immediately exploded through my body.

The black substance was far too dense and carried far too many remnants of souls. My channels screamed beneath the pressure as the darkness rushed toward my heart, but I maintained control and forced it onward.

When the black ocean finally reached my heart, I directed it toward the Generator Core.

The response was instantaneous.

The Core illuminated.

Then it moved.

It was almost like watching a starving creature finally see food.

The Generator Core violently pulled the black ocean toward itself, absorbing the entire mass in an instant.

I waited.

One second.

Then two.

Then my entire body trembled.

An overwhelming torrent of Soul Force erupted from the Generator Core and surged directly into my Soul Space. The sheer quantity was so immense that my consciousness shook beneath it.

My eyes widened.

It worked.

The Generator Core had refined the black ocean almost instantaneously and converted it into Soul Force.

I didn’t hesitate.

I stopped my teleportation cycle and immediately drew another portion of the black ocean into my body.

This time, I took ten percent.

The moment the mass entered my channels, agony tore through my body. I clenched my teeth and maintained control as the darkness rushed toward my heart. The Generator Core once again flared brilliantly and devoured it.

Several seconds later, the second wave erupted.

Soul Force flooded into my Soul Space with such force that my head throbbed violently. Blood leaked from my nose and the corners of my mouth, while my entire body trembled beneath the pressure.

Ten percent was simply too much to process comfortably.

But I had no time to care.

I repeated the process.

Again.

And again.

Each time, I fed increasingly massive portions of the black ocean into the Generator Core, allowing it to consume the darkness and convert it into Soul Force before releasing the refined energy directly into my Soul Space.

My body continued deteriorating under the strain.

Blood leaked from my eyes.

My muscles trembled. My consciousness repeatedly threatened to lose focus.

Yet I continued.

There was no room for hesitation.

Eventually, the black ocean had been reduced to roughly fifteen percent of its original volume.

Eighty-five percent was gone.

I looked toward my Soul Sea, expecting it to have expanded enormously after receiving such an absurd quantity of Soul Force.

Instead, I saw something unexpected.

The ocean had stopped expanding.

No matter how much Soul Force I forced into it, the boundaries remained exactly where they were.

I sent another torrent into the Soul Sea. The energy accumulated within the ocean, but its boundaries refused to move.

I stared at it in silence. I had finally reached a wall. Because my Soul Space itself had reached a limit.
