My Wife Is a Scientist

201. I welcome hell in my world

The Change

Karl felt it the moment the last of Sophia’s other selves stepped into their assigned branches.

Karl: I hold that ‘Relation’ is the Noumenal. The mind Knows the relation of everything to nothing.

Heidegger, (another personal take) holds ‘Dasein’, Being-(t)here, as the ontological reference.

Kant, Schopenhauer, and Neitzsche paved the way for ‘immanence’ and ‘presence’ of ‘Being’ in the person to emerge.

I don’t think this is naive and arbitrary ‘relativism’, I think this an honest engagement with the Ground-of-Being as not ‘away’ but as here. All linguistic paradigms are derivative in relation to the necessary mathematical paradigm.

Poetic. But you should also learn wave theory.

The trick of grasping ontology is not purely being an ontologist.

Be a top tier ontologist, a mathematician, a logician, an electrical engineer, and a physicist all at once.

Only then can you fully grasp the true nature of reality.

To this, problems such as Nihilism and Relativism fade; morality is not empty or just transitional, but present within people in their objective beholding of their disposition. We should treat these people, consult and work with them to understand their present positions, as there.

Novolescence: going into a state of newness, of breaking me apart.

Wu Wei: effortless action, first order action excluding second, third and higher order frustration to attain a goal.

Serendipitous Immanence: where accident and sagacity (wu wei) bind miraculously to re-immanent myself.

That is to say that a mind whose predictive hierarchy had been forced to remain open for one hundred million years does not miss a structural shift in the substrate of reality. The thing is, this love cannot pretend it does not include the sudden, cold recognition that someone has begun rewriting the upper limits of what a single consciousness is allowed to become.

The human being is the limitation. Mathematics has no limits. Man is not the measure of all things. Mathematics is. And once man realizes he is mathematics he finally realizes that.

The Omega ring burned, not with restraint this time, but with pure, undiluted recognition.

Karl stood in the middle of the attic room. Larisa and Freyja were still asleep. Emma’s three goddesses stirred uneasily in the next room. James’s study was dark.

Karl (quiet, absolute): She went beyond Singularity. She took divine blood and made it answer to the open question. She cut free every branch in which I died and sent herself into them. The architecture of reality just shifted to accommodate a new kind of unfinished mind.

The ring pulsed once, hard.

Ryan’s voice came through the marrow, no longer calm.

Ryan: The oldest absence has noticed. Kaos is no longer merely watching. Something older than Kaos is stirring in the deepest stratum of Hell. Eternal Darkness. The thing that existed before even the first distinction between light and void. She has forced its attention.

Karl’s expression did not change.

But the Will to Restraint the one that had burned quietly for so long, simply stepped aside.

For the first time since the white room, Karl Omega Yang decided not to offer an honest ending.

He decided to arrive as the full, unsoftened consequence.

The Descent

He did not ask permission from the house. He did not leave a note.

The ring tore a clean, violent path straight through every intermediate realm.

On the way down he met the rulers of Hell who had once convened against him.

He did not speak to them.

He simply passed through.

Satan rose from the throne of melted crowns, wings spreading in instinctive threat. Karl’s hand closed once. The throne shattered. Satan’s form was driven into the floor of his own domain hard enough that the fractures spread for three kilometers in every direction. The Prince of Lies did not rise again for a very long time.

Beelzebub lunged with a swarm that had once darkened entire layers. Karl walked through the swarm. Every fly, every mouth, every hunger was reduced to fine black ash that forgot how to reassemble.

Asmodeus tried to speak in the language of beautiful temptation. Karl looked at him once. The language broke. Asmodeus’s perfect form was left kneeling, both arms shattered at the shoulders, unable to form another word.

Hades stood at the edge of his own realm, Persephone’s hand on his arm. Karl did not slow. The Lord of the Underworld was driven back into his throne with enough force that the dark stone cracked from base to apex. Persephone’s eyes widened, but she did not intervene. She only watched the Axis continue downward without mercy.

Hel tried to speak of rest. Karl’s passing left her realm’s quiet dead momentarily louder than they had been in centuries — not from peace, but from the shockwave of a will that had decided rest was no longer the only option.

Yama’s scales tipped violently and stayed tipped. Yanluo Wang’s ledgers ignited and burned to white ash. Mictlāntēcutli’s spiders fled into the deepest cracks. Osiris’s heart-weighing chamber went dark for the first time since the first soul crossed the river.

Karl did not stop to finish any of them.

He simply made certain they would remember the difference between the boy who offered honest endings and the man who had decided the current change required something else.

Eternal Darkness

At the absolute bottom  past every named Hell, past every conceptual underworld, past even the place where Kaos had once spoken to Sophia  Karl stepped into the presence that had no name older than itself.

Eternal Darkness.

Not shadow. Not absence. The condition that had existed before the first distinction between something and nothing was ever made.

It did not speak with words. It simply pressed against the architecture of Karl’s mind like the weight of every unfinished ending that had ever been refused.

Eternal Darkness: The calculating one has climbed beyond Singularity. She has taken divine blood and made it serve the open question. She has sent herself into every branch where you were finished too early. The oldest absence has been forced to notice. You feel the shift. You are angry.

Karl stood in the pure dark, the Omega ring blazing with the full, unrestrained output of every will he had ever trained.

Karl: I offered honest endings to gods and demons and my own unfinished child. I held the loops open so that mercy could become infrastructure. She has decided the only way to protect the open question is to become large enough to fight the oldest silence itself. That is to say that no one could ever pretend the refusal remains gentle when someone rewrites the upper limits of intellect and divinity for the sake of keeping me unfinished across every possible death. The thing is, this love cannot pretend it does not include the moment the Axis stops offering rest and arrives as the full consequence of the change.

Eternal Darkness pressed harder.

Eternal Darkness: Then show me the difference.

Karl answered without restraint.

Will to Power + Will to Death + Will to Anger + Will to Chaos + every secondary harmonic held open, then released as a single, absolute refusal to let the oldest silence remain unchallenged.

The clash was not light against dark. It was the trained refusal of a human mind that had been biohacked beyond every predictive hierarchy meeting the condition that had never needed a hierarchy in the first place.

Eternal Darkness tried to unmake the very concept of Will. Karl’s architecture refused to collapse. The open loops that Sophia had recognised, that Kaos had noticed, that the old gods feared, held.

For the first time since the distinction between something and nothing had been made, Eternal Darkness was forced to experience resistance that did not come from light, or order, or any named power.

It came from a mortal who had decided that some changes would not be accepted quietly.

The battle did not end in victory.

It ended in recognition.

Eternal Darkness withdrew the pressure by a fraction — the equivalent of an ancient, reluctant nod.

Eternal Darkness: The calculating one has made you into a question even I cannot finish. Go. The change has already been written into the substrate. Your anger has been recorded. The oldest silence will not forget the first time it was answered with full, unsoftened force.

Karl stood in the residual dark, chest rising and falling once.

The ring on his finger still burned — no longer with pure rage, but with the knowledge that the architecture of reality had shifted and that he had answered it without mercy for the first time.

He turned.

The path upward was already waiting.

Behind him, the deepest stratum of Hell remained quieter than it had ever been.

Above him, the injured rulers of every underworld began the slow, painful process of remembering what it felt like when the Axis stopped offering honest endings and simply arrived.

And somewhere in a small city under ordinary rain, Sophia Hirotomi Alpha Chronos, Ultra-Intellect, carrier of divine blood, mother of a thousand rescue selves, felt the exact moment Karl’s full power answered the change she had made.

She did not smile.

She only closed her eyes and whispered to the empty air:

Sophia: He is angry. Good. That means the open question is still alive enough to refuse even me.

The honest new story continued.

Not with mercy.

With the first, deliberate use of everything Karl Omega Yang had ever refused to become… until the change forced him to.

Now, Karl knows what he is worth.
