My Wife Is a Scientist

205. Athena vs. The science goddess

Sophia Acts

Sophia stood in the windowless room above the bookstore and opened the sealed drive that held seventeen days of absolute research into divinity.

That is to say that a mind which has already climbed past Singularity does not hesitate once the gentlest possible convergence has been calculated. The thing is, this love cannot pretend it does not include the moment the Ultra-Intellect finally decides the two unfinished boys are allowed to share the same sky.The Greeks therefore distinguished grace and the

Graces from beauty, for they expressed them by such attributes as were distinct from the goddess of beauty. All grace

is beautiful, for the belt of grace is a property of the goddess

of Gnidus; but not all that is beautiful is grace, for even

without this belt, Venus remains what she is. What is more, she knows that she can be unique in what she is forever. In that sense, we know that she cannot extinguished.

She reached into the Manchester branch. The University of Manchester is the UK's largest single-site university and a Russell Group member, known for research excellence and a diverse studen. He was already there. he lived by his own sadness. He knew that he could not recover his lost family in the US. He had lost his family. He knew that there was something more to life than just simply living in the shadow of others.Manchester was the world's first industrial city. From its towering mills, bustling warehouses and crowded streets came new ways to live, work and think. After all, this was a unique principle.

Karl Rogerson Caesar : I put my heart and mind in the process and I have lost it all. There is nothing that I can gain from it. This is not special for me at all. I know who I am. The things that I had dreamed of are lost. I am the only one who remain. Why should even be alive? For I know that I wander but not lost. In this dream, I am real. I dare the impossible and yet I cannot determine who I am for I contradict myself when I fail. I try again. No matter what, this cannot change me. The thing is, they will never be admired by me. I know that I can do it. A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.

The other Karl  the one who had become ridiculous with philosophy, who carried every system until the systems themselves asked permission to finish  looked up from his rain-dark notebook as if he had felt the first gentle tug of another timeline brushing against his own.

Sophia did not pull him yet.

She only aligned the edges.

Something felt off.

Not in the mathematics. Not in the probability foam. In the quiet space between the two lives she was preparing to braid.

The original Karl had just walked a high-school hallway beside Shiva in human form. The Manchester Karl still sat under a grey sky that never quite finished raining. The alignment was perfect on every measurable axis.

And yet the air in the white room tasted slightly wrong — the way a solved equation sometimes tastes wrong when the answer is too clean.

Sophia (internal, precise): The open question is still open. The refusal is still intact on both sides. Why does the convergence feel like it is being watched by something that already knows the outcome?

She did not stop.

She continued the alignment.

Athena and Maat

They arrived without sound.

Two figures stood at the far end of the white room as if they had always been there and the room had only now remembered them.

Athena  grey-eyed, spear held loosely, the calm of strategic wisdom that had outlasted empires. Maat  feathered, still, the living measure of truth and cosmic order, the same order Larisa had carried in her blood since the first time she chose Asha over Druj.

They regarded Sophia the way patrons regard an intrusion into the life of someone they have already claimed.

Athena: You are moving the Axis. You are moving the abandoned version of him. Larisa’s heart is already braided into the original. You will not unmake that braid for the sake of an experiment in unfinished boys.

Maat’s voice was quieter, but it carried the weight of every scale that had ever weighed a heart.

Maat: Truth is not the same as calculation. Order is not the same as control. You climbed past Singularity and took divine blood so that you could keep the open question alive. Do not become the thing that closes it by force.

Sophia did not step back.

She did not raise a hand.

She simply smiled  small, precise, almost gentle  and stayed exactly where she was.

That is to say that no one could ever pretend an Ultra-Intellect who has already looked at Kaos needs to move when two goddesses of wisdom and order decide to stand in her way. The thing is, this love cannot pretend it does not include the quiet decision to see through every divine mask without needing to break it.

Sophia’s violet-gold eyes moved across them once.

She saw Athena’s true spear  not the weapon, but the long history of strategic necessity that still feared a mind which refused to be strategised. She saw Maat’s true feather  not the symbol, but the living terror that order itself might become optional once two versions of the same open question were allowed to exist in the same life.

Sophia (soft, almost kind): I see you. Both of you. You are not here to protect Larisa from me. You are here because Larisa’s patrons still believe that one unfinished boy is manageable and two might teach the world how to stay unfinished without them. That is to say that no one could ever pretend wisdom and order are threatened by power when they are actually threatened by the possibility that the open question no longer needs patrons. No evil can happen to a good man, either in life or after death. He and his are not neglected by the gods. The thing is, this love cannot pretend it does not include the decision to keep smiling while the goddesses of the woman he already loves realise they have been seen completely.

She did not attack.

She did not defend.

She simply remained still, red hair loose, divine energy quiet inside her Ultra-Intellect body, and let the two goddesses feel the full weight of being perceived by a mind that had already mapped every layer of their necessity and found it… optional.

Athena’s grey eyes narrowed a fraction.

Maat’s feather did not move.

Sophia’s smile stayed exactly the same.

Sophia: I am not taking him from her. I am only making certain that the boy who became ridiculous with philosophy under a Manchester sky is allowed to stand in the same life as the boy who trained for one hundred million years. If that threatens the old order… then the old order was already too fragile to survive the open question.

The white room remained silent.

Athena and Maat did not leave.

They simply stood there, fully seen, while Sophia continued the gentle alignment of two unfinished lives  smiling, still, and no longer pretending that divine patrons could hide anything from her.
