Myriad Dragon Divine Sovereign

Chapter 383: Your 3 Moves Are Over

CLANG!

Wen Qingye felt his sword strike Zhu Yan’s fan directly. Zhu Yan’s figure drifted back, thrown by the impact.

But Wen Qingye wouldn’t let up so easily. With a Dragon Walk and Tiger Stride, he advanced with large steps. The sword in his hand was so fast it left no afterimages, yet its presence was incomparably heavy.

The second sword strike!

Zhu Yan saw Wen Qingye’s sword, but he couldn’t dodge it at all. He could only barely block it with his fan. The moment the fan touched Wen Qingye’s sword, however, his body felt as if it had been struck by a heavy sledgehammer, and he was sent flying backward.

Five strikes in a row. Wen Qingye charged forward with each one, and each time his sword struck Zhu Yan’s fan. Zhu Yan was forced back again and again until he was nearly at the edge of the cliff.

The Great Wilderness Ancient Stele continued to radiate Dao Patterns, but at this moment, everyone was too busy watching the tense battle to pay attention to the lower-grade Martial Arts. This turned out to be a boon for the Martial Artists from other, smaller sects.

Liang Qing stood not far away, watching the completely suppressed Zhu Yan. He couldn’t help but suck in a sharp breath. "Gods, he’s too strong. This Wen Qingye is just too strong! He’s even suppressing Zhu Yan like this."

Zhong Tiandao nodded, speaking with a hint of arrogance. "Such a fast sword, so ferocious. But he’s no match for me."

Beside them, Youu Junlian watched Wen Qingye’s flickering form, her beautiful eyes flashing. ’So strong!’

Su Zixin nodded dazedly. "He’s a true prodigy. His rate of improvement is just too fast."

"The speed of his sword now... I can’t even follow it anymore," Luu Han said, shaking his head with a wry smile.

All the experts present couldn’t help but abandon the Dao Patterns and turn their attention to the two combatants. Wen Qingye’s strength had already shocked them.

Zhu Yan was, of course, aware of what lay behind him. Seeing Wen Qingye continue to charge, he couldn’t help but sneer inwardly. ’Wen Qingye, I’ll let you see my true strength.’

Zhu Yan flicked his thumb. The bright silver Iron Fan snapped open like a peacock’s tail, then swung upward to the right, tracing a silvery arc.

"Fan Dance in the Sky!"

This one swing seemed to gather all the Heaven and Earth Primordial Qi, unleashing a dragon-like tornado that raged toward Wen Qingye.

The gale from Zhu Yan’s fan shattered the surrounding boulders, kicking up wild sand and stones that merged and began to spin together.

Wen Qingye’s brow furrowed slightly. He wouldn’t care about an ordinary tornado, but the one Zhu Yan had summoned was incredibly powerful, capable of easily smashing mountains and boulders. The body of the dragon-like hurricane even shimmered with a crystalline light, a sign of extreme condensation.

The One Thought Sword surged upward, radiating a brilliant golden light that illuminated the surroundings.

"Second Form of the Sword Emperor Technique! Massacre!"

Wen Qingye slashed out. The Sword Aura was filled with a blinding golden light. A beam of this aura, seeming both fast and slow, flew toward the tornado, and from within it, the sounds of countless battle cries seemed to echo.

In that instant, a vibrating sound from the Sword Aura resounded across the summit of Xuwang Mountain.

"Massa..."

"Mass..."

Seeing this, Zhu Yan grew anxious. He waved his fan again, and in an instant, two more ferocious tornadoes shot toward Wen Qingye.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The Sword Aura and the three tornadoes collided, becoming endlessly entangled.

Wen Qingye took three small steps back. In truth, these steps were merely to dissipate the force of the impact into the ground. He didn’t want to expend a large amount of his own Primordial Qi to dispel the bit of Zhu Yan’s that had invaded his body.

Zhu Yan, meanwhile, caught his breath. He walked toward Wen Qingye step by step, a look of complete confidence on his face. The silvery-white Iron Fan in his hand began to dance rapidly once more, and white, petal-like shapes seemed to materialize in the air.

"Fan Stirring Plum Blossoms!"

With a flick of his fan, the Heaven and Earth Primordial Qi gathered frantically. A hurricane in the shape of a plum blossom condensed and shot toward Wen Qingye.

Wen Qingye watched the hurricane tear through the sky, pouncing like a fierce tiger, and swung his sword down hard.

SWOOSH!

A beam of Sword Aura erupted from the blade of the One Thought Sword, raging toward the hurricane.

But the moment the Sword Aura touched the hurricane, it was devoured, vanishing without a trace. Seeing this, Wen Qingye’s expression remained calm. The One Thought Sword in his hand moved even faster, and several more beams of Sword Aura shot out from its blade.

SWOOSH SWOOSH SWOOSH SWOOSH SWOOSH...

Wen Qingye’s arm seemed to have swung only once, but for some reason, dozens of Sword Auras flew out, heavily striking the approaching hurricane.

The numerous Sword Auras collided with the plum blossom hurricane, and then, abruptly, both vanished, dissolving into shimmering motes of Primordial Qi that drifted through the air—a breathtaking sight.

"How is that possible?" Zhu Yan’s smile vanished. Then, as if he’d realized something, he stared at Wen Qingye in disbelief. "Did you see the flow pattern of my Primordial Qi? And then... you reversed it?"

Zhu Yan’s hurricane was formed based on a peculiar flow pattern; that was the secret to his previous move’s ingenuity. Yet Wen Qingye’s Sword Aura had actually reversed the direction of his Primordial Qi, breaking his plum blossom hurricane in an instant.

This was simply astounding. How did Wen Qingye know the secret of Zhu Yan’s Martial Arts, and how did he control the Primordial Qi in his Sword Aura to reverse the flow of another’s?

Wen Qingye gave a faint smile and said nonchalantly, "You have one last chance. One final move."

Hearing Wen Qingye’s words, Zhu Yan’s brow furrowed deeply, and his expression became so dark it seemed to drip with gloom.

"Then I, Zhu Yan, will let you witness the strongest move I have obtained!"

Zhu Yan bellowed, and with a shake of his fan, a heavy and desolate aura suddenly filled the air.

"Fan Dance Seven Stars Kill!"

Suddenly, seven strange sounds echoed in the ears of the crowd.

PFFT! PFFT! PFFT! PFFT! PFFT! PFFT! PFFT!

Wen Qingye stood his ground as seven chilling stars of light appeared on his body. The seven stars were interconnected, shimmering with a dreadful brilliance.

And these seven locations were none other than some of the body’s fatal acupoints, such as the Chest Acupoint, Jueqian Acupoint, Shenque Acupoint, Qi Sea Acupoint, Guan Yuan Acupoint, and Middle Cavity Acupoint.

"Goodbye, Wen Qingye!"

Zhu Yan smiled faintly at Wen Qingye as the hand seals for his Spell began to change.

Fangg Xin watched the seven points of starlight on Wen Qingye’s body with a serious expression and shook his head. "Is this the first move of the Spirit-Grade Martial Arts that Zhu Yan obtained?"

"What a formidable move," Jiekong remarked, his brow slightly furrowed.

Meanwhile, Hankong watched from the side without so much as blinking, not saying a word.

Liu Jingwen watched Wen Qingye standing tall and felt her heart tighten. She murmured, "Little Brother Wen..."

"Explode for me!"

In a flash, Zhu Yan’s hand seals seemed to complete, and he let out a sudden, sharp cry.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Following that, the crowd heard a series of seven explosive sounds erupting from the exact locations of the seven fatal acupoints on Wen Qingye’s body.

"He..." Yanr Yuhuan trailed off as she watched Wen Qingye engulfed in the explosions.

Liu Jingwen felt tears welling in her eyes, and her voice trembled. "No way... It can’t be..."

When Liang Qing, Huang Zhentian, Weii Xiaoxiao, Li Da, and the others saw this, their eyes lit up.

The fatal acupoints were forbidden zones of the human body. With them exploding like that, how could Wen Qingye possibly survive?

Hankong stared at Wen Qingye in the center of the explosion, and an icy-blue glint suddenly flashed in his eyes. ’Interesting.’

The resounding booms echoed in all directions, powerful and metallic, reverberating across the entire summit of Xuwang Mountain. Thick smoke rose from Wen Qingye’s position at the center, obscuring everyone’s vision.

After a long moment, the sounds stopped.

The thick smoke gradually dissipated, revealing a figure standing steadfast within the thin haze, just as he had been at the start.

"Your three moves are up."

Wen Qingye’s light voice rang out, drifting into the ears of the crowd.
