"As expected of me, haha."

A familiar, hearty voice, yet carrying the composure of an adult male, rang out with a smile from the other side of the battlefield.

Everyone looked toward the sound and saw the Seventh Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto, who had previously been suppressed by the large box created by Isshiki using "Daikokuten" and unable to move due to being pierced by black rods, now looking in their direction.

The massive box that had been on him had disappeared at some point.

It turned out that the young Naruto, after dealing with Otsutsuki Isshiki, had immediately noticed the situation here.

Using the power of the black eye he had just obtained, he successfully shrank the large box cube that was pressing down on his adult self and removed it.

Hearing his adult self’s exclamation, the young Naruto also smiled. He walked over to the Seventh Hokage with the other three, extended his right hand, and introduced himself:

"Nice to meet you. I am Uzumaki Naruto, from another dimension, and currently the Sixth Hokage of Hidden Leaf Village."

The Seventh Hokage, Naruto, looked at the spirited young man before him, who was much younger than himself yet already shouldering the heavy responsibility of being Hokage, and an indescribable, strange feeling welled up in his heart.

He grinned, revealing an infectious smile, and raised his right hand, clasping it tightly with the young Naruto’s.

"That’s amazing, becoming Hokage at such a young age!"

The Seventh Hokage exclaimed sincerely. The other person looked about the same age as Boruto, yet he was already Hokage.

In his memory, the only other person he could recall who became a Kage at around the same age as this version of himself from another dimension was Gaara.

"I am Uzumaki Naruto, the Seventh Hokage of this world. It’s nice to meet you."

Their hands remained clasped, both feeling quite moved.

"Don’t move around, your wounds are still bleeding."

A deep, familiar voice interjected.

Adult Sasuke had already walked to the Seventh Hokage’s side and began to carefully remove the black rods that were still embedded in the Seventh Hokage’s body.

These black rods were embedded deep into the flesh, and each one pulled out brought a small trickle of blood, but Sasuke’s technique was clean and swift, minimizing the pain as much as possible.

The Seventh Hokage winced and gritted his teeth, not forgetting to mutter: "Easy, easy, Sasuke..."

"Bear with it. If I pull them out slowly, you’ll be in pain for longer."

Once all the black rods were removed, the Seventh Hokage let out a long sigh of relief.

He stretched his stiff and sore limbs and hopped in place twice. Although his face was still pale and his breathing slightly unstable, that vitality belonging to Uzumaki Naruto—the kind that seemed as if it would never be extinguished—returned to him.

What everyone was facing now was not the exhausted Seventh Hokage, but an Uzumaki Naruto who had recovered his state during the time he was suppressed.

Seeing his younger self and being saved by him—this feeling was truly strange.

The Seventh Hokage thought to himself, his gaze toward the young Naruto filled with a touch of emotion.

"Dad!"

Just then, Boruto could no longer suppress his inner excitement and lingering fear. Like a fledgling bird returning to its nest, he lunged into the Seventh Hokage’s broad, warm embrace, wrapping his arms tightly around his father’s waist and burying his face in his chest.

Just moments ago, when Isshiki suddenly used "Daikokuten" to create the large box and pin the Seventh Hokage down, Boruto had truly thought his father was going to die. That feeling of terror, where his heart had almost stopped beating, was only now being fully released.

"Haha, Boruto, I’m fine. It’s okay now."

The Seventh Hokage felt his son’s body trembling slightly, and his heart softened. He gently patted Boruto’s back with his large palm, his voice soothing as he calmed his son’s emotions.

After a while, he gently pulled Boruto out of his embrace, set him on the ground, and then, as usual, raised his large hand to affectionately ruffle Boruto’s hair, which was exactly like his own.

His gaze fell upon Boruto’s face, his eyes becoming serious and deep: "Although your action of dragging Isshiki directly into this different dimension this time was indeed a bit reckless and risky."

He paused, his tone carrying severity, yet also hiding undeniable pride and lingering fear.

"But I have clearly felt your determination and courage to protect the Village and your comrades. However, next time, let Dad handle it."

Hearing his father’s affirmation, Boruto’s nose stung and his eyes grew hot, but he held it back, not wanting to lose face in front of the dad and teacher from another dimension.

He sniffled and retorted in a low voice: "It was Dad and Sasuke-san who were reckless! If you hadn’t come, I might have found a way on my own..."

"Boruto."

The smile on the Seventh Hokage’s face slowly faded, and he interrupted what Boruto was about to say.

He placed his hands on Boruto’s shoulders and said firmly:

"Boruto, you must remember."

"I am the Seventh Hokage of Konoha Village. Protecting the Village and every single villager is my responsibility, and it is the vow I must fulfill as I bear the name of ’Hokage’."

"But at the same time, I am also your father. Protecting you, protecting my son, and not letting you get hurt is the instinct of a father, and it is a responsibility I will never shirk."

His eyes were like the deepest ocean, encompassing all of Boruto’s emotions while conveying a love and sense of responsibility as heavy as a mountain:

"No father would ever be willing to watch his own son face unpredictable danger all alone. So no matter how many times it happens, no matter where you encounter danger, Sasuke and I will definitely come. Because..."

The Seventh Hokage’s voice was slightly hoarse, yet incomparably sincere: "You are my son."

Boruto stared blankly at his father’s face, which was inches away. In those azure eyes that were exactly like his own, all that was reflected at this moment was his own figure, along with that heavy, unreserved fatherly love.

All the grievances, lingering fear, and bravado dissolved into hot tears at this moment, finally spilling from his eyes uncontrollably.

He nodded vigorously, choking back sobs, unable to speak, and simply hugged his father tighter.

Uzumaki Naruto also hugged Uzumaki Boruto tightly.

At this moment, they were not the Seventh Hokage or Momoshiki’s "vessel," but simply themselves.

The young Naruto and Adult Sasuke watched this scene quietly, neither speaking.

Compared to the young Naruto, Sasuke, who had already become a father, could empathize more. Although he was not good at expressing himself, he loved Uchiha Sarada deeply.

She was his daughter, and Sasuke’s only living relative.

Otohime tugged at the young Naruto’s sleeve and whispered: "I can sense Momoshiki’s Karma on this boy. If nothing unexpected happens, his fate is already sealed."

Destined to become the vessel for Momoshiki’s resurrection.

The young Naruto shook his head.

"I believe in Boruto."

Otohime clicked her tongue. "Tsk, I really don’t know where you get your confidence from."

The young Naruto, however, was very confident. "Because... he is Uzumaki Boruto, and the legendary story that belongs to him has only just begun."
