Grey didn’t dodge the attack simply because he didn’t need to.

The Overseer’s fist collided with Grey’s open palm, and the impact sent shockwaves rippling across the entire planet.

But Grey stood completely unmoved.

"Is that all you’ve got?" Grey asked calmly.

"Impossible!" The Overseer’s eyes widened in shock.

He pulled back and attacked again, this time with both fists swinging in rapid succession.

Grey blocked each strike effortlessly, his Buddha Mode radiating power that suppressed everything around him.

The Overseer grew desperate.

Reality itself began bending around his body.

The air twisted and warped as he manipulated the fundamental laws of existence. Gravity reversed itself. Space folded inward. Time stuttered and skipped erratically.

Grey raised an eyebrow at the display.

"Reality bending? It’s not bad but there is certainly room for improvement."

The Overseer didn’t bother replying. He thrust his palm forward, and a wave of distorted space rushed toward Grey.

Everything it touched was erased from existence, leaving behind nothing but empty void.

Grey extended his hand.

Divine Thunder erupted from his fingertips, clashing against the reality-bending wave.

The two forces collided violently, creating an explosion that lit up the entire sky.

The Overseer didn’t stop there.

He waved his arms in complex patterns, rewriting the laws of physics around Grey’s body.

Gravity bend at a scale that would disrupt a 12th rank being and the air became solid as the Chaos.

Space compressed inward, trying to crush Grey into nothingness.

Grey simply smiled.

His Buddha Mode flared brighter, and all the manipulated laws shattered like glass.

"Dharmic Power doesn’t care about your reality bending," Grey said. "Well, even if I didn’t have Dharmic Power, things wouldn’t be much different."

This guy was something he could take down even without the Buddha Mode. He was only at the middle-stages of the 12th rank.

But of course, he was going to be cautious. The guy still haven’t revealed the Chaos Source Codex after all.

The Overseer gritted his teeth in frustration.

"Then I’ll use something you can’t ignore!"

He shot downward toward the planet’s surface at incredible speed.

Grey followed without hesitation.

They tore through the atmosphere, through the crust, through layers of rock and magma.

Soon, the Overseer reached the Earth’s core.

Floating at the center of the molten core was a crystalline structure pulsing with chaotic energy.

The Chaos Source Codex fragment.

The Overseer grabbed it without hesitation.

Chaotic power flooded into his body, transforming his golden aura into something far more unstable and dangerous.

"Let’s see you handle this!" he roared.

He thrust his palm forward, and a beam of pure Chaos energy shot toward Grey.

The attack was completely unpredictable.

It twisted and bent through space, changing trajectory multiple times before reaching its target. Normal perception couldn’t track it. Normal defenses couldn’t block it.

The world got destroyed as the Chaos attack connected.

For a moment, everything went white.

Then Grey’s laughter echoed through the molten core.

"Did you really think that would work?"

The light faded, revealing Grey completely unharmed and with a snap of his finger, the world that got destroyed was rewinded right back.

In his hand, his own Chaos Source Codex fragment glowed with overwhelming power.

"I have the bigger piece," Grey said with a grin. "Your fragment can’t do anything to me."

He activated his Nexus Energy simultaneously with the Codex.

Purple and chaotic light merged together, creating a force that completely overwhelmed the Overseer’s borrowed power.

The Overseer stumbled backward in shock.

"What... what are you?!"

Grey didn’t answer with words.

He instead answered with an action.

"Divine Shattered Shock."

His fist connected with the Overseer’s chest.

The impact sent the man flying backward through layers of rock and magma, crashing through the planet’s crust and emerging on the surface.

Grey followed instantly.

The Overseer tried to counterattack, launching waves of reality-bending energy.

Grey weaved through them effortlessly, his body moving with impossible speed.

He activated his Eternal Bastion Method, creating layered barriers that absorbed and redirected the attacks.

The Overseer grew more desperate.

He poured more power from the Codex fragment into his attacks, his body straining under the chaotic energy.

Grey responded with the Chaos Sovereign Art.

With it, he could control any chaotic flow.

The chaotic energy around the Overseer suddenly became calm and ordered, stripping away his borrowed power piece by piece.

"No!" the Overseer screamed. "Stop that!"

Grey appeared directly in front of him and grabbed him by the throat.

"Divine Thunder."

Lightning surged through the Overseer’s body, paralyzing him completely.

But Grey wasn’t done.

He activated his Eternal Recovery Art, not to heal himself, but to stabilize the Overseer’s body.

He didn’t want the man dying before he got answers.

Finally, Grey channeled his Nexus Axiom Energy directly into the Overseer.

The purple energy invaded every core of the man’s core, sealing away his powers completely.

The Overseer’s golden aura flickered and died.

Grey released his grip, letting the powerless man fall to the ground.

"There," Grey said calmly. "Now we can talk properly."

He deactivated his Buddha Mode, returning to his normal appearance.

The Overseer lay on the ground, completely helpless.

Grey knelt down beside him.

"It’s time for you to speak now. Tell me everything about this place, where you came from, and how you acquired the Chaos Source Codex."

As he spoke, Grey reached toward the Overseer’s chest and forcefully extracted the Codex fragment.

The higher dimensional structure floated into his hand, before he put it away.

The Overseer stared at Grey with a mixture of hatred and disbelief.

Then he looked at the merged Codex fragment.

"How do you know about the Chaos Source Codex?" he demanded. "Do you think you’re special or something?"

Grey tilted his head slightly.

"I don’t think I’m special. I know I’m special."

The Overseer’s expression turned bitter at his words.

Silence stretched between them for a long moment.

Finally, the Overseer spoke.

"I just wanted to protect this world," he said quietly. "This universe was filled with killing and endless power struggles. People going after each other, lusting for strength, destroying everything in their path."

He looked up at the sky with hollow eyes.

"I decided to use the power of the Chaos Source Codex to build a new reality. I formed the suppressive DNA that you already identified. I used it to suppress everyone in this world."

His voice grew softer.

"I wanted to convert this place into a planet like the one I came from. A planet called Earth."

Grey listened without interrupting.

Eterna descended from the sky and landed beside him, having witnessed the entire battle from above.

"So you didn’t turn this world into a normal place because you wanted to hide the Chaos Source Codex?" Grey asked with a frown. "That was never your intention?"

The Overseer shook his head.

"No. That was never my goal. If I wanted to hide it, I would have just left this universe entirely."

Grey stroked his chin thoughtfully.

"Then let me ask you something else. How did you create the suppressive DNA? That’s definitely not ordinary power. Did you find the formula inside the Chaos Source Codex?"

The Overseer’s expression flickered strangely.

"Even I cannot properly use the power of the Chaos Source Codex," he admitted. "I don’t have the talent for it. I can only access fragments of its knowledge."

He took a deep breath.

"The suppressive DNA... I found it at an ancient altar at the center of this universe."

Grey’s eyes narrowed immediately.

"An ancient altar?"

He snapped his fingers, and an image appeared in the air between them.

It was the altar of Tian Yuan, the structures that existed across multiple universes that Tian Yuan visits to spread his path.

"Did it look anything like this?" Grey asked.

The Overseer studied the image and shook his head.

"No, nothing like that. The altar I found was completely different."

He hesitated before continuing.

"But from what I could decipher... it has a relation to Hell."

Grey froze at those words.

Hell.

He knew nothing about Hell aside from the fact that it was where Asuras, Devils, and other hellish beings lived.

How and where did an altar containing suppressive DNA come from Hell?

This situation was far more complicated than he initially thought.

It seemed like the Chaos Source Codex wasn’t the only thing hidden in this universe.

Grey pulled out a communication device and contacted Joestar immediately about this Earth Transmigrator.

He transmitted all the relevant information he had gathered.

"I’ll send people there immediately, Thank you, Friend Grey." Joestar replied through the device.

Grey ended the communication and turned to Eterna.

"Let’s go find this altar."

Eterna nodded without hesitation.

"Lead the way."

The Overseer provided the coordinates reluctantly, knowing he had no choice in the matter.

Grey grabbed Eterna’s hand, and they teleported directly to the location.

They arrived at the center of the universe.

And immediately, Grey’s expression darkened.

"What the hell is this?"
