Chapter 1514: Chapter 618: Ming’s Showdown (Part 2)

At this moment, Wei Heng finally broke free of the pressure and sprang up with a start, as if he were obeying a command.

In truth, Qin Ming was very cooperative, putting away the Heart Suppressing Bell at just the right time.

In the distance, the crowd saw this scene. Although they understood what was really going on, someone still deliberately jeered: "Fairy Li Qingyue is kind-hearted; she has pardoned Wei Heng."

Wei Heng had always been overbearing; even his fellow disciples feared him, let alone outsiders. Naturally, he had offended many people. So now, with some secretly sending him mocking voice transmissions, it was only normal.

"Fairy Li’s heart is broad, her bearing extraordinary—she truly has the demeanor of Empress Yue."

Having gone through the humiliation of that forced kneeling, Wei Heng’s whole mentality was on the verge of collapse. This would be a stain on his life forever; right now, of course, his rage was boundless.

"You cheap whore!" He wanted to spit out those two words. However, just as he formed the shape of them with his mouth, before he could make a sound, blood began to spray from his nose and lips.

With Qin Ming standing here, how could he possibly tolerate such insolent words?

If this man were allowed to utter even half a filthy sentence, it would make him, as a Great Saint, look powerless.

With a thunderous boom, Qin Ming’s great sleeve swept out. Fierce gusts of wind and Thunder Seals poured down like a stormy tide smashing against the shore; wind and thunder rolled, Tao Patterns filled the sky, and all of it crashed onto Wei Heng.

At the same time, his calm yet awe-inspiring voice resounded between heaven and earth: "In front of me, you dare to yap like a dog?"

Wei Heng’s body was covered in cracks as he spat mouthfuls of blood. His pupils shrank violently; a hurricane rose in his heart, even his Divine Soul trembling, his whole being quivering ever so slightly.

He had soared up in a show of force, only to be brushed by the other’s sleeve once and then plummet like a kite with its string cut, slamming into the ground as blood gushed from his seven orifices.

Earlier, he had still been telling himself that he had carelessly fallen into a trap, had his mind ensnared, and in a moment of negligence suffered that unspeakably humiliating scene.

Now, however, he distinctly felt the gap between them—utterly unbridgeable, like a great chasm yawning between them.

He simply was not a match; his strength and the other’s were not even on the same tier.

Wei Heng crashed into the ground; that patch of forest exploded, a massive pit appearing on the spot, and black fissures in the earth radiated out for a mile or two.

Many people felt their hearts shudder violently and began to reassess the power of the man in the night sky.

Wei Heng bore the title of Quasi Saint, yet he had lost in such a miserable fashion.

Qin Ming hung high beneath the night curtain, bathed in Divine Light. It was as if tides were surging around him. Before him, an enormous golden hand materialized out of nothing.

He thrust out his right hand, and with a roar, the golden hand moved in unison. Amid flying dirt and shattered stone, the earth split open as it scooped Wei Heng up from where he had been driven underground.

How could Lu Xunzhen possibly just watch this happen? He had long since made his move. A flick of his fingers brought forth Samadhi True Fire, dyeing half the sky red. At the same time, he spat out lightning that tore apart the night curtain—a silver dragon soaring forth, shredding the peak of a towering mountain that pierced the clouds.

Qin Ming turned his head slightly and raised a finger. The Heart Suppressing Bell reappeared, this time on an even more colossal scale, booming as though it meant to squeeze the entire night sky.

With a resonant clang, the giant bell inscribed with Scripture and true meaning descended, clamping down over Lu Xunzhen, the sky-wide Samadhi True Fire, and that massive dragon-shaped bolt of lightning.

This scene made everyone draw in the Night Fog in a sharp breath. The man with celestial beauty was indeed a Saint Level figure; that unhurried aura and confident bearing compelled both admiration and fear.

"Does he truly intend to use this bell to suppress Lu Xunzhen directly?" Some people felt their hearts surge, unable to calm down.

Qin Ming hoisted Wei Heng up and clenched his great hand, instantly twisting Wei Heng’s face out of shape. Blood sprayed, and the sound of bones breaking within his body rang clearly through the night sky.

"Sober up. With your measly courage, you dare to speak rudely of Qing Yue? Who gave you the guts to spew filth here?"

Qin Ming’s hand tightened again. Wei Heng’s internal organs were all shattered, almost compressed into a lump of pulp.

"This time, you will bow your head in full awareness!" He was like a man remolding a clay figure, kneading this once-praised Quasi Saint and forcing him down in the night sky.

Wei Heng felt as if his whole body were about to ignite. The second movement of this nightmare humiliation descended upon him; he went through it all over again, and this time his consciousness remained crystal clear, not muddled.

In the Void, subtle ripples spread outward as Lu Xunzhen’s senior sister quietly approached to kill. She did not dare strike at Qin Ming, knowing she would surely lose.

Her target was Li Qingyue; she wanted to seize her first and consider the rest later.

"Li Qing..." Her expression was icy. Today, her senior brother’s prestige had suffered a grievous blow, making all the junior sisters and junior brothers feel as though they too had been shamed.

"Where did you get the confidence to launch a sneak attack in my presence?" Qin Ming did not even look back. His left hand swept backward to the side, and a Heavenly Light Hand Seal instantly emerged.

With a bang, Lu Xunzhen’s senior sister was sent tumbling through the night sky, her whole body splitting apart. Inside her, it was like beans frying in a pan, crackling nonstop.

Her tendons and bones were all broken, and her Spiritual Field was corroded by that terrifying Chaos Force—torn apart, reformed, extinguished, then flaring to life again.

Had it been another expert, even if not killed, they would have been crippled.

The Grandmasters of Dao City were indeed extraordinary; their flesh could be reshaped, and their consciousness was hard to fully snuff out.

Of course, the main reason was that Qin Ming did not wish to violate the rules and was strictly controlling his strength.

Even so, Lu Xunzhen’s senior sister had almost been half-crippled, suffering a horrific serious injury.

In truth, her psychological wounds were even worse. Normally she held herself in very high esteem; in Dao City, to call her a favored daughter of heaven would be no exaggeration. Yet now, she had gone all out to kill, only to be slapped into ruin by a single palm, nearly blasted apart.

For her, this blow was enough to become a lingering psychological shadow lasting for many years.
