Chapter 2962: Dungeons in Avalon? III

A fusion of dungeon core which is the main energy source of dungeons that creates the monsters in it and the island core which handles everything relating to the floating island. Such a combination has yet to be known as even the Daemos Elders have not heard of it. Even Old Man Pann is shocked upon seeing such a thing because a dungeon should be an independent entity once it forms but this new island is basically both.

"How did such a thing be possible?" Aernas stated as even he with all his knowledge and scrolls relating to every event in history has never encountered something like this.

"I think there is something like that happened before but those overgrown lizards always destroyed it. They are the reason why floating islands got destroyed in the first place as they erased every one of them. I am talking about the Ancient Dragons and not the dragon kings of today." Elder Ascalor stated as he did hear something about floating island dungeons from his acquaintance back then.

"I remember that. There was this dragon lass that basically always clung to you even back then. Was she the one that told you about those floating island dungeons?" Old Man Pann stated as his voice was neither discreet or loud but the leaves and grass rustled. The next thing that everyone knew is that Elder Danaya is now clung to Elder Ascalor’s arm.

"Ara... I would like to hear this story as well. Please do tell me all about it." Elder Danaya stated with a smiling but not really smiling face.

"Maybe another time as the islands is now facing an unprecedented turn of events." Old Man Pann stated as Elder Ascalor has now grown stiff and cannot look directly at Elder Danaya despite the latter looking at him directly.

"I can just ask Basil about it. The Ancient Dragons should have already awoken and she could just ask them now since she is in Dragon Island." Adrian stated as he messaged Basil directly and a reply actually came a few minutes later.

"It seems that the dragon lass has already given an answer. What did she say?" Aernas asked as he wanted to record this to a scroll for preservation of knowledge.

"It seems that the Ancient Dragons back then did destroy the floating islands because they detected strange energy readings on them as they sucked in all of the mana in the sky which made it dry. This caused the event called the Great Drought as recorded in the history of this world. They did not let the floating island fully form into a dungeon but destroyed them while they were still unstable." Adrian stated which means Avalon’s islands is truly the only floating island dungeon in the main world.

Adrian did not want to say that his territory is the only floating island dungeon as there might be a same existence in other worlds. Only the main world has no floating island dungeon but he might encounter more in the future should he go to other worlds. Some players might have already encountered them and not speak about them since they only focused on the dungeon part.

"The dragons will not attack the territory, right?" Elder Ascalor asked as they did destroy the forming floating island dungeons before.

"It seems that they will not do so as there is no destabilization of nature which is why they are not taking action. Also, Basil added that the dragons did not truly destroy the dungeons forming but only the floating islands themselves. It seems that the dungeon debris that fell on the ground soon formed as dungeon in the end. The excess energy did not create a dungeon break as most of it dissipated on the way down to the ground." Adrian added which Aernas jotted down with shining eyes.

"In the end, they still formed into dungeons but the floating islands ceased to exist. This will be nice knowledge to be passed down and how other dungeons are actually from floating islands destroyed in the past." Aernas muttered as he is now more focused on creating journals.

"Anyways, Capri. Does the dungeon have any settings or anything special about it?" Adrian asked.

"If the young lord was not the one asking then I will not say this but since it is you then I shall say. The Hollow Tree Dungeon has three branching scenarios that is crafted from the memories of all living and dead beings on this island. Please take a look at this, young lord!" Capri stated as he created a holographic description of the dungeon difficulties.

Adrian can only gulp when he read the description and the exact status of the dungeon. He wanted to keep quiet and change the topic but the other elders were looking at him as they waited for his words. He then smiled with such sweetness and proceeded to tell them the detais that he was shown by Capri as he is the only one that was given or can see it as the Lord of Avalon.

Adrian thought that he would be reprimanded because he created an insane dungeon but the elders actually laughed. Adrian thought that they have lost their mind but it seems that the elders have a different way of interpreting the dungeon. It just means that this dungeon is actually very useful as both a source of money and training.
