"I am sure that they will be glad that you still care about them even in death." The Merfolk Queen stated.

"Mother! It is a good thing that we were able to arrive here on time." Crown Princess Aisla stated but the guards were making sure to hold her carefully as her body was still weakened.

"What happened to you, my child?!" The Scylla Queen asked and the crown princess decided to tell everything that happened. Even Princess Drona told her side of the story with the help of her two guards that survived.

The Scylla Queen and the Merfolk King and Queen could not believe what they have heard. The Scylla Queen even flew into rage as she despises the Followers of the Watery Abyss the most. They were the ones that killed her husband back then when he was ambushed with Princess Drona. If not for Princess Drona awakening the blessing of the Goddess Echidna, then she would have died back then as well.

The Scylla Queen’s husband protected their youngest daughter to the very end. Princess Drona even saw the sigils of the Followers of the Watery Abyss which is why they knew that it was their doing. The aggressive purging of the Followers of the Watery Abyss happened when the Scylla Queen’s husband was killed. It seems that they also planned to kill Princess Drona again but in a more discreet manner by using a Ghost Soul Leviathan.

"Those pests! I thought that I have purged everyone of them but it seems that they were all hiding like octopi!" The Scylla Queen shouted in rage.

"We are also enraged as you are but we must remain level headed. They have already ingrained themselves into our courts. There are even generals and royal guards among them. We cannot move recklessly now that they know that we know." The Merfolk King stated.

"They will surely hear of what happened here and then hide themselves once more. If only we can determine who they are without any problem." The Merfolk Queen stated as her hands could be seen trembling with anger as she also lost her mother from an attack from the Followers of the Watery Abyss.

"The big brother there could determine them without any problem." Princess Drona stated as she pointed towards Adrian who was currently in a trance like state.

Adrian was speaking with one of the goddesses when he suddenly felt the attention of everyone go to him. The trance like state cut off and he knew that he was different from all of them but the staring is a bit of a burden. He suddenly asked Altum what was happening as he could not pay attention to what was happening.

"The cute princess just told everyone that you could determine if someone has been corrupted." Altum stated.

"Is that so? Well, she is not wrong but even they can conceal the truth from my eyes. Unless they are not wary, I can definitely spot the corrupted ones." Adrian replied without any lies as he could truly do so.

"I told you so. The big brother even spotted the corrupted royal guard when she tried to attack me." Princess Drona stated as she made a triumphant pose.

"It is not like there is no other way. You can just force them to show their true forms if you inject them with divine power that is opposite of their own divine power. The divine energy of the dark gods and distorted gods do not mix well with that of the Gods of Pandemonium." Adrian stated which made the royal family have complicated expressions.

"Equinox, not all of them can do that easily. It might be very normal in the surface world but below it is not. Only a few beings can actually channel divine energy into others as priests are very sacred in the deep waters. In exchange, those blessed by the gods here are very much more powerful than the ones in the surface. Of course, they cannot be compared to envoys and champions but the average priest here is more powerful than an average priest in the surface." Renyu stated.

"Oh! I actually did not know that. If that is the case then you can just ask the help of the churches." Adrian stated as it would easier since they are more powerful. His words suddenly made everyone look at each other again as if that cannot be done as well.

With a flick of his hand, the guards that were trying to rest are suddenly swept by a force. They were all brought towards Adrian without any resistance. The members of the royal families cannot believe that someone would actually do that. No one was courageous enough to offend the blessed guards of the oceans and seas because they are beings directly under the Titan of the Ocean and the God of the Seas.

"I hope that all of you have rested enough because all of you were totally useless earlier." Adrian stated without any filter.

The blessed guards of the oceans and seas wanted to retort but they can feel a pressure from the being before them. A pressure that emanates only from those that have powerful divine energy or at least protected by gods. Even if they wanted to retort, they do not have the confidence to do so because they were all incapacitated earlier.

The scene etched something into the minds of the royal families as they could not believe that the blessed guards were not offended but looked weak in front of the demon. Altum could only be seen chuckling at the side as he always knew that his guild leader means business. If he is escalating this already with a mouth without filter then he must have lost patience since they have gotten sidetracked. Renyu also stood there with an expression of disbelief since she did not know that Equinox was this daring.

"It seems that all of you agree as well. Since all of you know that this is an attack from the Followers of the Watery Abyss. All of you will report to the churches and tell them that they need to hold a blessing ceremony for each of the two kingdoms. The citizens can wait but those working on the castle should be the first to receive these blessings. Am I being clear?" Adrian stated.

"What about you, Altum? Are there no branches for the Church of the Deep here?" Adrian asked just to be sure.

"We do not have those because our church does not have branches in the first place. We only have one main church and that is in Avalon." Altum replied and Adrian accepted that as there are churches like that.

"Well, what are you all waiting for? Are you waiting for me to say that you need to go now?" Adrian asked as he looked at the pitiful blessed guards.

"Yes, sir!" All of the blessed guards stated but Adrian was not heartless. He made sure to give them potions that will heal their wounds and restore stamina.

"Wow! Big brother! Who are you really?! Even those scary guards are afraid of you." Princess Drona stated.

"They should be afraid because this big brother here is the Champion of Life and Death." Altum bragged but his words shocked the members of the royal family.

"It seems we were discourteous! We did not know that we were in the presence of a champion!" The members of the royal family and the other guards all bowed their head towards Adrian.

"Please do not do something like this as it is too much. Also, this guy is the Champion of the Deep as well. I am not the only champion here." Adrian stated which shocked the others as well and they also bowed towards Altum.

"Renyu, we did not know that you know beings handpicked by the gods. No wonder the blessed guards could not say anything earlier. They might have felt their divinity." The Merfolk Queen stated.

"I also just asked for their help today and their real objective is the Forbidden Ocean: Realm of Oceanus. I am merely tagging along as I also need to go there." Renyu replied which made the royal family members look concerned.
