Adrian then came out of the pocket dimension when they passed through. He knew that showing himself of having at least a trace of his energy would definitely alert them which is why he made sure that he hid well. Even if he did not know which enemy or being was controlling that boat, it is never too careful to be against those that have the same energy signature as that of a titan.

"That direction... that is the direction towards the Sea of Monsters." Adrian muttered as he suddenly found it interesting because the Sea of Monsters is a forbidden zone that even other races that live in the sea avoid.

The Sea of Monsters is also the place where the Scylla that have lost their minds and the powerful primordial beast Charybdis is live. The only ones that would truly go there would either be madmen or those that have a secret they wanted to hide. Adrian suddenly felt some sort of exhilaration because he stumbled into something that he wants to find out.

"Is this how the shadow corps feel when they stumble with juicy information?!" Adrian thought as he immediately unfurled his wings but made sure to minimize his aura to the lowest degree.

He cannot have Kanlaon fly him because that would make their location be known. A gigantic golden dragon flying above would definitely catch their attention. Adrian then proceeded to use his chaos energy to slightly alter his body to be become slightly less visible as well. This would make him cast no shadow even if he flies above.

"I guess I have never really tested my wings as of the moment. It is a good way to truly find out how powerful they are." Adrian stated as he flew upwards in such great speed that he parted the water below him by a few meters.

Adrian looked happy to see tha his wings are powerful and they are also very much silent. Even if he flaps it, the wings do not release sound but they do create wind pressure. He suddenly found a way to use his wings for combat but he tucked that away for now and followed the sea beast boat.

Adrian followed the sea beast boat that swam at a quick speed. He even thought that a speed like that would have thrown all of the people on it overboard but he noticed that they were all standing like there was no air resistance at all. He then tried to look clearly to check but even his own eyes cannot focus onto the upper deck of the sea beast boat.

"What if... I do something like this?!" Adrian stated as he suddenly sprouted eyes on his wings.

As soon as wings sprouted eyes, all of them focused on the upper deck of the sea beast boat. After doing so, he managed to catch a glimpse of an enhanced magic circle etched on it. It was a spell that basically created a false gravitational field barrier around the upper deck of the sea beast boat. It was not a true gravitational field barrier but something akin to an imitation to it.

Adrian could only be in awe of the one that created such a thing. It should have been very difficult to create a false gravitational field while also creating a barrier that blocked air resistance. It was definitely the work of a powerful magic caster that should be at the level of a High Wizard or Grand Mage at the very least.

Since he already checked on the upper deck of the sea beast boat, he retracted the eyes from his wings and returned to following it. If his friends actually saw what he did to his wings and suddenly sprouting eyes from it then they would definitely say that he is definitely moving to a more inhuman aspect. Adrian should be thankful that no one pointed that out or else he would be really hurt.

Adrian then saw something strange as the sea beast boat finally entered the waters of the Sea of Monsters core area. This is where Charybdis should be located and it did appear after a few seconds of sensing something on top of its waters. Adrian thought that Charybdis would swallow the sea beast boat but it suddenly clamped its mouth shut and retreated back to the deep water.

"How did they do that?! Charybdis is a monster that basically protects the core area of the Sea of Monsters! It will swallow anything even if they are gods as long as they set sail on these waters!" Adrian muttered in shock but the surprise was not just that.

The Sea Beast Boat suddenly released a cry and the entire boat became covered in a watery barrier. The Sea Beast Boat then dove into the whirlpool created by Charybdis sinking. Adrian found that behavior kind of strange since that is basically suicide. Why would they dive deep into the water when they could have traversed the Sea of Monsters normally since Charybdis is no longer there.

"What if their hideout is inside the Sea of Monsters?!" Adrian thought as he watched the Sea Beast Boat dive into the sea and vanish.

"Seriously! I am seriously very invested in this now!" Adrian stated as he curled his wings and dove towards the same spot that the Sea Beast Boat dove into.

Adrian thought that he would have been blocked by the sudden water pressure but he actually found it odd that there was no water resistance at all. It was like the water around here was all an illusion and fake but he could clearly touch it. Even Kanlaon told him that the water is real but it seems to have been magically induced.

Adrian knew that he needed help from his soulbounds in swimming since this is not his forte. He told Kanlaon to assume a slightly bigger form as speed and stealth is the key for this mission. Kanlaon became slightly bigger and coiled around Adrian’s body while also using a darkness elemental spell to created a dark haze around them.

Kanlaon then casted a spell that created a shell of air around Adrian as he coiled around it. He then proceeded to drag the encased Adrian towards the direction that the Sea Beast Boat is diving. The Sea Beast Boat was actually faster underwater than above it. He definitely stumbled into something far more to it than meets the eye.

It did not take long for Adrian and Kanlaon to reach a place in the bottom of the sea that is filled with underground caves. He did not expect that there was a hidden underground cave system at the bottom of the Sea of Monsters. He also got a glimpse of a large gaping hole at the seabed which is clearly the place where Charybdis lies.

"Master, I can detect numerous life forces from the cave systems. I do not have the confidence that we can sneak inside without alerting anyone." Kanlaon stated.

"Thanks for bringing me here. I guess the only other way is to fuse with Charon then." Adrian stated as he recalled Kanlaon back to the Soul Chamber and called upon Charon to fuse with him.

Adrian did not just fuse with Charon immediately as he also made sure to summon his scythe armament. With Charon and his scythe form in combination, Adrian’s presence would never be detected unless a powerful divine being is present in the area. As soon as Adrian and Charon fused, he looked like a reaper monster that culls the souls of the living.

"It is time to go inside there." Adrian muttered as his entire body suddenly scattered into smoke as he phased through the walls of the underground caverns.

Adrian did not find it challenging to phase through the cavern walls as this has become second nature to him. What he did not expect is that there was no water inside of these underwater caverns at all. He went closer to one of the entrances and found out that it was actually fortified by a magic circle to make sure that seawater does not flood through. This was not a random underwater cavern but a secret base created to hide something.

He also found the sea beast boat that carried the enslaved monsters and could see that they were being unloaded by some humans. Adrian thought that they were humans at first but he could smell the energy of a titan from them. They were clearly not normal humans at all but something like a subspecies of a human or a transformed one.

"What are they even doing with those monsters?" Adrian thought as he phased through the next room where enslaved monsters were carried over.

Adrian is shocked to see what the enslaved monsters were doing upon seeing what is in the next room. All of the enslaved monsters were mining some kind of ore from the seabed. It was definitely not normal ore because it carried the energy signature of a titan.
